Taylor K yes and no it’s why they make you stand in science lessons rather than sitting on the stool because accidents happen and you can spill things on your lap. If you’re moving hot pots, I wouldn’t risk it, even if you’re feet touch the floor your reaction time will be slower

_Pro tip: Put a frozen water bottle next to you on the seat and refreeze it inside a plastic bag so the bottle that touches the car seats doesn't get mixed with the other water bottles. This also works well if you use weighted blankets which can get hot._
