I love how proud he is of his culture. Walter Affanasief one of the best US producer went to see him in Kazakstan to signed a contract he compose the song for the Titanic and worked with the best US musicians. but he told Dimash he had to sing only in English and pop Dimash refused saying i will never stop doing what i like. That is what i admire about Dimash he doesn't want to fit into US pop industry. He loves singing in 10 languages in one concert for him to give up such talent is like cutting the wings of a bird. He is his own boss with his father. That is why people from 76 Countries go to his concert. He is a milioner anyways he is very modest. he never showed off what he has. Thank you for your rection

I knew some of this but it makes sense now when I listened to Walter’s comments after Dimash released his latest smash masterpiece MV “When I’ve Got You”. To me he says he was Dimash’s friend, yet his comment was half hearted. I felt he was amazed Dimash could do without him or Hollywood. Yes, it is taking more time for the West to become familiar with him but alright. All his fans are dedicated to him, and his fan base keeps growing by word of mouth.

The crazy thing about this concert is - when the audience sings along in Qazak or Russian or Chinese, it's because a lot of people from those countries flew into New York for this concert! It's not because Americans learned the lyrics in those languages - some do, but most don't. It blows my mind thinking about all the fans that are so devoted they fly halfway around the world to hear him. What a fandom!
What you say is NOT accurate: MOST American Dears KNOW at least the refrain of the most popular Kazakh songs because they learn them by heart. I, myself, sing SEVEN FULL songs in KAZAKH, by heart: Makhabbat Ber Magan, Daididau, Unforgettable Day, Akkuym, Amanat, Omir Oter & Omir. I also know Love of Tired Swans by heart. Yes, it's true that there were Dears from (58 to 65) countries at the NY concert. And, as a matter of fact, there were very FEW Chinese Dears at the New York concert, because they were having trouble getting travel visas to the US at that time. And there may have been a few more Russians (living in the US) in attendance, that had just discovered Dimash two months earlier at Igor Krutoy's 65th Birthday celebration concert at the Barclay center.

Amazing how many people are able to learn his songs in the various languages. I never had a good memory. I am older too, so my memory is even worse:(. But, I listen to. Dimash everyday. All languages and genres are phenomenal. Much respect to those of you that are able to sing them by heart.❤

I am from California. I have watched Dimash everyday since I discovered him 2 1/2 years ago. Best singer in the world, and wonderful human being. Love is family and country. Love his Kazakh songs in his native language, as well as, and phenomenal songs in many languages and genres. A talent once in a million years.

What amuses me is watching people react to Dimash for the first time, not knowing who he is and having no clue that he's one of if not the biggest superstars on the planet with a fan base of millions of people all over the planet of all ages etc. This would blow their minds

I'm a 73 yr old woman who has a background who has played music since I was 7 and first plunking out tunes by ear. Engrossed totally through the decades....but never had the courage to brave the business and didn't want it to mess with my creative heart and direction. Now here is Dimash who has beaten the system and does it his own way.
Look at what can happen when an artist is allowed to be true to themselves.
Of course he has had great support, but he is adamant not to be owned.
When I first heard him on Singer....I was immediately smitten but mostly stunned and amazed at the level of emotional depth handled with the utmost finesse.
Dimash is that rare phenomenon where all the best elements collide and create magic. How can you not love him?

My favorite part of this concert is the look on his face when the audience joins in to sing Dadidau. He seemed so surprised and you can see his heart swell 10 times.

Those dancers behind Dimash are carrying out some amazing choreography but Dimash stage presence is so commanding when he sings, all the focus is 100% on him. Those dancers could be playing a game of 8 ball behind him and it wouldn't take anything away from his performance

I had two tickets for me and my daughter for his concert in Malaysia, gifted by two Dears who couldn't go and sadly at the last minute I had to cancel because we had a family emergency. BUT I believe I will have another chance and I will make sure I will make it the next time. I hope we all will have the luck to see Dimash at least once in our lifetime!

Love your reaction to Dimash's full NY concert. WOW! I have seen clips from the concert, but to see it all the way through in one shot! Wow! it's like I was there! Dimash is truly amazing. Yes, he is super talented and super humble and kind, because he always remember to thank EVERYONE. Wow! This is fantastic! I “found” Dimash just a few weeks ago, and I am hooked for sure! I dream of hearing him in person some day, but at age 77, my opportunities may be limited, so being able to watch Dimash this way is a real blessing! Thank you for making this possible! YES he is a light in the darkness! To think of his talent at 25 years old, the energy he puts into singing, the love he sends out to everyone, and the stunning production! I was only going to listen to a few songs, but I couldn't turn it off! Being at a concert of his is certainly on my bucket list, but just love how much impact there is watching him on a video. Thanks for showing it, my heart is full of love, peace and happiness watching this, and I'm so grateful for Dimash and all the joy and good energy he's brought to my life and the family of dears around the world.

I SOOOO wish I could persuade my hubby to go with me to a Dimash concert but he absolutely hates him and I don't know why. Maybe it's because he's tone deaf so can't appreciate the amazing sounds. Maybe he's jealous. Maybe he can't stand listening to me bang on about him all the time (I have stopped mentioning him actually but it's not helped!). So I'm off to his Budapest concert on 4th May on my own. I can't find anyone who wants to go with me and I find it really sad.
