Oh that takes about 2 hours
      What next
*all the stations Isle of Man*

Came here from The Tim Traveler's channel.
Geoff's enthusiasm at getting a wave from the engineer reminded me of a childhood memory of waving to the weekly freight train , and having it STOP for me and my friends. Turns out the line was being decommissioned, and this was the last run . The engineer invited us to come aboard and ride to the next road crossing! It was a long mile's walk back, but 8 year old Me has never forgotten that day, and I'm now 63. Ah, those carefree 1960s!!

Just started to watch this adventure you've both had and am looking forward to check out all the footage.
In the early nineties I took a mate, who lives in the UK, across the whole length and breadth of the Netherlands by train in one day.
Obviously not all of the stations, but we hade a lot off fun. From Rotterdam at breakfast, along Breda, Eindhoven, Maastricht for lunch, Venlo, Nijmegen, Arnhem, Zwolle, Groningen, Leeuwarden, Amersfoort, Amsterdam for diner , The Hague and back in to Rotterdam ending with a pint in the pub.
