With the amount of content that SORA offers (along with chat GPT), I do not think that $200 price tag is worth admission, even with unlimited usage. I'm finding that sci-fi related creatures, such as dragons or mythological creatures, are consistently low textured models with a 100% success rate at unrealistic physics (so far). Beyond that, over 80% of basic generations were unusable and I even asked chatGPT for some reasonable prompts I could use. I've already used up all 50 of my video generations in less then a days time. Now I have to sit and wait for credits to reset... But I do have to applaud them for when it does get it right, because it looks incredible. No way to top up credits and no middle ground between the $20 and $200 version REALLY sucks. Might have to bite the bullet for one month and get the $200 version for one month as a personal Christmas present, but first waiting to see what openAI announces in their "twelve days of openAI" events. I appreciate you for making this video to show SORA's capabilities. Hopefully they can work out the kinks. I like what is here, but it needs work.
Thank you for this video. Very thorough, honest and refreshing! I think at this point everybody’s made up their mind, but it’s still cool that you’re giving us the info we need, in order to evaluate who it’s actually for and what it’s clear use cases are right now…
The AI video and image generation tools are fine for what you just did...throwing together a bunch of vids or images that don't mean anything. What becomes tough is when you try to fix multiple errors or things the AI left out or interpreted badly. You can never get the final product you want, and end of sinking a bunch of time into something that never really hits the mark.
@@SkillLeapAI I finally had a chance to try it out myself, and this is what I’ve concluded as well. I’m hoping that they continue to evolve the AI model and pricing tiers as well.
As I've mentioned in comments yesterday - just a one more video generator, not a game changer. But if you're making AI horrors - $200 can be a good price. Cause now you can generate a lot of them pretty fast. I suggest we'll see a lot of such horrors soon. First of all, in TikTok & RUclips Shorts.
Id look into that, it might reject them. I had a pic of guy dangling from a bungy rope and the image kept getting rejected. Im gathering the AI thinks its a noose...
@@armondtanz You don't need to use these specific prompts. You can just prompt to generate many people at once, moving fast, changing directions sharply, interacting with each other. And that's it. 80% of the generated videos will have elements of horror. Just cut and edit.
Love chatgpt. However at this point it is not worth $200. atleast for me. I'd give it a price point of maybe $100-120. I'm sure by the end of the 12 days it will be fully worth the $200 and I'll get it then. Sora is still a let down. No way for consistent characters (yet) when there are other open source options that are cheaper for this. And you're still going to have to waist 2-3 hours for a decent 60 second clip. Not even being able to generate sound effects etc. O1 pro is not a significant enough improvement over o1, just the unlimited use makes it worthwhile. Advanced voice is still missing the live vision from the demo. Which they'll probably release in the 12 days. Hopefully the next dalle drops with it also. The canvas update today was nothing significant and is available on the regular plan, so that doesn't move the needle. $200 is just not worth it for now, specifically since other companies are pushing things out for cheaper prices matching chatgpt every single day.
It says cant right now cuz it's busy. Seems like AI unlimited is like Verizon oh here yes unlimited but then we are going to slow you down. Runway def feels more specific for video generation solely and many options and sora cause they are giving LLM new updates etc innbundle its limited and is version 1 and sora has lots limits cuz this version is limited for video
Whats the censorship like? ive heard its strict on celebs and Characters with IP, one creator couldnt even use a captain sparrow which he generated with AI ... oh lordy!
@@SkillLeapAI What is going on? i was trying to make a gangster mini movie in MJs new editor and literal guns in hands were getting rejected? the original editor accepts the gun prompts??? Everything is getting messy.
Now I am TOTALLY sure that all the "VIDEO LEAKS", allegedly generated by SORA... a few days ago, was totally on purpose leaked by Open AI ... With that, they did Hype and Advertising, viral ... so people start talking again about SORA ... but of course nobody can generate now the quality of videos from those Demos and Leaked videos... because of course, those video leaks conveniently don't show any of the text prompts nor we know how much image to video were used, so people can't try now the same and compare the generations. Very shady and dishonest move from Open AI. And KLING AI still the best
Minimax is WAAAYYYY better than Runway lol so is Kling. You must not really have good taste for creativity with AI video creation. Either you're born with a good eye for AI video creation (Minimax) or you're not.(Runway)
With a $200 monthly plan, I would expect to be a movie director making longer videos that actually make sense.
200 gets u heaps of fast credits but even when they run out uu can keep making videos its just slower. is that not the same as the 20dollar plan?>

Great video - thanks. Based on your opinion I will wait for a subsequent release
Great video and overview, very helpful before I mess with this myself. Thanks!!
I’m glad it was useful!
It's really necessary to watch review videos like yours before deciding whether to subscribe!thank you !
Can you ask chatgpt to upgrade other model as well?
A bit underwhelming to be honest, after all the hype they created around Sora for 10 months!
Yea for sure
Waiting the next version with Better quality and voices added

Yea I think it’s more of a stock video creator than anything you can make a full movie with

Great recap
Nice video. Looks like runway ml seems better 😅
Toy AIs are here and go tomorrow.
It’s more worth 50$/month. 200$ has to be much much better and more coherent
Sora took a lot of time to be release! the cheapest were released earlier! they are improving ! Too late for Sora! $200 is way expensive!!!!

I find the glitches entertaining….

I Looked at the Chinese version of Sora, makes Sora worth $2 if not less.😅..i have the $20 gpt subs btw.
Meh, certainly not worth $200/month
Obviously yeah but it has so much potential. It's also pretty good considering it's the first version of the model

I believe open ai will fall, like yahoo did. I say that to say I still don’t have access and may be mad, with my $20 plan
Chat GPT was not worth the 20 dollar price so I dumped it. Its CERTAINLY not worth 200 dollars LOL. Open AI is the past, as far as I'm concerned.

I’ll reply to this in two year and see how it went
