She said that when she joined the band Marko showed her how to treat her hair so it stays looking good during a show.
I was there at Wembley in 2015 at this show. That part where Floor says "Good evening, London, Wembley Arena!" And everyone starts shouting "Hey! Hey!" in unison to that heavy part still gives me goosebumps every single time I watch it. I cannot even begin to describe how it feels being a part of that experience in person.
I love your reactions but there is sooooo much more epicness for you guys to experience from all era's of Nightwish. Even their new stuff is amazing! Keep it up, us Nightwish Army love seeing you react.
I'm so jealous. And the fact that I had known about the band for years and didn't truly get into them until AFTER this point makes me so sad.
They had only played medium to small venues in the UK up until that point this was a big venue and a gamble. It sold out. I was stage right amazing show and the first time going to London, yes it took Nightwish to make a 50 year old to travel to his capital city.
I wonder if they can repeat this in may 2021...!!
@@JHX1 I should expect so, the energy from the crowd having been without live shows due to Covid would give us fans in attendance even more energy and enthusiasm.

NW's first time at Wembley. pulled out all the stops, TP&TP, GLS, TGSOE, including, Sir Richard, The Rockstar, live on stage with them. Tuomas said it was very special for them all.
Yes, very, very special. You can see this at the end when Tuomas staggers back from the keyboards, hands on head in awe and disbelief. Since discovering music and his talent, his life-long ambition has been to play Wembley as he has said, Troy too and Marko I think as they all mention it in this concert during song introductions.
I don't know why Wembley is held in such esteem as it's "only" 12,500 people, but it is.
What's the next step up? Royal Albert Hall? But that's only 5,272 now with H&S restrictions. Wembley Stadium of 90,000?

if you watch, when the smoke starts blowing, there's a girl in the front row, blonde hair with pink ends. i swear, it's the same girl at the end of the show in Tampere, holding up horns at the end as they take their bows. i both love and hate her at the same time
I think we can all agree that she's breathtaking.... And correct me if I'm wrong, but also Tuomas stated that her voice and presence is hypnotizing.

Amazing the way she grabs the crowd from the beggining . Fun song ? Floor going wild and dancing ?the whole crowd dancing and going wild ? You must see " i want my tears back " live buenos aires decades tour , but you know , argentina is an amazing country with crazy people .
Shudder before the beautiful, is the 1st official debute album of Nightwish with Floor Jansen as frontwoman soprano. In 2015. And debute drumming performance of Kai Hahto from Wintersun as the lead drummer in place of the loved Pirate , Jukka Nevalainen , who stepped aside because of his issues with bad insomnia. The replacement was successful, Kai is drumming machine , as you see , like Jukka . Miss you Jukka.

They've got several epic show opening songs, and several epic closers.
It's a good thing when a band can't fit all their best songs into one concert.
And if you want playful, Emppu is the one to keep your eye on. At Wacken '13, during I Want My Tears Back, especially. He unplugs Floor's earpiece, then risks trying again...
And you can see Floor absolutely tower over him. I understand that later Floor had his beer replaced by apple juice which he absolutely hates.

You want to see playful. Check out " I want my tears back" live at Wacken. Watch Empuu first comes to Troy. An tells him what he's going to do. Then you watch Empuu go behind Floor. He unplugs her earpiece. Then you see her fixing it. Troy laughing an giving that look to Floor "he got you. Then you see him come back. She watches him and gives him a look of "I'll step on you. You little emp."

It always amazes me how they switch from absolute Mayhem of sounds to silense and Solo singing just within couple notes and then back up there..

This is what I call a show opener! At full tilt right off the bat!!! Did you notice, that Tuomas and Emppu had a duel, synthesizer vs. guitar? Whole stage emitted good vibrations, they had so much fun!

Is that crowd noise not the absolute best thing?! This was their opener for Wembley and damn the crowd were up for it. This song is fairly underated on the polls. Keep up the great reactions! For a slightly for folky version of everyone having fun - try "I Want my Tears Back" from Wacken 2013.

Pretty simple combo, I see a new reaction and I see Suzi and it is an automatic view and then a like. Enjoy the music, it is evident by your reactions.
This band is special. I can't say this about every band out here. There's a few, but NW is one of those special bands that that comes along maybe once in a lifetime.
I'm a massive 5FDP fan. Outside of their heavy sound, I'm a vet and they do a lot of work bringing attention to the issues of the veteran community and giving us a voice. They have a lot of songs that pump the pride in service level up to 12 like Got Your Six, Bad Company and War is the Answer but they also have songs that squelch the pride and turn the I can't deal up to 20 with songs like Wrong Side of Heaven and Gone Away.
Nightwish is special for a whole different set of reasons. Tuomas is a musical genius. His understanding of composition and lyrics is second to none. His eye for stage theatrics is amazing. Floors voice has an otherworldly beauty that just couldn't be duplicated. The band clicks on so many different levels and you can tell they truly enjoy playing with each other. The easy smiles just brings the word family to mind. Most importantly their music transports the listener. Whenever I'm bummed and missing my brothers that didn't make it back home, I listen to Nightwish and I'm taken to a different place where I'm safe. There's no sadness, there's no death. It's an adventure in a far away land in a far away galaxy and I'm excited to live again. I'm full of hope and purpose... if only for a few hours, it's enough.
If I may make a suggestion for you guys to react to. Please for the love of God react to the Hu. They are a Mongolian throat singing band. Trust me when I tell you this... you've never heard anything like them. Give following songs a try:

I think it helps when she's wind milling so it doesn't wreck her back or neck. I think you'll like both I want my tears back the one in Wacken and Buenos Aires. The Wacken one Emppu pulls a trick on Floor with her ear piece and Buenos 2018 Floor dances around the stage and the crowd is amazing. Our Amazing Valkyrie.

You should check out ReVamp's Disdain livw at Graspop if you want to see Floor putting it all out there like a champ and getting very little response from a crowd. It says a lot about how/why Nightwish energized her so much... It's the ARMY 💘
