I love how this talk is translatable to my craft as a music producer. Definitely need to be more deliberate as to what skill I'm working on with each song. Thanks for the tips!
Glad you were able to take something away from this Robbie!! Every time Creatures of the Night comes up on Spotify, I get hype. You're crushing it dude, keep it up!!!
Cool tips Andy! Couldn’t agree with you more that taking breaks in between definitely helps alot! Sometimes you’ll come back even more motivated to finish what you’ve started! You’ll also start to notice some mistakes after not looking at it for too long 😊
Very true!!! Sometimes I find when I rush through a piece just to get it done and not really take the time to understand, I find the same mistakes over and over again and I don't even end up liking the piece. Not worth!! Better to take time/put it aside and figure it out :)
Yo this is equal parts soothing and insightful and I’m 100% here for content that educates me but also makes me feel like I’m being wrapped up in a weighted blanket of “hey, it’s ok to not be a perfect artist, lemme help u grow”?????
That said, I’m working on perspective! The study streams I’ve been doing have been helpful, but it’s crazy hard to do productive study when you’re exhausted 😂
Yay Kayleen!! How exciting!! And yes, haha, those are both very important things to learn, hopefully I can make a tutorial in the future to help you with that :)

@@carinyossa OOOOO I liked how you put it haha. And yeah perspective is tough. Your practices seem like they've been good though right?
Thanks for sharing Andy! Definitely will try your steps out! I’m trying to work on the body anatomy and head/face.
