Eva, watching you work is like a dance. If something doesn’t work, like the eyelets on the cover because they kept falling out, you just find a way to make them stay and grab your scissors and push them in to stay. You’re like a McGivor, a TV Show in Canada where the main man’s name is McGivor in the story, and he can fix anything by cutting, getting a piece of wood, putting it where he needs to build what he needs, makes it, and Ta Da, he’s built a whole bridge. This journal it’s truly fascinating. You are a paper genius!!!😮❤❤❤
I stayed until the end, Eva, and I've made this album along with you! It was amazing and so much fun to put together; I'm so proud of it! I did a couple of things differently--I used black sari silk ribbon to wrap around for the closure (the threads on the ribbon match all of the thread ends from the sewn parts of the album), and I did two paper spines rather than one with a window, but for the most part it is close to what you made (I had to improvise a few times when I did something backward, for instance). I do plan on incorporating your window ideas into another journal. For those who are thinking about making this album: Eva's tutorial is a master class in journal and book making. I can't recommend it highly enough. SO MANY great ideas and techniques, and her freebie papers are wonderful. It was a lot work, great fun, and the end result is deeply satisfying. Eva, thank you so much! I'm looking forward to following your other tutorials!
This has been a most excellent tutorial. It's clear you invested a lot of time in it. You are appreciated ever so much. The book is fantastic...an absolute work of art....and the ton of goodies you made to go with it is SO INCREDIBLE. I just love how you utilize every tiny scrap...inspiring. Thank-you Eva. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you Eva I have to say this tutorial has ben the best one that iv seen in a long time you get to the point and have everything ready and you explain everything very well I just wanted to tell you that 😀
Wow, thank u so so much, for not only your generosity for giving us the freebies, but also for all the time and effort it must have taken to put this all together. Your a fantastic teacher, and this really was a masterclass in creating a junk journal. Thank you again xoxo
Wow! I have been with you for the entire “Halloween” journey & feel kinda sad that we’re finished. Everything looks amazing & beautiful! Your talent knows no boundaries! It flows right on thru … and inspires the ones of us with our jaws dropped to the floor! I am forever impressed with how you select just the right items & colors & structure to get the most from each tiny little bit. And place them ever so brilliantly thru the pages & pockets - to tell an amazing story! Please be happy this October - at least as happy as you have made us - by taking us along for the ride thru these pages! And THANK YOU for your generosity in sharing not only the downloads of gorgeous papers - but also your brilliant talent!
It was an absolute pleasure to “stay” with you through this whole series ❤ I love everything you do and look forward to all of your creations. Please keep sharing Eva you have a crafty following who love your work.
I enjoyed the project so much and one reason was that it was so long. 😁 I like these type of series very much. And the folio is phenomenal, thank you for the inspiration ❤️
Wow !!! this was a journey with you... I really liked seeing all the steps of this amazing project. This is at the same time really simple and very sophisticated... You explain things really clearly. Thanks a lot for filming all this and for the freebies!
Thank you so much Eva I really enjoyed watching these tutorials and the book is amazing! Your creativity astounds me. You are so generous with your time and effort you put into your journals, we are all so lucky to be able to watch and take inspiration from your amazing creations. Again a big thank you 🙏
Cheers Eva. Your creativity is inspirational along with the many endless ideas to really enhance all journal pages. Binged this series and a few other tutorials that I have missed. Your humour about the way you speak English is gorgeous. Take care thank you. Gwen:)
Eva, you are incredible! You always come up with new ideas, are meticulous about the details, and pace your video perfectly with the right amount of instruction for those of us with less creativity. I am in awe and I just love watching you work. (By the way, your English is wonderful, I understand you perfectly.) Happy crafting. 💖🇨🇦
You are so talented, your way of decorating and details are beyond spectacular, I watched the whole series and have rewatched it a second time. Your way of teaching and explaining everything is unbelievable, you are one of a kind for sure Love love your videos. Please keep up this phenomenal channel.
I did enjoy this series very much, Eva. Thank you so much for this series. I had all the papers printed out today to start making mine. You are such an inspiration in this junk journal community and you are such a joy to watch. I will be watching this series a few more times as I make my folio, I hope mine comes out half as good as yours did.
I would love if you could show how you made the flip book for the decorated mini envelopes. I loved this tutorial as the Halloween lover I am. Thank you for everything you inspire and share with us.
I absolutely love your tutorials Eva. I don't do Halloween but I think this folio would look really good with Medieval papers too so that's my next project. I just have to use a bit of imagination to make the decoration and ephemera like you do! Thank you so much xx
Wow, wow, I just watched the entire series of you making this. All I can say is Wow!!!! I just joined your patron group. You’re a very special artist. ❤️❤️
This is hole thing is absolutely amazing Eva! Thank you so much for this entire tutorial, it’s wonderful! I’m excited to see what you will come up with next! 🥰🎃🎃
Eva, as I come to the end of the construction of my journal, I had a thought, is there Anything more versatile than the humble book page?? It has taken me a year but I think I will finish it this year!! Thank you so much for all your shared experiences!! I learned an awful lot from following along and making your journal.
=) i was wondering if that elastic would fit over the skull. Love the skull. I think if you had a large black button, under the circle that would feel more stable to you?
LOVED THIS! I watched the final flip-through first. I know, I was cheating. Now I am motivated to watch the other videos. So glad to be a Patreon now. Thanks for the continued inspiration. (‾◡◝)
I hope I’ll find time to watch all those videos again and make the folio too, I will have to adjust it a little bit, because I must have at least 1-2 signatures for writing in everything I make.
4 folded papers in each quarter inch gap is what is fitting really well 😉 I made it for Christmas Santa Post Office journal. Will make flip through soon 💖 Thank you so much Hana for watching. I hope you did enjoyed this tutorial . Big hugs xxx
I don’t do Halloween at all but loved this series because you can use any paper. I am wondering when you added the brads to the front and back covers? That part wasn’t on the video. You truly are an incredible artist.
@@BohemianCrafting Gracious yes. How did I miss that?! I watched the entire video intently. LOL. I'm getting old. Still amazing folio! I will try a couple of your techniques I learned from this one. This was a GREAT tutorial!
I did good until I got to the spine. The finished size is is 2-3/4 (4 minus 5/8 on each side) and the insert is 2-1/4 so the book doesn’t lay flat. What am I doing wrong?? Thank you so much for all the work you put in, I’m planning on making lots for my family! I really appreciate you doing this, it was a lot of work and you are so gifted.
Never mind! I ripped it apart twice when I realized the cardboard was too thick! I made the spine with tyvek, a Manila folder and covered in copy paper and that did the trick! It’s perfect now! Thank you for all you do!

Thank you. I am really happy you like this. The adding brads starts at 28:50 showed one side in video, than off the camera made the rest😉
