What if your computer does not show up on the 'list of computers' under 'usb connection'? I have only ever scanned to one computer that showed up. No other computer has ever been listed even though multiple are connected to the wifi here. Any ideas?
Melissa, thanks so much, this worked for me! I was going out of my mind trying to do this from the scanner, would not have thought to try from the MAC side. Don, try hitting "DETAILS" if you see that. this allows you to set resolution.
Some things you are missing.. My computer is turned on but does not show up on the list to scan. I print wirelessly, so why won’t it show up? Do I have to open the computer to a particular page? How do you connect via USB, when there doesn’t seem to be a port? Not an awful video, but not great either.
@@user-rz1mx6vq5q Hi, Ashton. I did get it to work, but it’s been so long now that I can’t even tell you what I did. Seems to me I went to preferences in my MacBook, clicked on the printer and there was an option to click a button that said “scan.” And then I had to click a box that said scan all documents or something like that. In other words, the answer wasn’t in the printer.
Even if I connect the computer with a cable, I can't scan anything. Says error. I can't print either. I can only copy my papers. Tried for 2-3 days and no result. I've had this with every printer. It seems that one of the most difficult technologies and too many settings. I can handle any other heavy program, but every time I bought a new printer I can't get a normal connection. Useless printer.
I have a 3760, but seems similar. I have the Epson driver, but the printer says "Communications error. See if computer is connected" Both are on same Wifi Network What od you do then?
What if after going through the process and entering the password you still don't have communication? I'm at a loss what to do next. The scan to computer did work before. Thanks!
this is my issue. I even got the dang special USB cable to make it work and it still not showing up. I tried every way to get it to connect and nothing.
This is not very helpful. I knew all of this, but I see no place where you can control the resolution of the scan. My scan is scanning to my computer at a low resolution. I understand the scanner is capable of much higher resolution than I am getting. I have tried both PDF and JPEG scanning.
I can wifi print, my computer NEVER shows up on the network and so these directions don't work. Maybe it's because I'm a MAC user. So to scan from a MAC, go into the printer settings, choose scan, open scanner, and then just place the item on the printer glass as shown in the video, select scan and be sure you have chosen where you want the item to scan to. I always choose "desktop" and it will scan and appear there. If you have tricks for how to get the computer to be identified by the printer, I'd love to see that video.
this is completely useless. you show nothing that someone couldn't just read. why don't show how to set this up, how to connect to a computer on the network, what happens or why your computer that is on the network doesn't show up in the select computer screen. YOU ARE NOT EXPLAINING ANYTHING!
Piece of junk video. If you are going to make a tutorial set up the whole system and go step by step through each function item, showing what the result will be.

There is no USB port that I'm aware of on this model, so how do I scan to a USB connection? Thank you for any help!
Actually I believe there is a hidden wire plug in with this computer. I don't remember where, but I'm pretty sure there is.

You need to slow down! Speaking as if you have a time limit! I almost didn't listen to it all.
