Sermon on Lame Man at Beautiful Gate by Grace Mwende

Peter and John had gone to the temple with the Intention to pray. They met the lame man with the expectation to receive alms from them. However Peter and John had a better gift, which was to manifest God's Power at work and bring glory to His name. When all the people the lame man walking and praising God, they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
We learn that we should keep asking from the Lord. In the presence of God, your situation will never remain the same. Never cease to serve God, let not your physical condition such as an ilness hinder you from serving God. Keep on thanking God everyday.
Set your hour of prayer every day. Always prepare your mind for action. Be self-controlled and set your hope fully on the grace to be given when Christ is revealed. Sow in Christ rather than in the flesh, and have faith in Christ.
