- Hey y'all! Another January vlog then we're all caught up! Trying out pilates for the first time, trying to find a park or green space to just woosah & journal. What happened to all the parks in Kampala? Then attended an Okugamba Obugyenyi of our bride to be! So happy for Denzy! What a beautiful function. I'm so blessed to be from a country with so much culture.

Good question. We had parks once upon a time but times have changed as buildings were preferred and replaced these green spaces.
That’s so so sad 😞
I have always wondered the same thing.
So saaad
I totally get what you mean about finding a peaceful park or green space in Kampala; it feels like there used to be so many more, but they’ve been taken over by development. As for spots to relax in greenery, perhaps the Botanical Gardens in Entebbe? They’re great for a little peace and quiet among nature.
Yes !! And Entebbe in general by the water is so therapeutic. Granted there’s no randoms around with loud speakers 😅 hahah but I really do love the botanical gardens
@aldodevassily8729 please I've been here in Uganda 🇺🇬 for 5 months. I've not been everywhere, but you sound as if you've been nowhere this video should never been posted, Ndere is beautiful and green. People need to stop making videos making videos on Uganda with worthless content, I'm finding out there's many local Ugandans that have not been able to enjoy the many beautiful places Uganda has to offer Ssese island.
@@JamesLollis-br9qx you really need to see more of kampala then. If I moved from a western country with more access to public parks but you can only name one PRIVATE park under all my videos, I think you need to see more. The reality is, for everyone who grew up in Uganda, my parents and family included, there were a lot more open PUBLIC parks, like other thriving cities world wide. Happy you’ve enjoyed Kampala for 5 months. Keep exploring.
@RachaelNalumu mam do you realize I come from the US where many public parks are invaded by the homeless population, where it has been ravishing by drug abuse, mam I only mention kampala because that's what you mentioned I've spent over $35k usd traveling and investing in Uganda, I've also been to Ssese island, Bwindi national park for a week, Murchison falls national park, Busia Kenya, and more. 🤣
@aldodevassily8729 I've spent more money in Uganda 🇺🇬, than many people
many people who live here for a entire year.
There a small park behind city oil accessed at the side (& opp acacia mall). Maybe coz its not in the culture as on people relax/play differently
Yeah I used to always go there but it’s so dusty and noisy and in the middle of town 😅
Agree 😅 @@RachaelNalumu
Hey cute
Skin is skinning
Ahhh thank you ! It’s so on and off these days so I appreciate this comment 🥹☺️
Ndere
I still haven’t been !!
@RachaelNalumu so you post there's no green space in kampala 🥲 ,I've been there it's very green and beautiful.
@@JamesLollis-br9qx I think I should have clarified public parks and public green spaces. It’s privately owned, no?
@RachaelNalumu it's green and free entry.
@RachaelNalumu clarity is essential.
