You can pause it. At least offline play. Open menu, choose "help" and then "explanation" as long as the sub menu is up the world pauses.
I forgot about this!
Dont forget you can use the golden vow ash of war for "free". Its slightly worse than the incant but you can just slap it on a dagger for no stat requirements
It seems like it would be a simple issue of disabling pause when being invaded. They've shown the ability to have things be different depending on if you're being invaded or not.
It's not something I care one way or the other because I've been playing these games since 2014 so it's something I've learned to deal with just like the thing about big enemies being able to hit you through walls but they're both things they should work toward even if I'm not gonna bat an eye if the next game doesn't fix the issues.
As a parent i just dont understand why parenting is a consideration for devs at all. In my view, whether i lose some progress in the process of taking care of my kids... I mean seriously it doesn't matter.
If my kids need help then nothing about the game matters. I'll just stop playing, and the only thing that would prevent me from stopping would be someone else being available to help my kids, thus my assistance is no longer required.
I feel like the only "accessibility" feature for gamer parents would be for a dev to personally come to my house and babysit my kids while I play 😂.. anything else is basically wasted effort on their part, bc it doesn't matter.
