This album embodies; at least in part, my summer when this film came out. I played the soundtrack on tape endlessly on my car stereo as I drove a newspaper delivery route before sunrise every morning. I have always loved the heavy brass and percussion sections in Brian May’s music here.
I like all of it and for so many reasons. But one of my favorite things is the blast of brass that sounds so suspenseful and aggressive and yet not sloppy or violent.
It should never be remade, and as for the upcoming Fury movie...can't say I'm very keen. It won't have music this good, for starters; very few movies these days have half decent scores, directors don't seem to respect real composers anymore
Some soundtracks you can instantly recognize. This is one of those. It fit the film like a glove, and likewise, the film to it. Thanks for providing this rip 👍

Yeah, the sound really owns the picture, in a sense. Man, that opening...it kicks so much ass, action films are still trying to catch up.

Thank you for ripping and sharing this! An excellent and often overlooked soundtrack.
As for the road warrior that was the last we ever saw of him
