What I would like Rocket League to do is perhaps add something like Fortnite Creative. I feel like we need the ability to make custom maps and props and go beyond just soccar. Ofc that means having a better engine which may be harder and take a while. Knockout was a good example of not having a ball at all. Even hoops is amazing and that’s basketball.

i have a brilliant idea for psyonix & i don’t understand why they haven’t done it yet, the idea is to add gold as an obtainable color for all the tournament rewards. its so easy to implement, i don’t see there being any flaws, and it would be an incredible new addition everyone would love
there aren’t any flaws, because -tournament items aren’t tradeable, even tho trading is gone, it is still a factor -trade ups, if you trade up multiple series items together, you can only get gold if you get a new item, therefore, it would not be complicated even in terms of trade ups and finally, it’ll just make tournaments stand out more, yknow, it would revive tourneys tremendously
I honestly think we need to all band together to start some sort of movement towards Epic actually fixing RL and Making it better again. Force them to listen to us
I honestly think that all these ideas could work, but if you’re going to get people back into the game you probably need advertisements on different platforms that show these updates. If not, most people will not notice because not everyone is logging into the game to check every day.
Something I wish to see in 2025 for Rocket League is to have the original alpha items like Gold Rush return, maybe for it's 10th year anniversary, it makes the most sense to rerelease it then. Fortnite did this with it's original items and it went pretty well there, and not many people are really mentioning the alpha items anymore (from what I have seen at least). Some pros who have Gold Rush use sparkles or standard instead. Even my friends use black standard over Gold Rush. For me personally however, it's an item I've wanted for years since I started playing. I know it'll lose it's specialty of being hard to come by, but I never cared for it's rarity or price, I just love how it looks and sounds and I just want to be able to see it in my inventory and have others see it too. Along with being able to see others using it as well, that would honestly be really cool.

Trading 4 sure, but by FAR the most crippling part of almost ANY game I've EVER played or even witnessed, is WELL over 75% of my competitive 3v3 matches have @ LEAST 1 troll who cannot make contact w/the ball as often as hitting it...or if not that their mom is yellin @ em & thus they go afk idle for the first part of matches. I delete it, comeback YEARS later, & no changes, no improvements, not enough penalties, by FAR the most toxic environment of ANY game I've EVER played, etc. If they'd simply make MEANINGFUL bans, for missing the ball like over 50% of the time, u must then play casual or nothin else, for an hour or somethin. It's just a horrible experience now, FAR more kids bc of free 2 play like Fortnite, which I despise. It bothers me more than it should, that our fun, more adult-themed game w/high-skill ceiling, is not just a land of troll "edgy" 14 yr. Old-type players, who prefer pouting & not tryin @ all, over tryin but failing, bc their tiny emotions can't handle it. Used to rank it about 9/10, but now they won't even make a ps5 version YEARS after, when MUCH smaller games/studios found a way. Now I'd rank the game literally 2/10, MAYBE 3/10 on a good day

why isnt there like a clan or club showdowns!!!! you get a certain amount of pts per save, goal, win, etc. all added to you club and over a week those pts go against all the clubs in the world and at the end of the week, there's a huge prize for like the top team, big prize for the top 5%, smaller for the top 15%, etc. and it keeps going down, if you participate even giving the lowest teams 50 credits for the week or something and the top team 1k credits and some black market drops and stuff. id play with some buddies for something like that!
I have more ideas in the replies to this comment, but my vote would be for official custom map support for single player and multiplayer. Psyonix could host a website where you could upload maps and have them available for download and play in-game. Kinda like the Steam workshop, but one that would work for Epic Games accounts.
Profile pictures would also be amazing. I realize that people would probably upload inappropriate pics, but why not something like in Sideswipe? Even something that simple would be better than just seeing the same profile symbol time after time.
But a REALLY good one would be the ability to trade up items in combination with Blueprints so you could get a specific item you're looking for. Or if you could use multiple identical Blueprints at a time to reduce the cost of building an item (5 identical ones would give you the item for free). Especially if you combined this with Blueprint trading.
Or how about Paint Pot items - combine a Paint Pot with an unpainted duplicate item to turn it into a painted item. They could sell the Paint Pots in the item shop and even get some money for it. Win-win situation IMO.

Honestly I just want trading back. I could live without the rest of it and still just keep enjoying rumble for another 10 years. That idea for a club rank does sound cool though and would fix a lot of the smurfing issues we have in the game.

If I beat 3 players in a row who are a higher rank than me and not get a promotion. then lose one match and i get demoted. Ranking should be based on who you beat and who you lose to not skill level. Because everybody's skill level isn't the same from day to day. There are plenty of videos out there that prove my theory.

That weekend league idea sounds so fun, if your club are diamond ranked you compete against other diamond clubs in a leaderboard for rewards
