I used to use M&K on console rust. It 100% gives you the edge over everyone else. It is unfair though I feel as long as the game allows it (not against the rules) it should be up to you if you are to use it. In my defence I was already used to playing rust on pc so that's why I did so.
Ive been playing dayz recently and i like what they did There is a specific set of servers that let you use m&k. No need for special devices. There is a setting in the game that lets you turn on mouse and keyboard use on those specific servers. M&k just doesnt work on those servers that dont allow it I feel like this would be a good idea because i feel a lot of the community uses it anyway. And it would allow those people to compete against each other. OR people could just play fair Overall i think people should play the game the way the devs intended ON A CONTROLLER, no scripts, no m&k, no 3rd party devices

Cronus Zen IS WORSE THAN Mouse and Keyboard You get the advantages of analog movements and zero recoil from scripts Mnk alone cannot manipulate recoil like cronus zen. Mnk at least still has to combat the recoil where as cronus does not
Depends how easy Cronus zen is nowadays I remember people making tuts and was more of a pain to play on - to note tho a lot of Xim players I’ve spoken to came from zen and prefer Xim. Zen is worse but Xim is still in the same bracket not to mention people use both now

A cornus, xim is a third party software made to give you an unfair advantage when playing on console it’s no different than downloading a cheat software on pc same shit different wrapping

If you’re using m&k in any kind of game i think that’s totally fine…I’m a controller player and you’ll never hear me b*tch about someone else’s equipment unless it’s an actual cheat client and reduces your recoil then your garbage and need to find a different hobby. I have an elite series controller with paddle shifters so you could argue that I have a higher competitive edge than regular controller players.
The comparison of an elite controller compared to a mouse and keyboard is not a valid argument. For 1 the controller is licensed and a product of MS. 2nd mouse and keyboard is still a very different device than an elite controller, it’s still a controller not MnK
@ while i agree with you, most games are already going cross platform, MS gatekeeps all product compatability because of greed. (PS is has way more compatibility and less resistance). while i do find going against M&Ks a bit more challenging, its not impossible as we have aim assist on controller (ik its off on main servers rust), it’s not a huge difference if your sensitivity scale and skill is good enough, you’ll be just fine. Bypassing bogus restrictions set by mega corps has always been a thing and i don’t see anything wrong with using M&K on a console which is basically a gaming PC in essence . In summary i call it a skill issue but it’s always wise to consider the notable differences 💯
