I was thinking about that, but I’m kinda stretched thin at the moment I also have 2 shows I’m doing on Patreon (expanse and sand man) and another anime channel lol I really need to outsource editing but that costs $$ 😩
Before this series, Andre Braugher, who plays Captain Raymond Holt, was mostly known for his dramatic roles, like "Homicide: Life on the Street". You have reacted to him before, when he played Thomas in "Glory". This series showed what a brilliant comedic actor he can be.
@@NiaMakiReacts There's about 25 years between the roles, so it's understandable that he's changed a bit 🙂I look forward to seeing what you think of him as the episodes continue.
God I love this show! And it only gets better when you know all the characters better! In this episode I especially love that "conversation" where she is pointing at the NYPD letters on her vest and the janitor just turns around and points to "maintenance", so perfect 😂
Brooklyn 99 is my second favorite comedy show of all time behind Psych! So many moments that make me laugh no matter how many times I've seen them. Also fun fact, the auditions for this show were literally throwing the other actor in a room with Andy Samberg and seeing if they could survive 😂
I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE WATCHING THIS! The character arcs are amazing and I'm hoping you'll love it as much as the rest of the fanbase. Also, that would be dope if you wore a tie. :D
Psych is so good!! It is also one of my favourite shows along with Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Cannot wait to see you react to the show and have it become one of your favourites as well. S03-S06 are my favourites by a landslide
omg I LOVE Psych too! My favourite shows of all time are: **Firefly**, Buffy, Veronica Mars, Avatar the Last Airbender, and Fleabag. This is such a great show and I'm excited to see you reacting to it.
Such an excellent choice! One of the modern comedy series that's hilarious and doesn't use laugh tracks, and still has plenty of heart and character development!
This show grows A LOT! It really gets better as you get to know the characters and their motivations. Their personalities are very well built and they get funnier as we go along, because each one of them have their own thing. On a side note, I've watched some videos of you before, but they were all of serious material (like Arcane or The Last of Us) and I didn't realize you have a solid sense of humour: I chuckled with a lot of your remarks, especially at 7:17. If you're taking suggestions, I think you could analyse the possibility of reaction to more than one episode at a time. Since they are kind of short and the series is long, it might be benefitial for the audience (we get more reaction per week) and for your channel (you get to speed up the process a little bit and finish the series before it gets tiring). I don't actually have any expertise on this, though, and this is just a thought.
Adam sent me here and I’m so glad! You’re gonna love this show. Like every sitcom, it takes a few episodes for the characters to find themselves. Arguably the funniest show ever
I have so many favorite lines from this show but there are some small ones that i particularly adore, like 'i am detective right-all-the-time, and this is my partner detective-terrible-detective'
I found your channel through your reactions to The Last of Us and now you're reacting to one of my favorite sitcoms; you will cry a bit as the show evolves but a lot of it is joyful, happy crying. You'll see. ;)
b99 is one of the cop shows i can still watch, mostly because it's a story primarily about people who care about each other and want one another to grow and become their best selves, who also happen to solve crimes. throughout the show but more so in the later seasons they start to address police brutality, civilian shootings, corrupt police systems, and the racism/sexism the police both experience and perpetrate onto others. they have some really interesting conversations that i don't think the show could have survived not addressing.
Ooooh I didn’t realize it addresses those topics later on! Thought it was just fun, and one of those shows you can pick up from episode without needed to know what’s really going on! Good to know!
It's a fun show! Been a while since I've seen it but they do an excellent job with the distinct characters and comedy. Amazing they have this as a police comedy. Rosa is awesome but I really liked Amy and Jake... but really the whole cast is awesome!
Nia, you would look great in, if not an actual button-down shirt & tie, a professional ensemble with a stylish neck piece (tie, scarf, etc.)! It would be fun! 🤗
@@NiaMakiReacts New Girl and Brooklyn Nine Nine did a crossover. I don’t remember what season or episode but if you keep watch Brooklyn 99 you’ll see it❤️
Hi! I'm a recent subscriber and your Naruto reactions brought me here. I was excited to discover that this show was available. I'm curious if you're a fan of the Ocean's Eleven franchise. If so, I'd like to suggest taking a peek at the original "Leverage" series.
The only big issue I ever had with Brooklyn 99 is right in the pilot. Why does Holt insist on Jake wearing a necktie but not the women? The whole concept of appearing as a unit doesn’t work if it’s just the men.
Ohh hell yeah 99! This is one of those rare shows where the pilot it’s pretty good but is still the weakest one of the whole series if I’ll say so myself same as Lucifer (Netflix) for example! 🤷🏾♂️👍🏾
As a fan of "Barney Miller" (1975-1982), I've stayed away from this "Mr. captain's got a man-wife" series. I see that the "infanitle adults" have joined the police farce; attack of the comedy central cops? A detective that's obsessed with movies and quotes from same? I'll pass, but I do recall the critical firestorm over the "happy cops" bent of "Barney Miller" back then.
I actually frequently compared the series to "Barney Miller". While the humour can be a bit more infantile at times, at it's heart it is probably a more realistic cop show than many of the dramas, just like Miller was.
You’ll fall in LOVE! with EVERYBODY!!! May I suggest you do 2 or 3 episodes at once. You have 8 seasons to get through!
Good suggestion, double episodes would be perfect imho.
I was thinking about that, but I’m kinda stretched thin at the moment I also have 2 shows I’m doing on Patreon (expanse and sand man) and another anime channel lol I really need to outsource editing but that costs $$ 😩

SUCH a great show. So quotable and the best into bits. “THE FULL BULLPEN!”
Such an excellent choice!

This show is really funny, thanks for making these. Adam is funny and I watch his stuff too.
Adam is great! Always has great suggestions!
I am starting this whole playlist again. For Andre, our Captain. 😢
@1:45 That’s my friend, Eugene, playing the ‘bad guy’ on the screen. He’s actually very nice and very not a bad guy. Really smart.
Hey! Great reaction! Adam sent me here and I’m definitely staying! Happy to be on board 😊
Aw awesome!!! He’s the best!! Thanks for coming through!!!

Psych, massively underrated.

It’s crazy they are totally different 😂
Donnie Brasco is a good film to react to 😊

One of mine too! It's like Scrubs with cops and without the sad parts, but just as funny and as many great characters!
You'll love this show
NINE-NINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to subscribe and watch your B99 reactions! I've been watching FWCIe B99 reactions since the beginning
woot woot!! Thanks foe joining!!
Me and a fellow coworker both use this show as our background noise, each probably watched the entire series 10 times
Hahaha!! I can see myself doing this!
I'll definitely tune in for the next episode!
I love this! Please, please make this a daily upload. 😉
I think if I could get it edited I’ll definitely increase the uploads
Police officers and Terry Crews😂😂
I love this series I’m on s3 like ep6 and it’s such a chill watch so funny

Sorry we ended up skipping a week cause of the chaos but we will be back this week with an upload!
Yessssss!
I just discovered a beautiful human being. Good to see your reactions. +1!
i take this opportunity: RIP Oh Captain, our Captain 🙏
Nine-Nine was the show I've had to wait for since "Barney Miller" finished in 1982.
Your taste in shows is very similar to mine. I also use American Dad as background noise to calm me. And this show right here. B99 is the best
Hahaha! Yeah Bobs burger was another one too, I haven’t done that in a long time though. Glad to find a funny show to just enjoy again

such an underrated show.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a great series shutdown to soon. I wish it could keep going. I am watching it again from the beginning again.
