@@CamodoGaming That's great, I love to hear it! There is a wealth of information developing on the forum I mentioned above. As it stands, I am surprised anyone is enjoying the gameplay as it's all basically "filler" except for a few time trials and other challenges that have been polished. Wow... I remember when BeamNG was just another car physics game, it has come a long way. Genuinely one of the best development of a game I have seen, I don't think any updates were hated by the fans

22:58 Camodo, there is a setting named Use Proposed Vehicle in the mission settings, maybe if you set it to NO you could use your own car
I tried it myself.. you only unlock it after getting 1 star (in this case completing mission once) which is kinda stupid
it even says it under racer count
same for traffic on certain races btw

instead of career, a mode seemingly designed around creating ur own vehicle (Cause its not official yet can't be certain), forces you to use the stock vehicle
Playing the career mode in VR has been quite the experience. Rock crawling took on a whole new dimension. Really can't wait to see more stuff added to the career.
I'd love to play this in VR. That wasn't an option when my Rift S wasn't a paperweight

There actually are some BeamMp servers for that, they are called CaRP & there are many different maps too, beware though that from memory of last time I played one of those servers there were quite alot of mods on the server, but the wait for all the mods to finish installing was in my opinion worth it because it was fun.
@@duckbag_gamer The only mods CaRP servesr have are vehicle parts and map modifications. It's actually extremely light in mods compared to most beamMP servers

Id love for pedestrians to be a thing. To have physical Male and female NPC's in vehicles, walking pedestrians, And a customizable player for us to make unique. It would open up a lot for Taxi, Uber driving missions. Actual police stops with physical police officers giving tickets. Just make the world more alive. I imagine the West Coast map is going to continue expanding in the future, hopefully to become one giant world. Since the recent update allowing to open car doors and hoods ect, I'm guessing they plan on making more opportunities to actually leave the vehicles. Looking forward to the future for Beam! Thanks Camodo for the display of the new update content!

@@EliKirkMusic Beam isnt just about cars tho, its about physics and more recently a lot about exploring more role play style, like adding story mode and about doing missions. Asseto corsa is a car game, beam is a open world sandbox game. Why add turning signals and gas pumps if the game was just simply a car game nothing more. It has roleplay features, which is why I said it could be good for pedestrians. Obviously each their own but alot of people play with a sim wheel and role play a little in BeamNG. Nothing wrong with that.

I’d love to see them add either repo or firefighting into career mode. Imagine getting to recover cars that have gone off the road or responding to car crashes and putting out the fires. Loved the video please make more in career mode
Off road recovery would be pretty cool. Like the stuff you see on Matt's off road recovery

Yes they have the perfect opportunity now to make a purpose for the stambecco fire truck other than rp, unless they make a firetruck on the T series or another upcoming vehicle.

This makes me so sad that my pc got to bad to launch beamng but it’s still awesome to see how it evolved over time
at the moment i suffer from black screens and ui problems but this is the funniest career mode version so far, extremely fun. great vid
There is so much potential for this mode! Hear me out if they add multiplayer, add a character model that would be pretty fun!
I had an SN95 Mustang that cost $0.36 haha, once tax and fees were added on it cost $1337.88.
Also mods are definitely incorporated, I had a bunch of modded cars available to buy and had a bunch of modded parts including engines. Had the option to stick a massive 500ci engine sticking right out of the bonnet of my 200BX.
Looking forward to seeing Camodo doing trucker jobs on BeamNG, if they eventually make a world similar to how American Truck Simulator works.
I've been obsessed with the career mode since they first added. Can't wait until it's fully done!

anybody remember Streetlegal Racing: Redline?
Carreer mode looks alot like this and i sure hope it would be alot like it.
Redline had buyable broken cars wich you can repair and sell or use to race and earn money. Had so much fun with it back in the day.
Streetlegal Racing: Redline was basically beamng's predecessor.

Me: **goes to the local city dealership & buys a monster truck & tank as you would normally do at a public dealership.** (It is all fun & games for the ai cars driving around & wasting my time at stop lights, that all changes when they see my new whip >:) )

Yeah! Beam's Career Mode is looking very nice, especially with the ability to buy vehicles and customize them with in-game money. 😮
Also it looks like mods could work with it? Not sure how well it would work... Still, seeing the Toy Building Block Car being sold at that dealership was pretty funny! 😅
Mods do work and have their own prices, I tested with the d troxx wheel pack

I cant wait until the career mode is completely finished, it would be really cool if we could race with the cars that we own, and not the cars that it makes us drive when we enter an ai race on career. also it would be cool if we had some cop chases, but more realistic than the freeroam ones. one more cool thing i think that they should add is the ability to go to different maps, like from a ui app or something idk

oh jeez Im so impressed by the incremental growth trend this game has just always been on since I first saw it, when it was just barely a tech demo. Its encouraging really to see, as a dude that wants to make a game way too ambitious for my own good.

That first mission to the dealership, the clock on the top-right is counting down, so I guess that's the time you're supposed to respect for the getting there on time bonus objective.
This person can talk 33 minutes straight without taking a breath.
Just so you know, you can use your own vehicles. You have to complete the challenge once to unlock challenge settings and then change 'use proposed vehicle' to 'no'
pizza delivery. show up at a pizza place at a certain time, get deliveries, deliver them. go back to shop for next job. can be done on a car or scooter.
taxi jobs would be cool too.
Police missions, ambulance missions, fire fighting missions.

I can already see this being a huge multiplayer thing if somebody modded in player homes and real player models that you can customize and things like that. Maybe players could own businesses. Could be a lot like the GTA rp stuff, but even cooler.

I think you have saves
In Career mode currently, If you save before leaving the mode, it will save. But if the game updates, you will lose your save and have to create a new one.
holy cow, car customizing is 10000% immersive
Would be so nice if they added better controller support in VR so when you get out of the car you can like in other VR games teleport to move, and then use them in place of the mouse to interact with the vehicle, like opening the doors, trunk etc (and of course use the radial menu)
would be cool if they added delivery style missions. you drive your personal vehicle to the pick up and they have boxes/crates/lumber ect set out and have a feature in place to place them on your vehicle in different ways. then each item delivered gives money.

when you did the Basic Race it gave you a Race Properties Menu at the Bottom where it gave you "Use proposed Vehicle" as an option. I bet if you turn that off it will let you use your current vehicle. I can not even forsee the future of BeamNG as this game is growing in content and options so rapidly that it's easy to miss out when you just dont play for 3months. I believe BeamNG is gonna be THE CAR GAME.. once we get optimized performance so people with even just a basic 700-$ PC can play on at least 60FPS it will definitely be a valid compatitor to the Car Game Market. Espacially since I feel like the only good Options that are left are Forza, GranTurismo and Assetto Corsa (from the Games that I own myself) when it comes to Simulated Car Games.
I really love the development of BeamNG and like I said, once we get that optimization, I will definitely start advertising this games to my friends as it has so much potential to be the Number 1 Car Game.
A GTA firetruck with water spray would be a fun career mode thing.

I'm hoping they open up the missions on the other map n add fire ambulance mission tow truck missions it would be awesome to have a scape yard were your crashed cars get taken to and you could buy wrecked vehicles or get a job there crushing vehicles man I have so many things id like to see Anyway love the Chanel can't wait for more

When you open the preview for the event i noticed in the races it had an option "use proposed vehicle" you missed. I feel changing it from the default Yes to No would have allowed you to use your own car. Also it seems the only time the money shows up is when you are in a perching purchasing menu

im playing the career mode in 0.31 update and mods are available at the dealerships, however they are a bit unrealistic, i have a 918 porsche that costs only 1000 beambucks
I would add a garage where we can repair crashed car like working on the body frame, pulling out dents and stuff like that
