I like MSI just because it has the best aftersales support here, they just replace the board without asking anything
Here lately their Bios are usually some of the most readable, which is a nice plus.
For me their support has been utter dogpoop for my mobo
here their after sales support is very bad
I have had enough bad experiences with ASUS tech support to avoid them like the plague.
The answer is MSI.
*MSI* it's their core specialty.
Go with the best deal you can find in your budget. Basically, all major MB makers are pretty much on par with each other.
Actually really depend on budget, here in my country SG Asrock motherboard are mostly used by builders.
The reason is quite obvious Asrock has the cheapest motherboard followed by Gigabyte.
ASUS is rare due to high price so most builders don't really use ASUS.
Question is which is best... For cheap boards, cheapskate might pay twice. The PC I built for my sister the cheap board died and had to replace.
Makes no sense to buy Asus pretty much ever in my opinion due to higher price for the same functionality on top of recent ryzen 7000 VSOC issues. For the vast majority of consumers the choice is between Gigabyte, MSI and Asrock and the best choice varies from platform to platform, from chipset to chipset and from consumer to consumer.
they make the best looking stuff
Asrock boards had a streak of being worst crap ever but as of latest chipsets, they've been quite solid all around. For any component, I'd advice to go with the brand that has better customer support. The better the quality in the products, the better their CS since they have to deal with so few problems, they tend to go an extra mile to rectify problems.
My silly brain likes to match the brand of the mb and GPU, I have Gigabyte mb and GPU.
Consumers must also take into account the BIOS design and stability with these boards. However, one thing is certain, the VRMs are overbuilt by MB manufacturers pretty much across the board... (ayyy :D)
MSI is the best.
The noise gate on your audio is very annoying.
I have msi b450m pro vdh max. Can it support ryzen 5000 series? They didn't specified clearly on their compatibility list
I currently use a320m pro vh and I put a Ryzen 5600 on it.
@@masternoel123 wow does it bottleneck the your pc? Also what gpu you using with it?
@@TheVirtualArena24No bottleneck, use an RTX 3060 on it.
@@masternoel123 so it ultimately comes down to power supply and cpu I guess.
Really like that Gigabyte just updated and changed the look of their BIOS. Even the mouse works a little better, but still lags
ROG for overclocking and have more Tech
Gigabyte for good design, price and good storage
MSI For tweaking
Asrock good reliability
Thats right and aours between Rog and Gigabyte
My gigabyte aorus mobo died so I replaced it with an MSI VDH Wifi, I opted for MSI because the debug lights my brother's board has have proven to be really useful + your reviews on the board
Personally I’ve used Asus boards for 13 years and never had one fail, they have been great. I did try a gigabyte one a few years back but it failed within the first 3 months!
i used to use asus, until the board took out everything in my pc. i switched to asrock and read the reviews for any low end crap boards.
@@craiglortie8483 Asrock (ass rock :D) are usually pretty bad though, how has it been?
My 3 year old Asus just died. Maybe just back luck?
oof… motherboard dying is a real pain!
@@terrywho22 no, check reviews. watch for problems and doa, that's where you see the quality drop.
Gigabyte and MSI also Asus. There good
I think gigabyte is the most budget option
Last few years I've had half a dozen builds with intel cheap msi pro boards and so far so good.
Lol no answer
i like asus lol x570 for 99$ i bought 2 of em. love em
Cheaper than trying to warranty one of them
AM5 Gigabyte is tha aboslute ultimate dogshit.
actually they are one of the most stable ones for ram compatibility, Asus is the dog shit one this time
i exclusively go Abit motherboards when available...
That's a name I haven't heard in years. I assume that's a joke?
@@cairnex4473 yeah, just thinking back on the motherboards ive had in the past. i believe it was an abit be6 motherboard that i was able to get my p3 Coppermine 550mhz to 770mhz. along with my geforce2 gts, i was able to get in the top 20 in 3dmark. that was the first time i felt i had a great motherboard. before that, i felt that motherboards were just something you had to have and didnt really pay too much attention to brands.
@@cairnex4473 Nope. Their favorite brands are Abit and Biostar.
for me, I either go asus or MSI
Same. My MSI 945GCM5-F V2 (FSB 1333) is still going strong.
Just did my Tomahawk b350 to a Mortar b650. No dramas. Ever
I usually love this channel but making a video about a subject that you have nothing to say about seems kind of a waste of time. I was hoping for some advice on mid-high end AM5 boards. Specifically looking at the AEROUS MASTER X670E.
Steve's literally posted videos comparing 35 B650 motherboards and another comparing 22 X670E motherboards, including the Aourus Master, have a look my friend
This is so easy to answer. And HUB did answer similarly.
It always depends on the generation and platform.
