literally the most unpopular opinion on earth but TASM2 is my favorite spiderman movie (no way home is close) just because i like the green goblin design and the swinging and teh sauit is amazing but mostly the cool slow mo cgi and the theme
It is very unpopular but I can see why u like it, I think the movie a bit over hated, bc there’s some good things in the movie that is actually enjoyable like Andrew, his character, the on and off romance between peter and Gwen which was done wayyy better than how it was done with Peter and mj in the rami movies, the movie ending is emotionally heart wrenching, electro was a very misunderstood villain and I don’t think a-lot of people understood why or how he turned bad. People say it’s bc spider man forgot his name but it’s actually much more complex than that. Also tasm 2 and tasm 1 still to this day has some of the best visuals to ever be captured in a spider man movie the over all cinematography, fight sequences and especially the web swinging.
It’s weird how there was time everyone hated Andrew’s spidey, yet he was always the most faithful. Spidey fans were just blinded by what TASM1 was trying to accomplish with Peter due to the attachment of the Rami trilogy, which I do get and I still adore those movies. But I think TASM, at least the first go round did a really dope job redoing the orgin, but also adding a modren twist to it that builds to a Peter Parker/Spider-Man we know and love. TASM1 has been my favourite spidey flick since 2012 and still is, and Andrew is my favourite spidey. Great video man, it’s nice to hear more people who actually get it and love it to.
