I am so happy you mentioned the health. I've been saying it about other games for years. "My heals and your damage mean little if you die from one hit."
Played at release and dropped off after a few months, just dropping by to say a massive thank you for the guides/info about healing you've been putting out, really helped bring me back to the game. Keep doing what you're doing mate!
Great video! I’m glad I found your channel, I totally agree with running more con. I don’t like healing people that run five constitution because they get mad if they die and you can’t give all the healing to the one jerk that thinks he doesn’t need to actually run any constitution. I also agree on 350 focus and 250 con for the healer I have not noticed any difference in my healing from when I was 400 focus 200 con - all that I have noticed is that there is a much better chance that I’m not going to die with the 250 con rather than the 200.
You can also do light pants, then 1 light and 2 heavy of the head/gloves/boots. Grabbed some frigid dawn and makes you feel really tanky despite being light.
Cool video and nice to see you use Featherweight now vs. Attuned for that extra defense. I fully agree 5 CON in random groups is a death sentence but damn, things must be rough on fresh start if you need to run 250 CON 😲 I've always maintained SoL was underrated, especially back when the range was insane. That being said for melee groups Orb of Protection is still my preference. Excited to see what your next videos will be about, wouldn't mind a full PvP focused video. Also if you don't know about it you should check out nw buddy, it might come in useful to showcase the ideal build vs. what you were able to get in-game. Keep up the good content !
I’ll check out nw buddy! And yeah, build always be a changing lol. That being said, adjusting attributes to match the needs of the situation always will be a thing. And yeah, 250 con is a lot IMO, but these people are all running 5-50 con and are getting slapped in mutations. I’ve moved to testing out DE, but it is still questionable as to if I can be as effective with it right now. Love the comments and suggestions!
Woah woah woah you can change the attributes along with gear??? How I'm on Playstation or is it just for pc, i know i can do item load out but i thought it was just for the gear not attributes
I'm sitting with 150 int, 350 focus, and 100 con. Currently trying to upgrade my featherweight to 725 and will have that and Lifetaker at 725. I'll need to upgrade my gear cause some of it is 688-699 and I need to get that up to 700.
Yes, but I can’t pass up the 30% extra healing you get from running light. Also, best armor set for medium is heavy chest, rest medium. Get Void Darkplate when barnacles comes back around and that comes out to be about 2000 armor
IMO it's not really worth upgrading featherweight to 725 if you have other stuff to upgrade... the perks don't get better, and the armor increase is super small since it's light armor.. .unless there's something I'm missing
I agree with that now after doing it, but I did have an armor matrix and it’s the only thing armor wise I could 725 with it while waiting for drops to happen
Hello fellow Hudsonland! This really helps me, cause I run a healer. I tend to back off when running M2 and haven’t ran Gorgon yet. Thank you again! Feel free to add me and my husband, Violaz (mine) Charlieway (husband). We love running cheat runs, expeditions, and mutated.
Totally something people need to look into. There’s an armor weight calculator you can look at for new world that helps. For light, it’s light pants, featherweight, and 2/3 are heavy between head, hand, and boots. The third is light. For example: heavy head, featherweight chest, light hands, light legs, and heavy boots! 12.9 is max weight to have for light. For a round shield build, it’s medium everything except featherweight and one light piece of head hand or boots
I see that you’re over the stacks of refreshing on your gear. Is that ok? I’d assume it’s a dead perk since you’re over the limit. Only asking cuz I have too many refreshing pieces on my load out as well. My RNG is ass so I haven’t gotten anything good to replace those pieces.
100%! I’ve been farming this ring this week as well. Gotten that roll twice, but I’d rather have sacred instead of hearty. Matrix’s are so expensive right now to just roll the perk I want, so the grind continues!
Best healing artifacts for us healers are ? Weapon ? Armor ? Jewelry ? Is it lifetaker for weapon? Is it nimble coat or featherweight for armor? What about jewelry? I currently have blooddrinker. What’s best artifacts for healer?
I think I answer a lot of that in this video! Lifetaker for VG, any blessed/refreshing move Life staff. Healing breeze/sacred on ring Featherweight all the way Blooddrinker is amazing, but healing breeze is better overall
Thank you for this video. been trying to find a recent healer POV video to talk perks and such. I feel so dumb i had a Refreshing move/Blessed/Orb 687 staff sitting in my storage. It's so hard to know if a perk will be game changing like refreshing move lol. I also have that same staff you are using. Can you upgrade it to 725 with a coconut like Artifacts or only 700 max for named Legendary?
Ref. Move and Blessed are must-haves on Life Staff. For VG Ref. Move is very useful and Blessed can potentially be useful if you rely a lot on VG for heals too. I would probably stick to a weapon perk though. Ref. Move does not work sheathed because it relies on attacks from your ACTIVE weapon, so your Life Staff attacks won't reduce your VG cooldowns and vice-versa.
Correct. Blessed on VG only works when the void gauntlet is out, so I don’t find it very useful as you swap to it, throw an ability and then swap back to life staff, so it doesn’t help a bunch. Refreshing move is always great to keep cooldowns moving down, but it isn’t required in void gauntlet as there are already built in ways to lower cooldowns with critical hits. That being said, it comes on lifetaker, which is a bonus!
@@darkenedcyrusgames It depends on playstyle too, I find I can throw my LS heals, switch to VG to join DPS and rely on the Voidcaller proc to extend heals long enough for the fight to be over. So often times I only switch once. That being said weapon perk is just more versatile, especially if you plan on using Lifetaker in PvE and PvP 😁
What role would flail/lifestaff be? Tank? I'm new to the game, trying to see what i enjoy the most and that seems fun. Sword/greataxe is kinda boring... and life/void is also kinda boring for healing
Healer, dps, tank, anything really. The flail can do a good bit of healing to your team and can be a great option if you get tired of the void gauntlet. Is it better? I don’t think so, but it is a different play style. You can go full heavy armor with life staff and flail and have a really tanks build as well. Just change splash out for orb and enjoy a bunch of extra armor with fortify!
rapier/life staff. Lights Embrace with the weapon perk on life staff for haste. And depends on what role as a healer you have. If AoE, then splash, beacon, SG. Front line healer? Orb, LE or DE, and Sacred. 200 con minimum
Yep, but featherweight and what it offers is just that good. I do love attuned leather pants. There is a chest piece that lowers cooldowns even more, but its locked behind the pvp track and that grind is real...
How is it possible that I am not light when I have everything as you said? Light Head, Chest, Glowes, Pants and Heavy Shoes + Round Shield? In the final I'm 15.9 and not like you 12.4.
I'm 63 a i did a dungeon yesterday, some tank was using something that was constantly ticking his health down it was terrible, then the next group i did a tank with gs and axe like 3 hits his health would be down and I'm running around like shit shit shit I'm on cd... made me look like i couldn't heal
@@darkenedcyrusgames all berserk/social distancing/2 into ragging torrent for the haste buff. and defy death. The haste from the three abilities plus the slow is whats saving your life. Blooddrinker is amazing, just can't roll healing breeze. IMO, blooddrinker is still very viable as a VG/LS healer, but if you want maximum heals, get the Vivify ring from tempest this week as its mutated or find a good healing breeze ring on the market
