Love these messages part 1 and part 2. I understand everything you are saying but most of these issues you speak of are Democrat/leftist issues. Yes we need to hold the Republicans accountable also and not worship these politicians but I don't know any Republicans pushing the LGBT Q+ agenda and abortion as hard as they are. I'm not saying Republicans are not guilty of not pushing God and not putting God first but I'm confused, who are we supposed to vote for? Yes we need to make God's kingdom are priority but why are we not calling out the obvious party that pushes this stuff?
Both parties have serious issues. However The Bible is our guide when it comes to voting. Basic principles need to be upheld by the candidate. No man is righteous, so that means no candidate will line up entirely with Gods word, we vote for the one who lines up on the majority of the bigger issues. We rely on the Holy Spirit to help us discern which candidate is the one who God is directing to be in charge. The Bible says God can move the hearts of even wicked men to unknowingly do His will. No matter who is in office God’s plan will be fulfilled His word will come to pass, we still should vote as a way of honoring God and the government He set in place. I hope this helps. These are just my thoughts on the issue.
It works the other way around also. All I have to say to deceive Evangelicals is say Im pro life even if im not just to get their vote. You just can't go off of platform issues. Jesus did not leave us here to win the world though law and platform and policy. He left us to preach the gospel and cause to become new creations so that kingdom government can change them from the inside out. Other than that we are only picking and choosing certain sins to represent the kingdom homosexuality, abortion. We say nothing about racism and discrimination and actually helping the homeless and fatherless. You gave absolutely no example of this with populism
