4:08 they literally explained that in this version of time travel any changes to the past do not change the current timeline because it is already set in stone. In other media this would make sense but not endgame.
It makes ALL SENSE. There are no plot holes. Time travel works here. You go from point A in timeline 1 to point B in timeline 1 except it’s impossible to exist in your own past, so your presence there creates a new timeline, timeline 2. Point 2 exists there, and you can move around freely in timeline B. So if you wanted to take an Infinity Stone, you could take the one from timeline B and then return there to put it back. Now if you meet yourself, the biggest risk is to timeline B (the other risk being that you will be mistaken for the god of mischief thanks to your friends downstairs accidentally allowing him to escape and your past self not understanding time travel and you will end up in a fight) as the classic time travel chaos effects WILL happen just not to your original timeline, timeline A. If you kill your past self, nothing will happen to you as they stopped being you the moment you appeared in their timeline (timeline B). That never happened to you, ergo the person that happened to you is not you. If the villain from timeline B turns up in timeline A thanks to the past version of one of your teammates who just got killed so you can’t even yell at them for messing up your plans, killing said villain is NOT going to create a time paradox as, as we’ve already established, those do not exist in this version of time travel. Instead, it is going to stop all events caused by the villain after the moment he disappeared from timeline B IN TIMELINE B, not timeline A. Your reality will remain unchanged but timeline B will never lose half the universe, so it’s a win-win. Except for the part where Gamora, Thanos and Nebula’s nonexistence in timeline B causes the Guardians of the Galaxy to never be made, Quill is kidnapped by Rocket and Groot without any teams forming and if Roman doesn’t destroy Xandar with the orb, it will be destroyed later by Ego, who will still track down Quill eventually and use him to take over the universe and kill EVERYONE not just HALF OF EVERYONE. Also this happens _before_ the death of half the universe if no time travel happened, but shh it’s a happy ending. Fortunately, I have yet another solution: Tony’s snap sends everyone back to their original timelines instead of killing anyone. It would also revive Nebula as her being dead would probably have some kind of effect with the Guardians (maybe Gamora takes a dopifferent chance to escape or isn’t slowed down by fighting her sister or something) but at the very least would result in SOMETHING happening with the gauntlet as the Titan gang wouldn’t figure out Gamora was dead, Quill wouldn’t mess up the plan and they would get the gauntlet. Except we know in this situation they still wouldn’t win thanks to Strange seeing that there would be no other way of winning apart from the one that took place. So maybe they would work it out separately idk. And then Tony would die on Titan, so everyone needs to be unharmed upon returning to timeline B. Fortunately, he can do that! So he gets rid of all their memories of the events that took place leading to Endgame’s final battle in the timeline B people, gets rid of any physical marks that might show what happened and then later on the stones are returned and they all lived happily ever after except the ones who died the end. And also IT MAKES SENSE.
@@ihopeicanchangethisnamelat7108 isn't steve's ending still a plot hole though? i understand the alternate timeline thing but i don't understand how steve would've stayed with peggy and still have existed in the actual timeline for his old man scene.

4:08 in The movie it explains that when u time travel that past becomes ur present so If u change something to mess up reality it won't effect the present because that's a where different reality now
It makes perfect sense. Their brand of time travel is like branches on a tree. At first the trunk shot straight up without branches, but when they go back in time a new branch shoots out, before they hope back to the main trunk. It's just creating alternate dimensional branches at the points where they've interacted with the timestream. So now there is a universe where Thanos' army disappeared in 2014. So no one got snapped.
4:08 It's a good point that Thanos wasn't returned to 2014, bu that only creates a alternate timeline branching off of the original time line, NOT making a time loop. There are three basic time travel effects in movies: Changing things in the past changes the future (example - back to the future), changing the past fulfills the future (example - tenet) and changing the past does nothing to your own time stream, but rather creates an alternate time line (Example - Endgame). In my opinion the second two make much more sense. Loki and Thanos are the only two loose ends that they leave. The progression of Loki after Endgame is being looked at in Loki, but the alternate timeline of the 2014 and on without Thanos and all his forces have not been addressed. It would probably be pretty boring because it would just be the MCU except everything is peaceful. It would be the TVA's job to somehow fix that timeline, but idk how they would want to. Remember, the Ancient One was able to look into the future and do things differently in order to make things better, and she was never reprimanded by the TVA. Also the entire aspect of the time stone is completely different from quantum time travel, as the time stone is a building block of existence, and anything that it does was meant to be. Okay that girl talking about the time travel like seriously she even mentioned the goddamn alternate timelines. As hulk says “If you travel back into your own past, that destination becomes your new future and your former present becomes the past which can’t now be changed by your new future” so by killing 2014 thanos that changes the future for the avengers past selfs but doesn’t affect the present avengers
its sad hearing the voices of nat and tony now that endgame is out, ill never get over the fact we'll never see the original six together. ever... again
@ 4:08 the answer is easy. When Iron Man snapped he used the stones to erase Thanos and fix everything. Thats were the reality, power, time, and space stones come in.
4:15 The hulk or someone explains how by doing things in the past can not affect the present day. When Rhodey said they should just kill baby thanos somebody explains to him why u can't do that, then scott lang goes "So Back to the future is a bunch of bull shit"
I just realised something. I should’ve known that Wanda had her powers from an infinity stone because she destroys an infinity stone and Thanos said that only the stones can destroy the stones
5:00 it’s complicated but she said everything incorrect. 2014 thanos not only traveled to 2023 (our present) but traveled while our universe was branching out creating a whole different reality (universe). a universe where at different points in time, two different thanos’ from two different times yes but also universes, existed. 2014 thanos got snapped away from stark meaning that in the universe where 2014 thanos came from, no events that were supposed to be thanos’ doing after 2014 ever happened. in that universe, most threats suddenly never happened, but that doesn’t mean it affected that universe in a good way. “you mess with time, time tends to mess back - you’ll see” - tony stark
OK but when doctor strage held up a one what if he was trying say "fly up Thanos can't fly" or "go up captain marvel can handle it" But no iron man killed himself 😭😭😭
I think the girl at 4:30 missed the several explanations of time travel that they gave. Thanos coming to 2024 created a new timeline in which infinity war never happened. The main timeline is still in tact. They had to bring back the stones to prevent chaos in those other timelines, but removing thanos is removing the chaos lol
They could have just went back in time to the day they actually fought Thanos and tell Thor “Hey heads up you probably go for the head” and then bam life would be good
4:08 Actually, the russo brothers might have a interesting theory on time travel that can spark ideas as we cant forget time is one of the factors of the universe that gives it continuity. So to say that we break time or make a new timeline is to say we are breaking the universe into fragments. So to have different realities in the same universe due to certain circumstances makes sense. That's why loki takes place in a different reality compared to the original one. They don't break the timelines,New ones are made. Not only that, franchises which involve time travel usually show the latter to what was shown in endgame as it is easier to understand. And the russo bros like to try something new the whole time. So, I rest my case....
2:18 IS LITERALLY MY DREAM DANCE. IM A DANCER SO I WOULD DIE IF WE DID AN AVENGERS DANCE. A FEW OF MY FRIENDS FROM DANCE ARE MARVEL FANS TOO SO THEY WOULD AS WELL

4:38 in the new loki series 2014 thanos comes from the same timeline as our varient loki which means that it fixs itself since the tva destroys that timeline

4:08 they said it worked differently. It's not like back to the future and a bunch of those other time travel movies.
could you just imagine if galactus was in the mcu if he was we could kiss everyone goodbye
What’s the name of Thor’s hammer?
Paul: jOnAtHaN!
Okay the first one is cool but
DID YOU HAVE TO DO THAT TO THE POOR RECORD OH MY SAINTS
OK but when doctor strage held up a one what if he was trying say "fly up Thanos can't fly" or "go up captain marvel can handle it"
But no iron man killed himself 😭😭😭
Yea the girl doing the makeup thing sorta triggered me cause she didn’t know the lines very well and unlike me I did well
I think the girl at 4:30 missed the several explanations of time travel that they gave. Thanos coming to 2024 created a new timeline in which infinity war never happened. The main timeline is still in tact. They had to bring back the stones to prevent chaos in those other timelines, but removing thanos is removing the chaos lol
They could have just went back in time to the day they actually fought Thanos and tell Thor “Hey heads up you probably go for the head” and then bam life would be good
It should be like that they were in a time loop and iron man should come back
5:20
No one
Me and her:IS THAT THE GRIM REAPER!
5:57....I agreeeeeee XD Scott Lang-best magician of all time. Eve Wanda, Doctor Strange and Loki together can´t defeat him XD
What about Ilusion? Scott will team up with Ilusion (Vision) and they will defeat them easily
@@thelindenguy Well ok, that is logical :)
👀 I need the Peggy record in that first one
Bro Peters face when quill calls thors not the good looking
(In tune to the teddy song thing )
This is Bucky
Bucky says hi
Steve says grab my hand
Oops Bucky dies
(I know how doesn’t but who cares)
2:18 IS LITERALLY MY DREAM DANCE. IM A DANCER SO I WOULD DIE IF WE DID AN AVENGERS DANCE. A FEW OF MY FRIENDS FROM DANCE ARE MARVEL FANS TOO SO THEY WOULD AS WELL
3:14 Wait WHAT
COME ON YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN BINGE WATCHING THEM BY NOW YOUVE HAD ALL QUARANTINE!?!?
R.I.P Chadwick baseman😭 R.I.P tony stark
4:50 In the MCU if you change something in the past it creates an alternate timeline and doesent change your future
If you cant understand that you have 7 IQ
Omg the 5th episode of wandavision was so confusing and WHY THE HECK IS QUICKSILVER THERE
she recast him and that honestly killed
4:38 in the new loki series 2014 thanos comes from the same timeline as our varient loki which means that it fixs itself since the tva destroys that timeline
5:38 opened my eyes i never new who that was!!!!
