    Paul's spontaneous laughter at Seton's description of where the Whitey Herzog interview went off the rails cracks me up every time I hear it.

    • @ltcdanielbrown8761
      @ltcdanielbrown8761 6 лет назад +1

      Devin Higgins which is funny because you normally think of Seton’s laugh as the best one lol Paulie lost it lol so good

    • @DevinJHiggins
      @DevinJHiggins 6 лет назад +1

      Oh no doubt. When Seton cracks up, it's one of the best parts of the show, but because Paulie is so damn stoic all the time, when he loses it that's even better because of it's rarity.

      It's also cuz its on video and he's looking right at Seton

    Please revist more interviews from the past. I loved the Charlie Sheen week. He was remarkable. I wish I could get that entrenched, that passion to go full on crazy. Full on Charlie Sheen.

    Man I remember that Whitey Herzog interview well. I was traveling by car from Texas to Indiana and was listening live. I had to stop for gas but didn't want to miss a second of the interview it was classic and if I wasn't stopped I might have ran off the road. The best part of the deal was the banter between Dan and Rich Eisen after the interview. In the end, he pretended to upset and quoted/imitated Whitey telling Dan he had had enough and had to go......I was rolling....Classic!

    I remember Whitey Herzog doing the same to Marv Albert in the 80's on a live pre-game show. Marv asked a fun, lighthearted question, and Whitey said sternly, "Now you're just trying to be cute, Marv." Haha...

    The best interview of all time is Dan & commissioner Stern discussing NBA players leaving the benches to join brawls. That sound is nowhere to be found.

    The Whitey is more cringe because either he had no idea what was in his own book, or he’s a confused old man.
    Tonya is cringy for her, but hilarious for everyone else. And completely in line with her character.

    I don't see the Tonya interview as cringe-worthy. Maybe for Dan and the others involved in the interviewing process. I had to hold back my laugh since I was at working listening. The Whitey one is cringe worthy though.

    • @Inessence4
      @Inessence4 6 лет назад +1

      Not really. She still maintains she didn't know. She just overheard them talking about maybe doing something and yelled at them about it. "I can skate!"

    • @folzyfantasy15
      @folzyfantasy15 4 года назад +3

      I think the interview happened well before the 30 for 30. I think they said it was in 2004. Which he was explaining he was with 'the Mothership' (ESPN) so it would make a lot of sense since the 30 for 30 was well later.

    ....and this is why I gave up on sports talk radio years ago. Athletes with communicative skills of a brick. And with Patrick I got tired of hearing him say "according to my source". And hearing him suck up to hollywood celebs. But the worst was hearing Seton laugh like a school girl over nothing.
