Nice fight with Black Peter. Really great defense, I've yet to see a video where "Henry" wasn't poisoned by his sword, that was brilliant. Thanks, great series.
At 37:02 you could have ask to negotiate with Wolflin of Kamberg. That is what Sir Hanusch asked you to do (prevent bloodshed), and you would have learned more about Wolflins background story and his friendship with Sir Radzig.
Oooo if I approached Wolfin before seeing Captain Bernard? I want to try that next time around. Although it was nice to babysit Sir Hans and watch him slay in that battle.
@@heyamarii No, it's a dialogue option (at 37:01) when reporting back to Bernard. Then Bernard gives you a Waffenrock (tunic) with the colours of his house, an you need to go to Wolflins camp back unarmed. Before doing the Hans Capon DLC, you should get the Pribyslavitz Boar from your own brewery that you gain better luck at dice. And the armorsmith in Pribyslavitz should have the best shield in the game (boarback shield).
I thought that black Peter would try to poison you, but I guess that works too 🤣The tourney difficulty really ramped up that time, I thought you were a goner there for a minute. You pulled it off though. GF Sir Henry ⚔
The tourney is actually kind of fun, I just wish I could do more combos instead of banking on master strikes all the time. Being clotheslined killed my pride more than any poison could have 😂
I think you didn't get poisoned because you were in full plate and his sword couldn't cut you. I was in my town's clothes when he ambushed me - it was rough lol. Well done! Hunting swords were often built in the "Messer" style. German for knife. There used to be a ban on swords for the public in Germany so to get around that ban people made really large knives with cross guards instead. They usually have integral pommels, full width tangs, riveted handle shells and were single edged.Whereas swords have separate pommels, the tang goes through the middle of the handle and they can be double edged. By local definition back then anyway. Last contestant was German, translations are: Du Hund - You dog Hundsfutt - dog's c*nt (very outdated and / or regional) Verdammt noch mal - damn it Verrecke - die slowly Geh zum Teufel - go to hell (lit. devil) Kacke - poo Schei... oh, okay then :D You fought so well! Nicely done.
I think Mutt got poisoned :(( that’s why he ran off. Poor boy. That startled me! lol I didn’t know I could get clotheslined like that. That’s awesome about the hunting swords. We have something similar here that was originally designed as a bush knife, but was also welded as a weapon. Thanks for the German translations, I like to know how I’m being insulted so I can be amused 😂
@@heyamarii Ohhh that makes sense too. Poor thing, always in the wrong spot.. Oh yeah that clothes line got me good too. Tree branches, doorways etc will do the same thing if you try to gallop underneath / through. Necessity is the mother of invention. Interesting. It was pretty funny. Most of those are really tame or not even aimed at you. :D It's almost got a little ironic tone to it, like if it was role-play with a kid lol. (except the Hundsfutt at least in my region) Like I call my friends "Hund" all the time :D
when you didn't have the light the guards were so dramatic 😂 btw even sneaking to your room won't save you they will wake you up. happened to me few times I almost had a heart attack 😂 they freaking woke me up for not having a light ffs! 😅
3:33 let’s go!!! Being very careful helped you there lol he uses Bane on his weapon but you only got hit a few times so you got him before he got you! He killed me with it this playthrough cause I wasn’t as skilled yet when he ambushed me. I’m assuming he poisoned the son while the son was celebrating or something 6:00 I hope Mutt didn’t get poisoned there.. 6:33 oh crap yea I think Mutt got poisoned. He does that yelping if he gets hit too much 😮 he tanked the poison for you
I’m so glad I didn’t win that tourney until I was armoured up and more skilled, or I would have been dead! That POS clotheslined me! What a tool 😂 I wish he stayed around longer to be my long time nemesis, he’s such a goof. Poor Mutt! I think babydog got poisoned :(( what a good boy, he tanked that like a real friend
@@heyamarii you’ve definitely mastered the master strikes tho! And don’t worry, you’ll find interesting characters enough to be mad at in the main story 👀
Important warning on the subject of group riding: At the end of the Main Quest you get an Epilogue where you ride and talk with Sir Hans and the game is meant to temporarily de-buff your Horse's speed to match Han's to make this easier. This can bug out and becomes permanent spoiling your horse if you want to continue playing and exploring the World after the Main Quest is finished. Exchange your horse before this so another horse gets de-duffed then you can buy it back.
Woah thank you for this heads up! I’m glad my question about group riding actually brought this to attention because I do want to keep this world going post game to have more of a look around
Black peter does use poison. Ypu just beat him so handily that he never got the chance to poison you. Hes the only enemy in the game who poisons his weapon.
At 3:24 you can see Black Peter hitting Mutt. Two minutes later: "Why is my dog running away. I think he got tired fighting Black Peter." Bane potion is much slower but does more damage than normal poison. Poor Mutt. Maybe an antidote on some dogfood would have helped.
I wish Black Peter stayed around longer, he’s so entertaining for a nemesis by setting a trap for me. Very unique that he poisoned his own weapon, I didn’t think that was a possibility. Poor Mutt! If I realised he was poisoned, I would have given him an antidote
- Hey blacksmith, do you remember the guy who killed your son?
- Yes
- Mind if I sell his stuff to you?
A little memento 😄

Mutt got the brunt of the poison :(( I felt so bad when I realised that’s why he ran off yelping
@@heyamarii Oh my god that's horrible.

I always do the skirmish anyway since it’s more fun and it allows Sir Hans to show his competence in battle and in leading troops

(52:58) Pretty crappy weapons?? But... but... they had pointed sticks!!! My faith is shaken to its core! ;)
Omg the sticks on the floor!!! Nooooooo
