I had a Lancelot Link box when I was a kid.
I had the 90s Pokemon lunch box with the sandshrew thermos
I remember on Little House on the Prairie, the girls carried their lunches to school in actual round metal buckets- I guess that's why they call them lunch pails.
I still have a 1986 duck tales lunchbox
It's always some busy body mom who goes and ruins something fun.
i had the superman one
I saw my "Kung Fu" lunch box !

I had The Patridge Family.....now David Cassidy is dying.....this day has come full circle. #sad
My mother uses my old lunchbox to store her curtain hooks.
These are the lunch boxes I remember having from first through fifth grade:
First Grade: Speed Buggy
Second Grade: Drag Strip
Third Grade: Space: 1999
Fourth Grade: Peanuts
Fifth Grade: Star Wars
I can't remember which lunch box I had in the late 60s / early 70s. I do remember always getting orange drink to put in the thermos. But sadly one day, the glass inside broke while I was at school. I know glass is the best insulator for hot and cold. But it's too fragile for kids. They eventually switched the inside to plastic. They shouldve had it that way from the beginning. Lots cheaper to manufacture. All kids would have to do is throw a couple ice cubes in their drink before school or even during lunch. Anyway, I still remember crying my eyes out when I noticed the glass broke. Lunch lady saw and gave me a free milk. I remember how much milk was when I was in kindergarten in 1969. It was a nickle.
In my family we had a school lunchbox with "Curiosity Shop", that 1970s prime-time educational show, on it.
Whoa, I have that exact Peanuts lunchbox. Still have it.
I still have a spiderman and hulk lunch box. it's on my shelf. no thermus cup :(
I was one of the last. Had mine circa 1983-84. I see alot of things I use to use or have in an antique store now. Amazing how fast times changed. Wish I could see this museum. So many things arent made as well as they use to be.
I live in Florida i wish I was in Columbus goerga to see the lunchbox museum
