I’m actually quite surprised how pretty Bucharest seems. It has a very romantic charm. I might visit after this coronavirus madness is over. Greetings from Budapest 😊

Viktor Orban said Bucharest is impressive today, compared to 2 decades ago, but the Hungarian journalists are mocking it. Although it has the same GDP at least as Budapest.
Now I can pretend to travel there ^^ my western eu family doesn't want to go to places like Romania cause of prejudices but I love the language and culture

It's a nice city when it's late spring/ summer and begining autom. Can't recommend it when it's late autum/ winter and start spring. It gets very grey..
Well a lot of the city was destroyed by communists. What you expect? Burgois villas everywhere?
@@user-mi4yc7pr3x Bucharest of the 30s was one of the best towns in the whole Europe. And very rich. ANyway, ALL THE TOWNS ARE GREY IN AUTUMN! If it rains.

I was born in RO but lived in USA for about 30 years but I still miss Romania! Romania is a beautiful country with beautiful people and very tasty food! I still go from time to time to visit but mostly in Cluj Napoca not Bucharest! Thanks for the video, it would've been perfect tho if you added some instrumental background music! I wish they keep the borders open and easy for travel in these times...

those are bigger cities bucharest isnt as big in area as them
50 km/h its legal limit for speeding but all Romanians goes 60s even 70 with no problem.

There are many short people in Romania. They treat better short guys than giants from what I saw.

It is because of the sovietic influence. The soviets had this blocky grey architecture, and since 80% of the blocks across the entire country were built during that time, it stuck with us to this day

Not really, it was filmed during Covid lockdown. Normal traffic is much worse.
@@Niculpa that's why I'm never using my car during the daytime and use the tram and metro, or even the bike (wich is very dangerous)

Haha, never m8. Budapest is better than most western capitals and very cheap. Budapest is maybe 50 years ahead of bucharest, and in my opinion I dare to say is evern better than Vienna and Prague
Romania in the next decade will be in top 10 in Europe and Hungary in top 50 HAHA
