Jimin was really good at academically. Especially math and science🙄. Based on Korean sentiment, It isn't easy decision to send their child to art school. Especially if you were a parent with a child like Jimin. Who was excellent enough to be a class president for nine years and the top student among whole class.
I fell in love with Jimin when I saw him dancing, then his voice. But then, when I got to see a glimpse of Jimin’s personality, I fell in love with Jimin all the more. JIMIN is like oxygen I breathe. There’s not a day goes by without looking at a clip of Jimin whether it be his mesmerizing and powerful dancing, singing or him being goofy, mischievous and funny. I’ve never yet seen someone so inspiring like Jimin before. Extremely hard working, resilient, thoughtful, affectionate, caring, sincere, mischievous, goofy and many more. Now, I am also a mother with young children, so naturally, I began to wonder how he must have been raised to grow up to be such a wonderful person, for lack of better word. Watching some of these interactions of Jimin and his family taught me quite a bit. Unlike typical Korean (maybe most Asians) upbringing where parents try to discourage certain things/activities from their children in order to fit them into the mold that they envision for their children (sort of like Namjoons UN speech), Jimin’s parents seem to have been wholeheartedly supportive and loving. Jimin wanted to learn kendo because he wanted to be the best pirate swordsman after falling in love with a character in manga, and his parents lovingly supported him (would I lovingly support this innocence or would I try to instill reality to my children... shamefully probably the latter). How about when Jimin had so much prospect as a classically trained professional contemporary dancer from a prestigious art school in Korea, but yet he decided to throw it all away to be a singer, with no training. which he has the chance of 1 in a million in the notoriously cutthroat competitive field. But again, his parents supported him. Would I have? Honestly speaking, probably not. But now I know that this upbringing probably helped Jimin become who he is today. JIMIN seems to be a person with goals and purpose in life. In other words, he takes total ownership and control of his life and actions. In contrast, children who grow up being forced to be a shadow of what their parents set out for them, most of them do not have control of their lives. It’s almost as if they don’t own their lives. I am Asian and I lived this, and I hated this. However, now that I am a mother, I find myself doing the same thing to my own children. I didn’t even realize that I was doing this until I started to reflect upon myself after seeing Jimin. I have so much respect for his loving and supportive parents. Jimin is so loving. He knows how to be loved and wholeheartedly appreciate the love and return the love. It’s probably possible because he was so loved by his parents. We all love our children but sometimes we don’t know how to love the right way, against our true intentions. I learn from Jimin everyday. He makes me want to be a better person and better parent. He teaches me to stay resilient in difficulties. I just love Jimin with all my heart just the way he is, not because he is perfect but because he is someone who is so beautiful inside and out. Remember when jimin kept his promise and re-visited an orphanage on his rest day to spend time with the kids and keep his promise of performing for them. He has the kindest heart & I'll never forget that. and they still ask me why im in love with this man 😔❤
His father and him always donate to people around him and also he has donated to many students. He always helps everyone around him. He always thinks he has to give how much he owns. Yes. As someone with (far from top grades) the grades required to do both music and law, I opted out of music because I was scared about job prospects. They're brave people for letting him take that route, but they sure as hell made the right decision :)

The only thing I know is that Jimin's parents must be the best parents in the world, they have raised and made a man too beautiful not only physically but also soul. You can see the good education and love they gave him and his brother, his father recently made an anonymous donation on behalf of Jimin to an area very affected by the floods and floods that hit his country to re-establish one of the affected schools and other works, this is all known by media filtration not by the family directly, the love that surrounds its core is something true and very beautiful.

Even when his members held onto that stuff in the past he broke out of it and encouraged them to think differently. it's very telling because he grew up in busan which is known to be a very traditional gender city that encourages toxic masculine. his parents supported him in contemporary dancing, being a kind hearted person, exploring himself and being unafraid to express emotions and affection. they raised a beautiful person in a warm and healthy environment and jimin created that same open and free environment within bts where they believed in being 'manly'
The Park family is the best. You can see that Jimin grew up in a loving, positive and supportive household. I will always be grateful to his parents for raising an awesome son like Jimin and for supporting his dreams. Im pretty sure his younger brother is also a wonderful person.

I wish I had a close relationship with my parents. We used to be close when I was a kid but I realized that we have far too many different morals. I wish I could say "I love you" or carry a conversation with them without feeling discomfort. If I can't find comfort in my family at least I have BTS, they're my chosen family and my comfort, they found me when I needed them most. I just hope that I can find people I'm comfortable with and show them compassion that I haven't shown to many people.

Thats why jimin and jk's relationship is so special actually. Jk has an older brother who is jimin's same age and jimin's younger brother is jk's same age. They've both said their own sibilings sometimes get jelous over how close they are. Which I honestly understand as BTS members could only see their family once or twice a year for a long time.
I saw that BTS run episode and a vid of him talking to his dad on the phone. The way he talks to his parents sound so lovely. He used "nupimal" which is the polite way of talking to someone.. The way he also talks to them, like the tone of his voice and all are all endearing even when he talks to the other members and other people..

it's very telling because he grew up in busan which is known to be a very traditional gender city that encourages toxic masculine. his parents supported him in contemporary dancing, being a kind hearted person, exploring himself and being unafraid to express emotions and affection. they raised a beautiful person in a warm and healthy environment and jimin created that same open and free environment within bts where they believed in being 'manly'
When I got to know Jimin, I directly wonder how his parents, what kind of family do he have.. he proved that he raised from King and Queen.

I wish I had a close relationship with my parents. We used to be close when I was a kid but I realized that we have far too many different morals. I wish I could say "I love you" or carry a conversation with them without feeling discomfort. If I can't find comfort in my family at least I have BTS, they're my chosen family and my comfort, they found me when I needed them most. I just hope that I can find people I'm comfortable with and show them compassion that I haven't shown to many people.

Jimin and his dad have made multiple donations to schools, i think thats because Jimin didn’t have the resources to keep on going but because his teachers saw talent in him they let him have classes for free so i think he sympathizes and thats just so adorable :(

Thats why jimin and jk's relationship is so special actually. Jk has an older brother who is jimin's same age and jimin's younger brother is jk's same age. They've both said their own sibilings sometimes get jelous over how close they are. Which I honestly understand as BTS members could only see their family once or twice a year for a long time.

I saw that BTS run episode and a vid of him talking to his dad on the phone. The way he talks to his parents sound so lovely. He used "nupimal" which is the polite way of talking to someone.. The way he also talks to them, like the tone of his voice and all are all endearing even when he talks to the other members and other people..
