Daryl oozes with talent. Did you know that before he embarked on a music career, he was with a team of cartoonists that created the first animated series series in the Philippines? And before he finally achieved national recognition, he was part of a group of young men (Voice of Five) that did RnB and ballad covers similar in concept to the 80-90s boybands like Boys to Men. His fame rose when he auditioned for the Voice Philippines Season 2 where he showcased his amazing ability to add tasteful runs and riffs to familiar RnBs and ballads. Another must see is his cover of "Rude" (ruclips.net/video/3Roi554U2Ug/видео.html), "Dive" (ruclips.net/video/gN932zJc48Y/видео.html), and "Jeaolus (ruclips.net/video/YaQG33CY3Hk/видео.html)." Thank you again for helping to highlight Filipino talents in the international stage. You have the appreciation of the whole country.
FYI, the drummer is Mike Shapiro ( Katrina Velarde's significant other ) He was also the drummer to Katrina & Budakhel''s I'm Your Angel music video. ( See credits )
Brian McKnight is one of the best R&B singer and songwriter during the 90's. He is known for his high tone and riffs.
Brian Mcknight is a thing way back,and he is still.every Filipino singers still sing his songs.We grew up listening to different genre and singers.we really love our radio/videoke than our TV😅
Did u know that "In D Zone" is Daryl's own studio???..that finally finished and a bit delayed for finishing due to this pandemic and that is why Daryl is a bit lying low from his forte in singing maybe because his busy in his comfy studio, u can also watch his vlog in his about how and why he has that awesome, specialized and costumized studio..♥️♥️♥️ I love it. Yassss! Thanks for this! Bobby Velasco was also the musical arranger for Daryl/Kyla's 'WEAK' - you did rave over its instrumentation in your reaction video. Someone described Bobby as 'unorthodox', so, he and Daryl fit each other nicely. I call Daryl a vanguard - his vocal and artistic approach to his music and outsourcing stuff for his videos even back in the day when he was just starting out. You can tell that he spent money to come up with videos that didn't look haphazardly done.

Is brian mc knight not famous in your area/country? Was just asking because his one of the best vocally and he really influenced a lot of great rnb and ballad singers here in the phils. This arrangement is lit it has a jazzy,rnb,soul and ballad type of genre. Try reacting to bugoy's cover of one last cry live at danielles I think its a coffee shop. Daryl is a beast!! Thank you guys.
Am wondering too knowing that they are both musicians 🤔🙄.. I was asking then... Was it pretention? Its a big deal for me coz the one am spending my time and loving to watch are those natural and honest vlogger, reactor and so on.
They're still young I think. And maybe that kind of genre isnt that popular where they grow up.
@@camalusman7635 i think because when they were still young (in Venezuela ) the country is a lot different from Philippines where 70’s 80’s and 90’s music are still top notch to listen to and they went to live in UK and BRIAN MCNIGHT is already past his prime. I think they are still pretty young. We Filipinos are born with rnb’s music , love songs from 90’s music.
Camal Usman, yeah makes me laugh too when “musicians” do not know who Brian McKnight, Boyz to Men and the likes. They are as relevant as Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston etc.... Heck, my 25 & 18 year old daughters 13&16 nieces know most of their songs. I guess it the karaoke in the house!

Brian McKnight is also (I'm pretty sure at least) Daryl's biggest influence in his music! And, yeah, Brian's music is usually this complicated! So I'd really recommend listening to his stuff, real S+++ tier vocalist, musician, composer, lyricist, instrumentalist and everything else, plus he worked his way to the top in the 90s all by himself. Real musical genius, that man!
