I don’t think it’s necessarily abuse of power. It’s more of a lack of training. I work law enforcement and there are other no lethal force that could’ve been used instead of biting someone. This is absolutely crazy.

In Jamaica most citizens want to disrespect the police, in the US or other countries this could be way worse for this woman, she disobeyed all the commands of the officer. She was utterly disrespecting the police and resisting arrest. Most of who talking don't know the law. Foreign police would not put up with that lady, Donna you don't know the law, yes the police was rough but the lady was super aggressive. I'm done on this, she get charged, let the law takes its course.

What I saw is that the girl even admitted a she first go up and pointed to the police face . she was dealing with the police girl bad. she rip off all the buttons off the police girl shirt, grabbed up the police all her underwear, was showing,broke off the police necklace. People were begging the girl to let go off the police clothes and go in the car. the girl said the police have to let go off of her first. she bit the police first :it may look like the police should not have held on to her hair, but that's the only way she could have her under control.

They are both wrong. Where did the process go wrong? Where is the handcuffs? The woman should have complied and it would not have gotten so far.
I'm sorry, but resisting arrest was visible. However, the policewoman was totally overboard by pulling the civilian by her hair nonetheless using her mouth and teeth to bite the woman's finger 👉. She needs to be dismissed immediately from her post period.

I heard that there are more videos than the one shown. However, I can only speak to one. The motto of the Jamaica Constabulary Force is To Serve, To Protect and To Reassure. In my opinion, I did not see the motto on display at the scene. The lady disobeyed an order and resisted arrest. The police on the other hand uses excessive force to restrain the lady who did not pose a threat to the police. The seriousness of the bite is gross. What if someone had HIV? The tugging or the pulling of her hair was inhumane. For every action there is a reaction, therefore, the lady would try to defend herself. Even when she pinned the lady in the vehicle she was seen hitting and biting her. I hope she counter sue the police because professionalism was not observed. Another thing the lady could easily disarmed her of her gun and use it to injury or unalive her. Just let that make sense.
