    Fantastic video; one question. Do you have to do this every time you want to play multiplayer? Or will RetroArch detect the controllers as long as you connect them to your Retroid via Bluetooth?

    Amazing! Is possibile connect 2 player with cable? For example to use with a controller for cabinet?

    Hi there, very useful video!
    A question not directly related, about the HDMI output control delay: I experienced obvious control delay when using HDMI output, compared with directly controlling on Retroid pocket 3+
    Do you experience it too? If so, how do u cope with it? I found the delay is too much for action games

      Have you set your TV to "game mode"?

    Hi there great video
    Is the process the same for the 8bitdo 2 bluetooth controller?
    And do you have to do the inputs thing for each emulator separately?

    • @8bitbongo
      @8bitbongo 4 дня назад

      Thanks! So the process should be the same for any bluetooth controller that can connect to an adroid device. Put it into pairing mode and find it under bluetooth settings on the RP3+. And yes, unfortunately you need to set up inputs for each emulator you use.

    Thanks for the video. I am about to pull the trigger on a RP3+, but before, I was wondering if you can do multiplayer using the RP3+ as a controller and one Bluetooth controller for multiplayer. I don't think that option was addressed in this video. Is that because it's not an option?
    Ideally, I would HDMI out to a monitor, use the RP3+ as my controller and friend would use a bluetooth controller. Can that be done?

      Good question, and yup you can definitely do that!

      @@8bitbongoim in the same boat. I tried going into retroid with PS5 controller but it keeps thinking the retroid buttons and PS5 are the same buttons. If I remap PS5, it remaps retroid… it fixes one but messed up the other 😢

    Hi, i love using the RP3+ for multi player gaming, recently i set it up with 2x 8bitdo controller to play wii Mario kart in a christmas gathering, & also PS2 metal slug, but i realised after mapping the 2x controllers up in Aethersx for PS2 disabled the RP3+’s controls, this is annoying. Any ideas how to overcome this? As i have to remove the mapping and set up the Rp3+ buttons again to play it using rp3+ buttons

      In Aethersx there is an option to save configurations for different controller types, including the RP3+ buttons. Go to controller settings, then you'll see options for save profile and load profile. I save a profile for my RP3+ and for the bluetooth controller I'm using, this way you can just load up your RP3+ controller settings instead of remapping. Hope that helps!
