    I used to play this song on repeat walking through the halls of my high school and played it during math class when I didn't want to talk to anyone. Now I'm listening to it while my son's sleeping. Time goes by so fast

    I feel so comforted every time I see comments on Explosions in the Sky videos. It reminds me that there ARE people like me in the world. Hundreds in fact, that understand this music. One of the most comforting things.

    The most beautiful song I've ever heard. I fall asleep to this song every night. The emotions in this song are more strong than any combination of lyrics you could listen to. It is like a story. First bliss, then uncertainty, doubt, questioning, panic, madness, then at the end back to the bliss that once was.

    The first part of this song makes feel full of life, then it goes into a ghostly sound, the feeling of death, but not in a bad way, more of a nostalgic feeling, looking back on the beautiful life you lived.

    Explosions in the Sky may not create the most intricate compositions of the post-rock genre like Mono, or Godspeed, but they certainly breathe the most life. Listening to Explosions in the Sky, you know everything is going to be okay.

    @FloatingXDonut The thing is... Inspirational speeches are for people with no imagination, or for people who need a boost in a dark time. However, Explosions in the Sky is made to envoke some deep feelings, create thought out of nothing, make you think of everything.
    It's like this band allows you to shut out everything around you, and just let you be alone with your thoughts and emotions for as long as the song is blaring. I'm so grateful for this band, and all it's done for me.

    Ever went outside, and was all like 60-75 degrees outside and say in your mind, "It's a beautiful day to go outside!" And when you walk in a forest, you better put this song or First breath after coma on in the MP3 while you wear your head phones. Recommended by me, if you want to talk a walk outside or take stress out of you.

      There was a time when meadow, grove, and stream,
      The earth, and every common sight
      To me did seem
      Appareled in celestial light,
      The glory and the freshness of a dream.
      It is not now as it hath been of yore;-
      Turn wheresoever I may,
      By night or day,
      The things which I have seen I now can see no more.
      The rainbow comes and goes,
      And lovely is the rose;
      The moon doth with delight
      Look round her when the heavens are bare;
      Waters on a starry night
      Are beautiful and fair;
      The sunshine is a glorious birth;

    you have to understand that yes, i'm all for redistributing their music, just because i want others to hear what do, and see passed just instruments combing with one another, and creating a sound. i see explosions as much more than that. with that being said, i by no means am making any money of of their music, and feel no guilt for putting it out there for thousands of others to hear. if you guys want to support them, by all means do it.
