Excellent video, General! This one might even be my favorite episode so far. I had no idea about those Hing Fat Australians, but the quality is actually pretty damn good. I have also heard good things about Expeditionary Force's Australians, but then again those might be a bit too big for Airfix. I once heard Matchbox was originally going to upscale their 1/72 WWII ANZAC Infantry Set for the 1/32 Market. They were never able to complete that- a shame because the poses were absolutely excellent. Looking forward to future episodes. This is easily my favorite hobby channel on RUclips. All the best man!
Thank you good Hector!! Warning, you will have to trim your Hing-Fat weapons on all your figures. I forgot to mention this important detail. Yes EX Force is too big. Sad. And YES, Matchbox had plans to release their greatest sculpts the Australians and Japanese in 1:32 but at the last minute canceled! That really sucks!! Those would have been an Epic, Classic Set!!!!!!
Great to see the Plastic General back! I only just noticed that the Airfix Bren gunner has the spare parts wallet for the gun on his belt. Airfix often used to throw in the odd little touch of authenticity like that. 😊
Once again, absolutely incredible conversion work! Such great and dynamic poses that really compliment the original sets/round off poses the squad needs!
Also! The HING FAT guys look like they mixed in the Airfix australians with the Airfix Gurkhas! For future expansion/conversions of the Aussies/Kiwis you should look into the Gurkhas and their quality knock-offs.
@@ThePlasticGenerala lot of the more unique poses from the Hing Fat Guys are similar to the Airfix Gurkhas, especially the bren gun poses. I have also seen old hong-kong made Airfix clones for em! (Just not sure of what the brand is sorry)
Great Job you Drongo! You look good bro, nice haircut, the jungle atmosphere agrees with you. . We can’t wait for your figures! That new collaboration sounds great, I teethed on M*A*S*H. Make it happen Captian🤓
Thank you, CA, for another incredible video! Loved your stern Aussie command accent. Also loved factory painted idea. Those are much better than self-painted figs for give away to kids who like to play with their toys in the tub (flaking enamel PTSD). Looking forward to future shows and to acquiring your new sculpts. MASH was great show, but I'm not interested in 1/32 medics and ambulances. Fighting poses, action poses, that's what I want. Docs and minesweepers very important in war, they just don't make good toy soldiers.
Mules used in the Chindit columns had their vocal chords cut to prevent their braying divulging their location ... don't know if Aussies did the same. Love the hat!
Great . Nice that you done these figures and battle . Big part of Pacific War . I not sure how you feel about them but a like the Timpo range some of my first figures in 1/32
Love the P General. Looking forward to the next episode. Would be great if you could do a tutorial on how you make your full size replica guns. I made a full size Sten after watching one of your videos, but having seen the real thing recently, its not quite as realistic as I would of liked.
Poses chosen by manufacturers were always an issue for me. Even as a kid I only wanted poses that were showing weapon aiming front, maybe a throwing hand grenade, an officer pointing or looking through binoculars, maybe one standing guard and a couple crawling. I hated any that were running, looking back or doing any weird stuff that I couldn't use in a play battle.
Thank you for asking. The running time for the episode was 31 min, if I was to have gone threw all 18 poses of the Japanese the running time would have been way too high. I'm going to cover them in a quick turn around episode where I also feature the Japanese hospital. Maybe I'll call it BANZI HOSPITAL!
Plastic General Sir! ( saluting) with all due respect when presenting the figures for review, the generals giant kiwi is the only thing in focus. Enjoyed your video as always ,Sir.

Expeditionary force does some Australians. They may be in a slightly different scale though.
Yes, sadly that makes them semi useless. But they are nice figures.
Awesome!!!! Nothing out there like it!!! Keep um comin!!!
Thanks!! See you again in 2 weeks!!

Missed these types of videos bro. So glad you're back! Can't wait to buy your figures and do a review on my channel.
Thanks man, ya, it's a precarious project. Long Live TOYS!!!!!!
Nice to see a model with the overlooked Owen gun in your thumbnail too
I Love my Owen Gun!!! It was a pleasure to make too!
Long Live the General!!!

Another great video😊
Thank you!!!
Great episode!
Thanks, it was a tedious pain in the butt to shoot! I'm happy with the end product.
Excellent, I liked very much the Bren standing pose
Thanks, that's an easy one. I ran out of spare figures, otherwise I would have come up with way more!
I think i caught malaria watching this one!

Great episode as usual. Any thoughts on doing some Finns?

AGREED!! Each pose should be a useful as a chess piece!
Was the Japanese canon your own you made?
Great video, I send my regards as the PlasticSargent!
Yes! it is 1:32 and was designed by my friend who would take orders for them.
Awesome
Thankx!!
Owen was only about 16 when he came up with the design, and when he went to war he left it in a sack in his dads shed
Yes, there was a detail like that. In the end he made very little money for his design.
Why can’t you make some Australians!? Why didn’t you show the Japanese? So many questions doc! I love it! Thanks for the great video

@@ThePlasticGeneral what kind ?
@@Angrytroopershow A movie producer starts shooting the Plastic General movie this January! I know, Crazy! But it's real.
You may or may not know the mules had their vocal cords cut during later campaigns so as not to make any noise.
This fact made me laugh out loud!
Japanese TSD does nice figure there is one more I have can’t remember the manufacturer
There are about 15 different sets of Japanese!
What happened to the museum/ art gallery?
I'm there almost every day!
For weapons some manufacturers of Airsoft guns make WW2 replicas like the sten grease gun MP40 M1 Garand Lee enfield etc. But they are not cheap
I love making my prop guns, for me it's part of the process. The only replica I have is a beat up old MP-40.
I am thinking about buying a 1:35 scale German ambulance, should I buy it, or is it too small?
@@ThePlasticSargent don't do it! Buy the 132 FOV one instead.
