    legend. A conductor, film composer, jazz pianist, concert pianist and contemporary music composer all at the same time. It would be a huge honor to master even just one of any, but this man managed to be all of them at the highest level

      I’ve become a huge fan of Andre Previn. Did you watch and listen to his interview with Oscar Peterson? Wonderful! It also displayed his personality and skill talking with a fellow musician.

    This must have been a favourite work of Previn's. His interpretation is among the best by far. Incidentally Strauss wanted to conduct this on his last visit to London in 1947 but limited resources just after the second world war denied the composer the opportunity.
