Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and best known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Prior to joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed “The Colbert Report,” which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one third of the time. Good luck, Bill!" - Развлечения
I would totally watch a show of her just reading book titles. Her voice is amazing!
i wish she was the voice narrating pivotal moments in my life.
An English woman asking an American guy how to pronounce the "correct" English word.
She could make reading a dictionary aloud hot
Her mannerisms are so adorable what the fuck.
Her voice is the cure for some disease... I just know it. My goodness...
OMG she is .... (insert flattering words that are complimentary and fully cover how unbelievably attractive she is ... I'm gonna rewatch video quick)
when she said sex and flexibility i almost died of lust
The things she does to my Bone Town.
I LOVE her sense of humour. Keep seeing video after video of her just being herself... humourus, and fun. It's intoxicatingly attractive.
Her voice is just perfect
Addictive, Enchanting, Fantasy, Enrapturing, Charming. Holy crap that voice.
Carriage Ride To Bone Town is the original story that 50 Shades was based on. True story.
+ndgv2 sadly, it's worse than that... it was adapted from Twilight fan-fiction...
Her voice is like melting chocolate. Oh god, what an attractive woman.
She was also fantastic in Emma a few years back. Look it up!
I adore her voice! :o
I'm sorry. I know she probably said something meaningful, but all I heard was, "Sexy sexy sexy something sexy sexy..." Anyone got a transcript?
That voice, that face, that personality...damnn
Love this!
Not even stephen can resist her charm. ive seen him hold back with just about every other lady on the show
I thought it was agreed that Stephen flirts with everyone?
yeah, not only is she super pretty, attractive but she's on the same level of intelligence with steven. i think that makes it even more attractive for him. but it's only a guess.
its early in the morning in my Bone town.. if you know what i mean.
My god that accident,😍😍😍😍
accident
+gold lol autocorrect
That voice...
Kate Beckinsale is perfection.
She's 42. How???
I love how Stephen stacked the books
Wonderful
If she voiced the audio books of all those novels, I'd probably listen to them all.
+DioOmicida there are 2 audio books by her
+Goody Goody WHICH ONES TELL ME NOW
+Juan Pablo Munoz :) "Romeo and Juliet", "Emma"
Excuse me a moment...gotta pick up my eyeballs off the floor. Perfection.
This reminds me of Conan's "coffee table books that didn't sell"
Lol got the trailer for the movie as an ad before this video 😂
She is so funny & adorable
......and zombies
Kate Beckinsale is pretty much the perfect woman.
+Cnith sure, if you are also in the market for a footstool.
+TheDidactsHand If the footstool is as stunning as she is... Yeah, I can do that.
She should be the GPS voice haha
God Kate is perfect
I LOVE HER
I've heard of Lady Susan
I love her.
IDK what’s sexier, her voice or her looks.
I'm psyched, because Lady Susan is the only Jane Austen novel I actually like(besides the Fast and the Furious of course)!
I don't know who she is but I love her
WAIT, SHE'S 43 YEARS OLD?!
Don't matter, still love her
+Brian S (BrianAlanVH) Because she's 43, not 23.
+Brian S (BrianAlanVH) She's had, um, work done. Just Google up her older pictures and the difference is pretty obvious. Still love the way she talks though.
Brian S Not just younger but very 'puffed' up. Cheeks, chin, lips. Definitely had some injections lately.
I refuse to believe someone can be that beatuiful!
I normally hate AMSR videos, but her voice is the only thing that has that effect on me.
Exquisite dame.
Disney PLEASE put her to do one of your live action movies that you're doing so very well right now. Or at least voice over work T_T
Is there a reverb effect on her mic?
the last one: take me to the bone zone
She needs to be the voice of an evil artificial intelligence on a spaceship in some sci-fi horror movie. A new HAL.
+Joseph Charles Like a British GLaDOS
***** A difference of opinion? On an opinion so trivial it's a waste of time to even defend? I must say I didn't expect this from the Internet.
***** It's hard to disagree with something that makes no sense, but, sure, I'll pretend I get what your word salad means and just say I disagree.
+Joseph Charles I think it's a great idea. The original is pretty windy and a re-do might make it more palatable, and a female choice fits in the Hollywood trope of the ""ol switcheroo" for modern audiences.
I can't stop looking at her, who is this girl???
Beckinsale dream girl
Prejudice and More Prejudice XD
What's see done to her face
I actually didn't like this bit at all, until she said the last one. her excitement to shout that one out and the smile was so great! up until then I thought this was just a really awkward segment with bad segways haha.
"A woman and A HORSE" What the fvck? I've understood that reference
She's 43?? 😱😱😱
she seems uncomfortable
+victor martone i think thats intentional cause she wanted to be funny
+iamanoldblanket she also speaks fluent Russian. She is so smart, almost anything would be beneath her...
She gets extremely annoyed or tired at 2:06
Why'd she look so uncomfortable after "lather"?
Michael Sheen screwed up REALLY bad. how do you let a woman like that go?
Nah. He's with Sarah Silverman. Good trade...
The Seamstress and the Muffin Top
Ide take kate right to the gooey center of bonetown
she is a goddess
Did they literally have to turn her mic all the way up because she speaks so softly?
listen to her "audio" compared to stephens. All that white noise, and shes still quiet as a bird.
Wow Colbert is being really weird towards her in this interview, between the comment about the trousers and getting in the horse with her. When he recommends she try "lathering" I love how she says "I think I'm going to" (wash herself after the extremely weird interview!)
Some women get hotter with age. Halle Berry, Kate Beckinsale. OK maybe just 2.
Yeah it must be some hard being paid millions to stay looking stunning. I'm finding it hard to feel sorry for these spoiled celebrities.
She is incredibly hot
So hot
She is one of my long-standing fantasies. Cold Comfort Farm... Mmmmm.
Totally - and shooting fish...
Sploosh
I really hated the movie but i had to watch it because Kate was in it.was disapointed by the wardrobe tho
her fucking accent is gorgeous. 😍💦
+gold SO is her regular accent
GEEZUS!! even this lame skit she made it SEXY!!
Ms Beckinsale is very lovely, but it's obvious that comedy is not her bag.
With the exception that her father was a famous comedic actor.
Unfortunately for her, comedic delivery is not hereditary.
+Larque Fausse
Comedy is for ugly people.
+Various Curious That's more unfortunate for the good looking people in the world than it is for the funny.
Grothendick
Everything in the world is about sex, good looking people get laid, ugly people need to be funny to get laid.
Kate Beckinsale is so feminine that she could drive a man ''crazy''. Fr. Nietzsche called the woman writer George Sand a ''milky cow''. Also O. Weininger in his work Sex And Character called George Sand a masculine woman and Frédéric Chopin a feminine man.
Mmm. Too much 'work' methinks...
+Tony Gray Yep, she ruined her face :(
this is a lame intvw though
I'm afraid Stephen is correct in pronouncing "lathering."
Buenomars - only if you are not speaking with a "posh" English accent. Kate's way is standard RP English.
I laughed as heck, but I just had to press dislike. Making Jane Austen sound like a bodice-ripper authoress is not cool!
***** If you mean Love and Friendship and her other juvenilia, they'e obviously satires of the then-popular Gothic novels. Also, no bodice ripping ever happens in any Jane Austen work early or late.
***** Those are just different quotes from different parts of the book taken out of context and plastered together to give a different meaning. Clever, but ultimately fake
***** Not at all actually. She's an interesting character but her role was rather small. And it was clear that the narrator preferred Franny's principled character to Mary's calculating one. A preference that I shared
***** I don't feel sorry for her, but I do feel sorry for you lot who can't see mischief and liveliness in anything that's not sexual. Austen's great genius lies in her being able to write gripping stories about mundane everyday social interactions.
"He must marry his boring cousin and enrich the world with dreadful sermons and inbred children."
If this is your view on the subject, that's alright. You're entitled to your own opinion. But if you really think this was Austen's view, you couldn't be more wrong. Austen obviously sided with Edmund's and Fanny's ethical views rather than Mary's flirting and calculations. She didn't side with Mary anymore than she did with Lydia Bennet.
***** Don't be such a smart ass. Of course Austen writes about romantic love, and therefore, also about sexual attraction. But she judges dishonest, calculating flirts like Mary Crawford. Her ethical stance is blatantly clear in her writing.
I resent comparing Austen to bodice-rippers because the latter use erotic scenes cheaply to thrill readers. Austen writes about mundane everyday things and even includes pages upon pages of characters' inner dialogue and ethical discussion. What her characters do at night is not of great concern for her. She cares more about what goes on inside their heads.
