Nice playing by the way, I forgot to say that in my last post. This demo was really cool in that you just took your time and showed everybody what this beautiful beautiful amplifier can do. One last thing that I do also is that I jumper the channels I go from the high and put on the normal to the low input on the top boost side and then I plug my guitar into the high and put on the top Booth side. Sounds so cool and you can dial the normal channel in to bring up the bottom in order to shape to sound even more.

Best demo of the AC15HW1 on RUclips. I've been searching for a vid where the Top Boost tone controls were manipulated. I too have this amp and wanted to compare tone settings to see if I had a tube or capacitor needing replacement. Thank you for the smooth jams!

Man, I couldn't wait to get them out of my SG! They sound fantastic in that LP

I have the very same amp and I absolutely love it! The harmonic overtones, the gain structure, the chime and the cleans are just unreal. What I did with mine though was I bought a pair of NOS mullard power tubes, EL84's from the early 60s, and then I installed some mullard ecc83's from the early sixties also and that was a game-changer! You got to get that Chinese glass or Russian glass out of these amps and then they come alive! And that Celestion blue bulldog I mean come on!

Nice to hear a demo that doesn't sound like a lame session musician. Cheers, it sounds great!

Great demo! I have this amp and love it! That Blue sounds really sweet with the Les Paul. And it will only get better, the more you play it!

SWEET! And I like the curly cord, if they were good enough for Jimi, they are good enough for me.

What kind of pick ups do you have in that Les Paul. It sounds incredible

Thanks dude. They are the stock pickups from a 94 studio, 498T/490R

***** I've thought about "upgrading" over the years, that's the only thing I could have left to change, but the stock ones sound good and versatile, so I probably won't mess with it. Hopefully I'll eventually be able to get another Les Paul or 5 :)

Great video. Have you compared to the AC4 hand wired?

Mr. J No I'd love to though! I have the regular AC4 and it's a great amp.

There are no stores around here and I am struggling to decide which one to buy AC4HR or AC15HR. I want it for apartment use. Is 7.5W too loud?

@jmaccess in case you still need to know six years later lol....yes 7.5 watts is way to loud. If you're talking about being able to open it up that is. Of course any amp at all can be to loud when cranked.

@@jordanpratt3821 Hi. I finally went for the AC15HR with Alnico Blue speakers. I use it at home in the 7.5 wats mode and 15w in gigs. It sounds really great
