I really like this series! I feel kinda bad because it looks like Jordan has fun when he plays this, but everyone want him to stop playing Hardcore mode. It's fun to have a goal, right? And the feeling when you reach it and actually do something you didn't think was possible. It's also interesting (at least for me) to learn how it looks in other countries and to see a bit of culture in different parts of the world. If you don't like this kind of videos then you maybe should watch some other of his awesome videos, or maybe something totally different. And just saying "stop with this" doesn't help. Say what you want to see instead of what you don't want to see. Constructive criticism is key, folks!
I would honestly have less of a problem with Jardon's obsessive pursuit of "20000 in hardcore mode" if he'd vary it up a little. If he did this every other video instead of every single video, at least he'd be providing the variety that his viewers want. I'm all for people having a goal, and having fun chasing said goal, but when it's all you ever do you lose sight of other things in your life. In this case, because he's been at it for no fewer than 10 episodes of geo guesser in a row, I think people who were initially asking nicely are entitled to be 'short and to the point' with him about it. Never rude, but definitely not required to dress it up in a sugar coated, pretty little bow anymore. :/

This was a nice trip to new places and an education about where Geoguessr goes. Pretty unexpected and filled with new ways to make it hard to figure out. Very fun. Plus, darn impressive guess this episode, too, though considering last time with France, it shouldn't be a surprise these days. That was out of left field, almost. Round 1 Brazil one: Good signage, the "do" is certainly a clue, as is the combo "nh" to it being Portuguese. Not looking like Portugal, then, it was nice to be able to narrow it down to one country. Not a bad guess by Jordan. I would have lucked out. I wasn't thinking Rio, no mountains, or Sao Paulo, not as crowded, or right next to the coast. But, crazy enough, the only city name I could remember was Belo Horizonte. Brazil two: Jungley-ness, really? lol. Lucky for that sign. That honestly did not look like any other image we've gotten from Brazil. Well, at least the bulk of the trees. Some with the high but sparser canopy looked more, well, jungle like. If not for that sign... As to where, I had to go as far west as possible with the mountain in the background. So, not so lucky this time. Thailand: Didn't think it would be that far away from Bangkok, Google surprised me. I went west of the city towards the, sigh, peninsula. That whole dangly part is very touristy so it would make sense for an image to come from there, I thought. Oh well. Japan: What! That was pretty crazy. Jordan's Trafalgar, my Waterloo. After he started talking I realized he could be very right. I remember looking up street view after the big earthquake in Japan. They had images from after the tsunami incredibly. And yeah, it started to make sense. I try to pick a guess with the sound off. Let's just say I went Europe and leave it at that. Italy: Woo, I've been all into Italy lately thanks to a movie. I saw the word Veneto on the sign and thought of Venice right away. But, that city is flat and near the water, so I went inland, but still somewhat close. I feel good about that one anyway. Once you see more of the language and figure out it is Italy, then almost no guess will be that far off, not like Portuguese and Brazil. Gotta give up for that Japan guess. That was really good. The whole round was darn good. I don't feel all that bad about everything else for me, either. I got an excellent hit with Belo Horizonte and got real close with Italy. I was happy about that last one. This was an interesting journey with the images too. It feels like they must have added to the pool of images. Round 2 Italy: And there goes everything from that last guess in the first round,down the drain. It was hard to place. With a rocky beach, non descript pier, and palm trees. I thought I saw some plant that looked like the flower part of a yucca. I considered maybe Spain, Portugal, or the islands around that side of Europe until that one plant. Then I went coastal Mexico. What a bare section of coast that was. Canada: Welp, Newfoundland. At least Jordan went east. I stuck it out in the west. Should have known. I remember looking up where Christmas trees come from and all the different kinds. Saw some tree farms from that area of the continent. That town, They are Canadian, so they may take it all in stride and probably pronounce it way different somehow. Brazil: We've definitely gotten similar images to that, a few times now. Feels kinda sad, that was probably all covered with rainforest before. A center Brazil guess was very fair. Russia: I finally think of going with a France guess after a couple of bad misses...Alas. I considered maybe it was near the eastern side of France. It does get mountainous like that. And those colored gates, seemed like an image that Jordan had guessed successfully on. The extent street view goes through Russia has surprised me, especially this episode. Considering the ongoing issue between Russia and Ukraine, this was somewhat close to that area. Brazil 2: I saw the building in the background had the word "churrascaria" on it. We have those kinds of restaurants around my area. They are Brazilian and they are known for serving tons of meat on swords. I saw the S and P on the road sign and thought maybe near Sao Paulo. So, pretty good for me. Given the size of Brazil, without that highway sign I could have easily made a guess farther away than Jordan did. Tough round of images. Italy and Canada were just going to be hard to figure out without more details. Some of the most difficult to guess images have been from the fact that Google really goes to so many unexpected places. Though, has there every been an image from Chile? Just thinking, that if, there are any from near the Andes, he's not going to have much problem with them. Ah well. This was a learning round I think and not really frustrating, like the second round from last episode. This felt more fun.
In Sweden Lidköping there is one particular mountain called Kinnekulle that if it would exist in Geoguesser you would guess Australia beacuse the mountain looks nothing like the Swedish mountains, take a look for your self.
