Lol yea I’m not a huge fan of that trashcan type of snare, or whatever you wanna call it, but I do know for knocked loose’s genre and many other bands, a lot of people love it. What did you think of this song, compared to the prior release, blinding faith?
@@AAGraham000 I’d had to go back and listen to a different shade of blue to do a quick comparison, but yes I do remember loving the drums and overall mix of a tear in the fabric of life, for sure!
Ok cool, I’m glad I’m not the only one and then getting flamed for not liking the newest song as much lol 😂 I agree though man, they’re breakdowns are nice and I always love their lyrics a lot. Knocked Loose and Thrown really know how to write lyrics
Hey thank you for the comment, I’m glad you liked it! That’s interesting, which part are you referring to? Do you mean when he’s up top screaming “I dream of a cleansing wave”?
@@mourn_official referring to 1:50 when Brian’s vocals are featured…Then 1:59 there’s a little guitar groove. Never heard that type of groovy sound from them. Not a guitar player, so apologies if I’m using incorrect descriptions
@@derekspears2598Ohh ok yea I think I know what you’re talking about. Yea it is pretty neat. I like the song a little more now since this reaction video, but it’s still not as good as blinding faith, for me. Which one do you like more?
Ah ok, I appreciate the comment. Yea I’m definitely looking forward to hearing what the rest sounds like. I’m still excited for it, there will be a reaction video for it of course :)
I love how esoteric the lyrics and imagery is. Album title is chilling.
Yea same here, and yea the song title is pretty heavy and impactful on its own, for sure.
Best snare of 2024 wtf

My snare sounds similar but not quite as crisp. I love it
@@stevepage6027 Well I’m glad you love it, that’s good. You write music, too, or just play drums for fun?

For sure and 2 from sleep token “the summoning” or alkaline 😊
I liked this one. Definitely wasn't their best track or anything, but I still enjoyed myself
Well that’s good, I’m glad you still enjoyed yourself haha. Yea this one just wasn’t grabbing me as much as other songs by them do
Knocked Loose just manages to sound even harder with every breakdown, will this ever end? :D For me, Blinding Faith was also better though

The 2nd verse is exploring a bit w/ new sounds. I’ve never heard a KL groove riff before this song. And it highlights the vocals as well.
Dig it!

Blinding Faith, if I had to pick.
But I absolutely love to see how they’re progressing their sound!
@@derekspears2598 Nice, nice. Yea same here, looking forward to the next single if there is one, or the album. I think I heard it comes out next month
Cool perspective.
Vehemently disagree. Think this is the best KL song they’ve released. Seriously impressed and looking forward to the album.
