I'm getting a Sportsman 570 next month. I'll get the dual A arm set up for sure, however, I'm a bit undecided on whether to get the one with Ohlins suspensions or the one with stock suspensions. I like the idea of having the premium suspension but I'm afraid it's going to be stiffer than the stock one, and comfort is more important for me than control at high speeds. Is the Ohlins version less comfortable than the stock one? Thanks.
Hi Dorel, thanks for getting in touch! To answer your question, the Öhlins spring rate is greater in comparison to standard models, and whilst comfort is difficult to measure as it fluctuates with every rider and weight, for the average rider you might find the initial feeling to be ‘stiffer’... On the Öhlins model specifically, the damping characteristics have been modified to improve chassis control, and after reaching mid speeds, you will notice a difference in vehicle control and stability. The ride height vs load capacity change has been significantly improved in comparison to stock suspension (ride height is less sensitive to load capacity). Not related to handling, but worth noting, the Öhlins coilover weight, durability and lifetime is also improved, and should be fully rebuildable in every Öhlins service facility. I hope this helps with your decision, but either way, we hope you enjoy your new Sportsman! :)
Please can you confirm if in Europe the Sportsman 570 SP titanium/grey has RIDE COMAND so there is pairing with Polaris Ride Comand app, geofencing, engine modes, etc? Thank you
Hello! The 2021 Sportsman 570 EPS SP does not have RIDE COMMAND, although the Agri Pro special edition features a speed variation and geofencing functionality via the Polaris Ride Command App.
@@PolarisOffRoadInternational Thank you for confirming! I think i will get this version anyway, High Performance AWD(close ratio), Bluetooth, Active descent control, Adjustable Front Suspension with Front Arched Double A-Arms and the gorgeous Titanium color ! I am sold ! Keep up the good work!
