Oh! Poor little rascal. Banana eyes? My grandsons haven't had that yet, hives are just 80 feet from the house. Thanks for sharing, I'll be sharing it with them so they don't argue with me about wearing veils in the bee yard :) All the best! I'm glad he can still see :)
Thanks for checking in Fred and totally veils are important!
Laurel was gone the day this happened and she came back to him looking like that and grinning from ear to ear. Not my finest moment
@@kamonreynolds We have a responsibility to provide humor for our spouses :)
Awe! Feel better quickly! Such a sweet lil guy! God bless you!
What an adorable, tough little guy you have! Y’all have a great sense of humor too!
I expected him to say "Yo Adrian". He's a tough little guy though! Thanks for sharing and for all your help!
Well played Jimmy😊
Such a trooper Jimmy!! Super cute little guy! 🐝
So sorry sweet boy! Thanks for sharing.
Poor little guy lol. He is a little tuff guy. Keep up the amazing work guys y'all are amazing
Thanks so much! He loves bees and honey!
Jimmy! You have the cutest banana eyes I've ever seen!!
Hope they recover quickly. ❤
Aww poor guy! Was it a face sting or systematic reaction? I would look very funny going into work with banana eyes!
My Apiary is 100yds from House... Ive had those eyes a few times lol ... Enjoy those Bees!!
Wow,, how adorable!! Poor little guy! Banana. eyes!
Brave little fella.
Poor Jimmy! He’s still as cute as ever though.
Ouch . He is a tough guy. Still smiling.
Wow he looks like Laurel at least from the nose down. Have to wait on the eyes. He will have a chance and not “one in a million”.
Jimmy is so cute... even with banana eyes! He's a trooper, won't let this slow him down.
Love his smile! Our son took 2 to the same side of his face a few weeks back, he was the Elephant Man for about 2 days. 😂
he so cute and brave...
What happens when she gets to the eyeball?
FYI, your Live chat says Unavailable 🤷♀ I ran out of time to watch last night and now it says it's gone :(
Aghww poor lad!
I'm sorry this happened!!! Also known as a "Yappy Eye"!!!! Have a great weekend!!!!
My hives are about 100 ft from my house, but the bird (bee) bath is 6 ft from the house. Convenient as I have to fill the bee bath daily as they are thirsty bees. I constantly get on a collision course with the bees when walking between their hives and the bee bath. Never been stung yet, but often get “splashed” in the head when they run into me.
He’s a good sport about it. And it’s hard to give Up bee space
Super trooper. Getting stung will happen. He took it well.
Jimmy has grown so much since you’ve had him on a video! I’m definitely sorry they got him.
What a champ. Keep up the smiles Jimmy!
Oh my gosh, Jimmy is so freaking adorable!
It's called hives my dear boys. I keep an epi pen for myself.
Over protecting children is just as bad as under protecting them, this little man seems like growing up just right 😊
Exactly!
Oh bless his lil pea pickin heart! We've all been there Jimmy! Yes..I had a beware of bees sign in my drive before. Had a hot hive. FedEx driver couldn't read I guess. She parked right in front of THAT hive..left the motor running..and commenced to slamming stuff around..doors boxes etc. Not good. I did get rid of the hive. When I say hot I mean HOT!
Jimmy is super cool!
That is a strong 💪 boy!! The wife’s do make some good points😊
High ✋ little man! Welcome to the club😁
Now You're officially a beekeeper
Oh boy he won't forget that... Probably good for him over all .. I had to postpone a fishing trip once because I couldn't see to drive
Holy smokes!
Ouch. Bless his heart
He looked so happy, what a lovely lad.
He is a honey eating machine!
Obviously gets his good looks from his mom
No doubt!
What a nice son to have this chat with you........don't forget to do what all the "mission impossible" messages say......."this message will self-destruct is 5 seconds", or you'll be watching this one day with your grandchildren. 😉 Have a great weekend!!!
Mine are about 80 feet from my house... so far, no problems.
He is a champ. If my kids get stung, I get treated like I did it! - on purpose!
Happens to me ...A LOT lol
Way to be a good sport Jimmy!
what a great personality! FUN!!
That's no fun. One of my daughter's stepped on one yesterday and is still complaining.
Tough trooper Jimmy💪🏼
Jimmy's pretty dang tough!
Ouch!! He is tougher than me I would be in rolled in a ball and crying lol!
My bees are 30 feet from my back door. No problem
Poor little fella! Seems to be in great spirits tho!
@Jimmy. Won't be long, you will be showing your kid what Grandpa looked like in his younger years!😢

He is a tough little guy! Growing up so fast
My dog just had banana eyes.
Aww, bless him...hope it doesn't hurt too much. I have some hives about 10 ft from my bedroom window. Have had them there for the past 5 years, although if I still had littles, I would probably move the bees to another yard.
Beekeeping makes me facially Beautiful at least once a season.
Its no fun for the 1st 5 min,, but after that.. its Halloween in June!!!
Haha Love it!
me my brother an cousin use to clap bees or stomp them barefoot when we were about 5-7yrs old,,TOUGH GUYS LOVE IT LOL
Kid looks a lot like you Kamon.
Poor kid!
Haha. I have mine about the same distance. They will get me every once in awhile. Luckily they haven't got me around the eyes.
One of my black bees came out of nowhere like a bullet and stung just by my eye, no time to brush it away. Be careful out there, stay safe, it could be worse. 😀
💖🙏💫
I got popped between the eyes 2 weeks ago when I was back back spraying sandburs within about 30’ of my meanest hive. Late afternoon and they were bearded in these triple digit Texas temps we’re in. I looked just like that. Feels really weird where your tear ducts are. Had a scorpion right next to my bare feet last night setting at the kitchen table. Had one crawl in my ear one night while sleeping and popped me a few times.
yikes 😮
fun with bees, glad he can joke about it
By the way you should always listen to your wife son.
🌺🌺🌺
Arghhhhhh 🥰🥰🥰
When i started keeping bees i had a sting to the eye and both swelled shut for 2 days.
So cute.
I share the feeling too, after trying to split my first caught swarm here where I live in France, even with a full (almost properly zipped up) bee suit, I got 20 hits..... Ow. Not too bad though. I've learned to zip the suit up properly now.
Lol ,the video title, that’s good one :)
Jimmy needs some ice cream! 😂
🥰🥰🥰🥰
I had this banana eyes, and ended up in the ED, with anaphylaxis
😊
So this is from a bee sting?
Yes he got stung on the cheek
I've got 7 hives about 20 feet from my backdoor and most of the time that is no problem at all, but I did get stung when mowing the grass the other day, right in the corner of my eye too, and looked the same way as your son for about 2-3 days. Having the hives that close is nice because I don't need to get in the car and drive, and I can always get equipment, feed, or whatever from the shed, but ideally I would prefer to have the hives maybe 60-100 feet away.
I'll take a bee sting any day vs mowing over a yellow jacket nest!
I would bet you a bottle of honey 24oz that if he gets stung again and you rush to pull the stingers out, put a small drop of your honey on the tip of your finger and rub into the stung area. It will stop it from any further swelling. I believe the medicinal properties in the honey will not reverse the swelling but it will stop it from going further
Got 2 in the ear earlier this year. Looked like a mma fighter with coliflower ear
Happens to yhe best of us !
Ouch. .
LOL! Welcome to the club young man. Shows how tough you are to get back up on that horse and keep smokin' bees.
