I wish ELF would stop spreading disinformation about siwon. No, he doesn't want to be a politician nor to be called daddy. The politician thing was a joke because of his preferred 8:2 hair. his aspirations are towards charity and humanitarian issues, he even said he wanted to be a missionary once. And no. He doesn't like to be called daddy (is quite disrespectful tbh) if you watch the whole IG live he kept saying no to both ajhussi and daddy, but annoying elf kept writing daddy daddy daddy, he was basically forced to say "ok call me that". And then closed the live. (Is not a case that was the last live he ever did) So new elf please take your time to really know siwon, and don't take members jokes about him as the truth, those are jokes for entertainment purpose, not the the truth.
I honestly agree with this. Siwon is honestly an amazing person who is really kind and has A LOT of talent that is not shared because they focus only on a few things about him.
I just wish the fandom overall will start to share better information in such videos and also debunk false things spread by antis.
What I think ELF need to consider doing is a large project and together make is a video series with a focus for each video about one member. Something bigger than this sort of thing. Something that gets made and then checked over by other ELF to ensure there are not any mistakes.
I believe that will further inform people about each member’s skills and help the fandom grow better (& reduce incorrect info being in videos / give newbies facts to defend against bandwagon BS) because I’ve found that new ELF don’t even know half the proper info…
they are being told incorrect stuff too much these days and accidentally believing foolish ELF jokes as facts.
I’d start making some up myself but I’m not talented at editing at all tbh….
Suju deserves a good team from the fandom to make an educational series just like the old [ Let’s learn about ……. ! ] videos from years ago.
I get this is not meant to be a overly serious video. I am not saying this about the current video here specifically, but some jokes in many such videos around atm really are not funny anymore & should get faded out. Idk but too often ELF are causing Suju problems and create misunderstandings wind the hate up towards the group by spotlighting things they shouldn’t focus on (especially on Twitter ) since often many don’t think about the point that those outside the fandom don’t understand the ELF sarcasm or jokes. :/
I'm a little late but yes, more elfs should know this. As Siwon biased I feel a little annoyed when people misunderstand him and see him only as the suju congressman or the rich member or the visual who's looks have regressed over time. He is so much more than that. Same goes for the other members too. We shouldn't always believe the stereotypes the sj members make for variety shows.
There's a lot of things about suju that I'm only knowing now (I'm a newer fan) after all the fake and over exaggerated bs that aways come up on social media. And yes, some of it is our fandom's fault. People who have started taking an interest in suju are usually first exposed to all the 'bad' things thanks to antis spreading the bandwagon hate. I really wish all of this would be cleared up, super junior deserves better.
@@shynwild9118 i am totally new to super junior and it was all because of Shin Dong and Siwon interactions with the other members. The funniest crackheads in a group, the more i watch the more i like them as a group. Those poisonous people who made one member leave because he got married disgust me!!!
This guide was a wonderful way to get to know them better, Siwon being rich doesn't make me like him, him being there for his band mates and being down to earth is heart warming.
Too many people calling themselves fans of these groups edit things to what they want to watch, I prefer to see the real clips to edited nonsense.

I'm also a new E.L.F, and I wanted to say thank you for addressing this. As a Kpop fan and as a Korean, I am ashamed about idols killing themselves because of hate comments and extreme schedules. People that say mean stuff to artists don't know the pain and stress and I want them to experience being an idol. Plus, feel like idols are being treated like a money making machine.
I also want to thank SJ for saving my life. As someone who was born in America and moved to Korea a couple of years ago, it was really hard for me to adapt to a different type of education. I was harassed and had to go through school violence at the same time. I really wanted to just end my life. That's when SJ popped up on my screen and because of that video, I am alive right now. So please don't harass idols or anyone else, because it can really take away someone's life. Like Heechul said, if you don't respect the artists, then you aren't a fan(I'm not sure if that's the exact phrasing, but it was something like that). Again, thank you for addressing this problem and thank you SJ for helping me get through hard times in life💙
