I thought I would like to try growing turmeric and it took 40 days to sprout into a plant and from what I have read it will take 9 months of tropical weather when it will be ready to harvest, it is a very cool looking plant. Anybody ever try Turmeric tincture? I have some and it is quite tasty.

Most Diffusers generate Heat. Heat damages sensitive compounds within essential oils. That is why i use a Nebulizer. Nebulizers do Not generate heat to diffuse, No Heat at all, so with a nebulizer you wont be damaging some of those execellent compounds as a nebulizer will provide you every bit of any oil you put in it.
Dr. Axe, I have watched several of your videos on essential oils. I noticed you do not have a lot of the oils you are educating us on, so how do I know if I am purchasing a safe product? I found a product that states it is USDA certified organic, but it does not recommend ingesting without a doctor. My doctor is not going to help me with this.
There are many essential oils that are labeled Organic, but can only be used topically. Your local Health Food Store can advise you on which oils can be used as a Dietary Supplement, and will be labeled as such. Hope this helps.

itsmegiancarlo- It's great to use Turmeric powder in foods and digest - turmeric in general is a great anti-inflammatory. You can buy empty capsules at any health food store to put the powdered version in the caps or buy turmeric already in capsules & swallow. HOWEVER, if you listen carefully to Dr. Axe when he describes how the ORGANIC, WILD CRAFTED TURMERIC OIL W/ CO2 EXTRACT has the smallest nano particles that will pass the blood-brain barrier (good) that is the strongest and best way to get it into your body. LISTEN AT THE 4:00 mark, he explains the nano particles - which I have been seeing in a lot of liquid medicinales as an excellent way to get it into your entire body. Also, think about what you are looking to cure, if it's joint/muscle pain you just need a drop or 2 of turmeric oil and rub it onto the area of pain or injury. The powdered spice will not be as strong as the essential oils, you can make a paste of it to apply - Dr. Axe has a short video on making it. Although it won't ever reach or get as deeply into you as essential oils do. I think he explains it better, maybe just give it another listen, especially when he starts describing his numbered list. I made a rub with aloe, tumeric, ginger, peppermint, wintergreen and clove. As far as I know, steam distillation is better than CO2 extraction.
Don't need mix process . Simple use turmeric powder . In hot soop and cury hot milk.
