In the 90,s when reggae was in the bones n being dreadlocked was a crime in my country,,, was deeply in love with this song.... I, m here in 2020 still getting the flow deep in my bones... Still cherishing this sacred music....and dreadlocked
Thought was alone. Have the best memories with this song only that the people we had those memories died untimely deaths. Am yet to overcome the reality. So I always cry nikisikia
I met him and his drummer Leroy horsemouth Wallace after a show in Lyon (France) in 90 the chance for spending an hour with them they were a VERY VERY NICE guys and so humble !! I m very proud of that cause they are great part of reggae history ❤
Song makes me cry tears. It reminds me of sista Dorice when we went to mourn and bury my sister in Suna Migori. This song was being played by almost all the music stores at the Migori bus stage. We arrived at around 6pm , lost and looking for someone to guide us to that fateful final resting place of Dorice Auma Osodo. I wonder if the great Burning Spear was telling me these words, mek we say what we have to say, or mek we do do what we have to do.RIP Nyar Chiga, till we meet again your Royal Highness Queen of Chiga
