- Made this video to compare GBB videos side by side to find out which is 'the best GBB' :O ultimately, the answer to that will vary between person based on which aspects of GBB matter more to you :)
Either way, ready for some fun analysis? We won't be covering all aspects of the GBBs, maybe next time :P but in this video, we take a look at the 1st Place Solo Eliminations as a rough standard for each GBB, looking at the beatbox level, audio and video production quality!

idk how to explain it, but gbb participants now just dont have as much aura as the previous ones
100 percent agree. The technical skills are better but some kind of vibe, or heart and soul or something.. is missing.
I think because there was much more identity in the earlier days. Ill admit tho i can feel the aura with abo ice because he is an innovator
This
@@liamnelly Of all the new gen, for me Abo Ice and Osis are definitely the most interesting. They are on this crazy new level of technique magic (and maybe Nyro could join them if he gets it together). But I think they lack a certain kind of musical ambition like Den, Wing, D-Low, Codfish, B-Art, Hiss, Show-Go, Improver etc. If they could infuse what they are doing with a bit more heartfelt musicality, I think they could explode like no one before.
There are many things, but the main thing is that it has become too focused on technicality, battle is barely part of it anymore it is just who can make the craziest sounds and loudest.
Juliard did okay this year but he would have been completely crushed in any of the previous GBB, he would barely have made it through eliminations.
2019 is the best gbb era
Me 2018 and 2021 bro
Completely agree!
Facts
not really but it was the one who made beatbox more popular
Totally the best. People fixate on technical skills improving.. but there is more to music than that.
For me it was Gbb 2018 because there is was no hiding videos because of the ranking or putting them as an artist like Gbb 2021 did. And the Man of Culture ' Maddox and his team did a legendary work in producing and editing Gbb videos.
i miss man of culture madox
We have a better editor now tho
🚂
@@Sproogy I didn't say that Pacmax is bad, but I miss the old producers.
I had 0 idea that Madox had any help in post-production of GBB until just now...
@@CorsonDrax Chezame did too
2019 felt like a whole concert and party at once and the videos sound amazing. Bigger stages just don't seem all that natural to me. 2021 is still the second best one imo. Beatboxing level has clearly upgraded from year to year though.
yeah my thought exactly, gbb was just a stage and the beatboxers made it huge, and now its like gbb is a huge and overshadows the participants
Notice how all of the ones that are considered good we're when they weren't in Japan.
Their argument is that "beatbox is big in Japan" okay cool then why are your views and gbb livestream viewership crashing more and more year over year.
Make an event in Indonesia or Thailand that is cheaper to travel to so gbb guests don't have to sleep in fucking hostels and capsule hotels. Indonesia has a big beatbox scene and also has shown multiple times that they appreciate the attention (eg ishowspeed)
It is everything from vibe, audio quality, participants, (what people do after or during circle jams) it is also about interaction with others, does anyone here remember sbx summer camp?
Then from a marketing standpoint, they don't allow streamers to react to their livestream, which make sense because sbx is gonna lose so much money (sarcasm) from the 3-4k people watching the stream, excluding the final.
There is so much that sbx is doing wrong besides the obvious during the show.
Ain’t no one going to Indonesia 💀🙏
2021 sound quality was real baad but, in terms of battles, it was the best imho.
And i would put that over sound quality so for me 21 was the best
@jacksunbbx The videos are way way better then the livestream's sound quality. A lot of drops just didn't came out properly in the livestream than it should have been. But, the videos quality are actually cool.
rip dlow and codfish era
@@roboket3524 Yeaah, 2016-2019 was something special. That era was the golden era of beatboxing I think. Especially 2019. I have never been so hyped as I was then. But, I still say that in terms of the level of battles, the year 2021 was the strongest. At least in this regard for sure.
@@SzaBeat0407 just Imo the top 10 drops of 2019 was top level!
I miss GBB18/19 for the nostalgia, but the level is undeniably going up. I wouldn't say beatboxers are necessarily getting more talented, but the diversity of sounds being used and the size of the community have seen insane growth in recent years. I think this makes it increasingly more difficult to find a unique style/sound. It definitely feels like the top battlers are generally able to incorporate new school sounds into routines with cleanliness and structure.
I really appreciate how you incorporated production value into your rankings! It was cool to see where we agreed and disagreed.
P.S. I have to say, my favorite GBB performances will always belong to Elisii, NaPoM, and WinG! And of course, respect to Alexinho, Gene, Dharni, etc. as well
respect for ellisi
I think we lack crowd vibe also becouse of japonese super polite culture...
Biggest downfall is video quality imo, 2019 goated, afterwards production sufferred.
The loss of Madox was felt.
@adexplorers wait, Madox edited GBB?
@@CorsonDrax film and edit. Don't remember if he did GBB18 but he definitely did GBB19
2021, sure the sound quality was bad, but the atmosphere, the crowd, the battles were peak.
Was 2021 significantly worse sounding than 2019? If so, why? I always thought there was a quality gap. I just never understood the reason.
@@CorsonDrax stage was a lot bigger prolly thats why.
2019 was goated. Every battle was hype af both solo and loop
River's gotta be the only one to rank first in elim AND win the competition. Ice's battle against remix just made me extremely sad.
BizKit also
river, bizkit, sarukani, rogue wave, jairo, middle school (not sure), is all i could think of. ik it’s not solo but i did this for fun
@@pythonbbxhi python
that just shows how low the standard was during 23
@@pythonbbx middle school got 1st yea
Ah, and there’s more. Second opinion.
The breakup of reaction couple Chezame and Sxin caused beatbox to decline in the media.
In my opinion I would like to stay:
GBB 2021 was the biggest beatbox festival of this era❤🎤🎶
NaPoM vs River was the best battle we’ve gotten in years
i LOVE the screams coming from audience during Inertia's elimination. also yeah, they should improve the camera shots. ESPECIALLY judge cam.
Yeah, 2024 elims vids only few has hiss reaction
yeah, they are only showing Napom's reaction
3 cookies for 2024? Everyone complained that the audio specially on the elims was terrible
Honestly the main issue i see is that, the winners stop competing once they win, this means we have no frame of reference for who's the best in the world because they dont verse each other.
So to me it just seems that its the best beatboxer on stage not the best beatboxer in the world (even though they probably are better/on par with those not competing)
An excellent point. The competitions lose so much drama with winners withdrawing.
Stitch didn't even get passed. To me the modern trend to just a bunch of squishy farty noise isn't my bag. I like clean, precise placement and feel, intricate but precise, and musically constructed and composed with well hit unique timbres.
Been into the beatbox scene since 2015, can agree that more(complex) sounds at the cost of precision has been the biggest downfall of beatbox.
Wing gives me hope that there's still some semblance of precision in the scene, along with other musical biased beatboxers. Only the loopstation category is keeping me connected with these scene right now.
There’s a sound like spitting out watermelon seeds that newer artists like Julard are incorporating into all of their fills. It sounds horrible mixed in with the rest of the percussion to me, but I guess they like it simply because it adds another note.
For me 2021 will be forever the best, the competition was wild with all the legends, wildcards that placed 10th would had placed top 3rd this year, the audio of the crowd really gives a vibe of how powerfull the beats were and how much it catched the crowd, the shots were amazing, the battles were insane every single one of them, also amazing content like the biggest circle jam ever and others, but thats just my opinion
Gbb 2021 in terms of battles, 24 for enjoyment, 2019 and 2018 nostalgia
@@callendunne9156 YESS
The year Napom won, Codfish won and D-Low won will me more relevant to me than any other compared
The year Colaps won too
exactly
Beatbox on a single mic peaked in 2019.
Loop station on the other hand is still continuing to grow.
Bringing Madox back will fix the videos's storytelling by far. Also the loopstation category makes the audio and video production differences really stand out. The camera work on Frosty vs Rythmind was amazing. The emotional storytelling in 2021 Robin vs Bizkit and Robin elimination was really astonishing! Even Stitch's elimination from 2021 had a nice drone camera interaction gahahh
Why doesn't anyone talk about the MISSING BASS on GBB 2024? I'm sure it's not my headphones.
Compare Remix in Hater elim and GBB elim, it doesn't have a low-bass sound! Or in GBB 2023, it's so powerful and rich with bass.
Helium inward bass doesn't feel good and full,on GBB 21 and 23, it feels much better.
That's right, 2024 the bass is not strong enough and the audience's voice is also lacking. So it makes my ears hurt a little
I was just about to say this. The 2024 GBB sound feels very flat and raw, with a noticeable lack of bass. It reminds me of the sound from HATEN 2024. It’s unfortunate because it makes participants' drops feel anticlimactic, which is far from the reality. This could influence how we perceive the beatbox level as online listeners.
@@Nazcabeats love your videos, legend
@@sowa1894 Ay thanks bro!
I agree with you. The sound system in this year is not good for bass-beatboxer especially Kaji pig bass even I use my expensive ear phone.
But for technique-beatboxer like Julard , osis the sonud is rather good for me.
Bro's making this video ranking also the audio quality and is using whay it seems to be lower end in ear headphones.
You deserve soo much more for what you have made for the community
The only miss big thing about gbb21 it's the "artist" and the drama who caused that... the biggest gbb in terms of participant and that makes so much variety, we can see almost all of the topgun's and there's exciting newcomers with different styles... and because of so many participants that's makes it harder for each beatboxers to win the competition, that makes more interesting for us viewers to watch... most memorable gbb for me, there's so many good routines that come out... and one thing to not forget there's no robbed results at the elim😂 (as far as i remember) (except the elisi vs alem which happen at the top 16 KO)
GBB 16 to GBB 21 was the best era
2018 - 2019 best imo
It depends when you get into bbx. I got into it from hikakin/daichi/reeps one/krnfx/Napom when I was around 10 years old, stopped, then came back during 2021 GBB. Since 2021 GBB was the one I was most invested in, with the highest beatbox level, it tends to be much more nostalgic and memorable to me. If you look at it objectively, I think 2021 is probably the greatest. The production was amazing, the videos are done so that the stage and crowd look massive (more than they already were), it was like an EDM set. The audio on videos is great, and to me it just seems so perfectly done Im not even sure how to get that back other than having Madox and the others.
esh ! for me gbb is not getting worse is just ther is some new beatbox that come to gbb and this year non of them was in ther "prime" like all the gbb 24 participant have a lot to work on they beatbox (me too) the new gen is coming and will grow utile the prime but now we just still learning thing we are just in a gen transition so lets enjoy that and lets see what gonna happen next
bye take care ❤!

The only thing I don't agree with is the gbb 2021 videos. There were times where they captured the audience and BBK more than the artist on stage, and I feel that at the end of the day the most important thing is to see the artist.
Great video Justin!!
Correction, D-low was 1st place elimination 2018 therefore beatbox level is vastly different in ranking *
2024 is a snoozefest in comparison to other years
since madox left gbb video became almost unwatchable for me. Especially the sound quality, everything sounds so empty especially on phones mic. The only one that gave me hype after that was gbb 2024 because i loved how unexpected the battles were and pac max is doing a pretty good job editing and mastering
My opinion:
1) 2018 (Best elim: Show-Go, Best battle: Hiss vs Bataco)
2) 2021 (Best elim: River, Best battle: River vs Hiss or Zekka vs Colaps)
3) 2019 (Best elim: Tomazacre, Best battle: Tomazacre vs Codfish)
4) 2024 (Best elim: Kaji, Best battle: Remix vs Osis)
5) 2023 (Best elim: Abo Ice, Best battle: Napom vs Dilip)
P.S.
2017 (Best elim: Alexinho, Best battle: Alexinho vs Two.H)
2016 (Best elim: Gene, Best battle: Gene vs Napom)
Beatbox is more than a competition
2019 was the pick i missed those days

Gbb 2017 is the best and the greatest in gbb history
I know how old are you bro,you 41 yaaa😅
@@hidayahtengahmalam4828 I´m 20 and I agree with @kiralycio
It also depends if you consider how viral they were. The most viral, I think were 2019 with D-low, Codfish, and Tomaz (rip). And 2021 with KI, Colaps, and Stitch. Literally, I saw rappers, singers, and general reactors, reacting to these videos
2021 was the best, even though the sound quality was admittedly bad only because of how many big players came to battle and they gave it their all. I mean the solos had Napom, Zekka, Footbox, Colaps, River, Helium, King Inertia, Hiss, Zero, Gene, Alexinho, B-Art and if you factor in the elims and artists, that's Tomazacre, Two H, Improver, Dkoy (amazing elim). That's a lot of GBB Champs, Vice Champs, WBC winners, and overall legends. Even the loop had crazy participation. It will be unmatched level where 3 GBB champions (Gene, Napom and Alexinho) all lose in the first match itself. The loop was also goated. Amazing tag team which are unmatched in technical skills.
2019 a close second for being equally good. With good sound quality to match.
2023, 2017, 2018 in that order then.
2019 was insane man. tom, dlow, cod, bart, and way more everyone was just peak
2019 is my favorite year, not only just GBB, I feel like everything about beatbox is at its peak in 2019
man honestly beatbox scene is really diluting, the originality and authenticity that it had is just fading away.
you can clearly see the difference, see old videos and those feel so nice and really fun to watch and hear but now its not the case.
i think money might be one of the problems, the OGs are leaving, only if they stayed for long enough ,even till now, they would've guided the current and upcoming generation...... ever since sxin and chezame separated and madox kinda stopped uploading everything started falling apart..... I am not saying its all over but the connection that an average person/beatbox fan/beatboxer around the world had has surely faded a lot.
So i just wanna say the period/era of beatbox until 2021 was goated
I loved this year's GBB I thought everyone sounded really powerful and everyone did an amazing job!
my personal favourite is 2019, because it was around this time that I started beatboxing. Imo the undeniably best GBB of all time was 2021 though. The Level of beatboxing, the battles and the amount of beatboxers that participated just made it feel special. Additionally I think, that the crowd was the best and most hype it has ever been. All categories felt stacked, had massive names and also up an coming stars shine. The entire vibe was just immaculate
beatbox didn’t die ,it’s jus getting newer and better and since people are so nostalgic so they can’t accept that
Ngl facts, so many people are looking through rose-tinted glasses thinking that the gbb's from before were so much better than they actually were
Gotta add in the battle portion of it too tho! That can make or break the whole thing if the battles arent good
2023 best audio
B-ART's energy is unmatched.
Beatbox nowadays consists of a few genuinely skilled beatboxers who are actually enjoyable to listen to, and the rest are just random people spitting into the mic, offbeat and with poor flow. Yet people will still hype it up because they either have a hearing problem or are simply bad themselves and think that everything people do at GBB is outstanding.
(two.h second round always)
who exactly is offbeat and has poor flow? the level of beatbox has pretty clearly gone up
You just typed a whole lot of nothing
@@Spectator-9672 crazy
seeing hiss battling is so gewddd
My favourite GBB is 2018 and 2019 because of musical aspects.
Everyone had a mixture of musicality and technicality making it a beautiful art form which beatbox should be but recently after 2021 every beatboxer just emphasis on how many sounds they can fit in their routine to make it more complex. I think there should also be room for musicality and structure instead of just focusing in on power and complexity.
For me, gbb 21 was peak but gbb 19 is almost untouchable it has legendary status and probably the most important gbb for the beatbox scene
2018, 2019, 2020, 2021
Codfish, Dlow, Zero, Colaps are the best gbbs
I really like 2019. I find more recently, the beat boxing is getting more "technical" with more complex tricks and sounds, but it's lost a bit of the vibe and good sounding music/tracks. I know Codfish doesn't have the range of sounds but I really enjoy listening to his rounds with perfectly executed sounds and perfect timing and great tunes. The more modern stuff sounds too fussy to me. It's the 2019 rounds to I go back to the most.
Beatbox already peaked 2018-2019 it’s all downhill from there.
In terms of popularity sure, but there's people still improving and the skill level is only getting higher, you're HELLA tripping my dude
TBH we cant decide from sitting behind the screen, Live experience is something everyone should get once in a lifetime.😅
i agree with the camera angles so bad in gbb 23-24
4:16 im not sure that's 2023
2024
2019 the best GBB era ever
Best overall is still GBB19 though this new GBB seems promising but i think best elim its no doubt inertias one by FAR
For solo category.
2019 was the best production.
2021 was the peak level of beatbox skills, all participants used their best stuff. Even some participants failed the elimination but their routine was a gold and so orginal. Too many various beatboxer; bass, techniques, special sound, melody. After this event, Collapse became the new GOAT and made too many people compared him with Dlow, KI became the king of inwardbass, Footboxg became the cleanest beatboxer and after that, he won the World Championship and river came back in 2023 and he won.
19 and 21 are my fav. Good times, good gbb. In 18 I just was too far from beatbox
When i try to introduce people to beatbox i don't even think about showing them anything after Sxin and Chezames BBU tournament. Normally i resort to anything from 2016-2019, in my opinion that was the peak🤷🏻♂️
ZVD’s breakout wildcard was liked by a couple of non-beatbox fans among my friends. Wing’s solo track Doppleganger as well.
15:43 😂 bruh I’m dead 😬
Yes, this will be a LONG opinion, so if you don't care about my opinions, 🙂👉🚪.
-GBBB 2018-
No, the extra B is not a mistake. It was still referred to as GBBB until 2019.
2018 was my introduction to pro beatboxing so I might be bias.
Elimination wise, amazing. Personally, my top 8 I actively come back to listen to. Battles were also amazing, especially Codfish🇦🇺's run.
Tag-Team (yes I will cover all categories) was, personally, the best this year, no question. I will always remember Kotcha🇬🇧 vs K-Pom🇺🇸.
Loopstation was... alright? Unpopular opinion, but Jarno Ibarra🇳🇱 vs Oxbox🏴 was the best battle. The winner of each battle wasn't close, ao it got boring. Still good, but I preferred other years.
Also, one thing that will be important, I don't disagree with any judge decision at all this year. It was all agreement.
I still come back to 2018 and still adore that year, unlike...
-GBB 2019-
I will say it. This year sucked ass. Solo is the most mixed shit I've ever seen. I only liked 2 ELIMINATIONS, and it's the 2 that aren't available. Audical🇺🇸 and Tomazacre🇨🇱. All the others were boring, and felt half assed. I see how awesome Codfish🇦🇺 was cool, but I feel like he lacked the energy from the previous year. B-Art🇳🇱... why is he 1st in eliminations? It was unique, but it felt sloppy and some parts didn't stick with the crowd. I could go on.
Now Solo battles were amazing. All battles were entertaining, skillful and close. I should not say much to prove anything. D-Low🇬🇧 vs Colaps🇫🇷.
Tag-Team was... something. I have the same opinion with Solo aswell. Eliminations were boring as fuck. But battles were also mixed. Only one I liked was Uniteam🇫🇷 vs Kotcha🇬🇧. The others, personally, were so forgettable.
Loopstation was alright. Only battles I care for were BreZ🇫🇷 vs NME🇮🇹 and So-So🇯🇵 vs Beatness🇫🇷. All the others I don't have anything to say since I forgot them •_•.
So I don't like GBB 2019. I understand how the scene evolved and it's importance, but I don't care, it wasn't good to listen to in my opinion. And BreZ🇫🇷 should've won Loopstation.
-GBB 2021-
I love this year. This and 2018 were the best years in my opinion. Solo... where the fuck do I begin. I adore all the eliminations beside like, 5. The ceiling was high, and most were pushing higher. Battles were some of the best I had seen in a hot minute. Especially quarterfinals. Loved it.
Tag-Team... I haven't listened. I don't know why, but I avoid it.
Loopstation, in my opinion, was the best this year. I at least like and enjoy all the eliminations. And Battles... oh my god. I kept getting out of my chair every battles, beside Chris TheOdian🇫🇷. He wasn't all that energetic. And the battle, BreZ🇫🇷 vs Rythmind🇫🇷... you could've told young me this was a Grand Final and I would've believed you. And BizKit🇺🇸... his style is so awesome. The first time I heard That Looper 2.0 is like no other. I just sat there in pure shock. Amazing year for Loopstation.
Didn't watch Tag-Team Loopstation or Crew. Sorry not sorry.
I would listen to this year any day of the year. Oh, and for those saying the "sound quality" is bad... this year was the only one that I REALLY felt the power. I don't know what all of y'all are on about.
-GBB 2023-
Mid. It's mid. Just like 2019, most of the Solo Eliminations had me bored. Yes, I liked a lot more than 2019, but more than half had me just sitting there. BizKit🇺🇸 should've passed. Battles were a lot more entertaining... until Semi's, where, in my opinion, had me bored again. They were good, but I expected more intensity, which only Abo Ice🇸🇦 brought personally. And Grand Finals... how the NaPoM🇺🇸 lose? I saw it as a easy win.
Tag-Team was alright. Eliminations were fun and good. Battles.. I don't remember a single round. So... woo?
Loopstation was a good pickup. It was great. And I will never forget Robin🇫🇷's 1st round vs DICE🇰🇷. All battles were great. Better than 2021? HELL NO. But still an amazing 2nd place.
Didn't watch Crew besides the Grand Final. Liked it :).
Producer was a nice change. Good to have a category where it isn't battles and just Seedings... oh wait, 2024.
-GBB 2024-
Solo... so many bad decisions and yet I love this year. I'll say the common opinion, HOW THE FUCK DID ALEXINHO🇫🇷 GET 2ND IN ELIMINATIONS?! Also, Stitch🇲🇾 and BlackRoll🇮🇹 were robbed and Abo Ice🇸🇦's elimination is a little overrated. Now I can argue "sound quality." Why do I now argue it? Osis🇮🇪. For some reason, his rounds now sound a weird higher pitch and less gritty than usual. And he does it for the whole competition. And I know if it was a mistake on HIS part, he would've fixed it. So most likely sound. Battles... what the fuck were the Semifinals. Remix🇿🇦 and KAJI🇯🇵 should've passed to the Grand Final. It's even clear that Osis🇮🇪 agreed. And Grand Final... Osis🇮🇪 vs Julard🇫🇷... I will say, I do think Julard🇫🇷 won. Osis🇮🇪 did do cool shit, but I enjoyed Julard🇫🇷's complexity and uniqueness more, so I ruled him over Osis🇮🇪. And please stop hating on Julard🇫🇷. He won fair and square, there aren't any bias. -_-
Tag-Team sucked. Eliminations were SO BAD. I don't see how this category was a "highlight." Battles... I couldn't watch Battles... I dozed off being awake from 1:30 in the morning.
Loopstation. I disagree so much with a lot of the decisions. So I'll say each one.
808Banon🇺🇸 should've won vs Matej🇦🇹.
SyJo🇩🇪 should've won vs Matej🇦🇹.
Yaswede🇧🇪... did win vs Matej🇦🇹.
Ye, I have no fucking clue why Matej🇦🇹 got passed EVEN QUARTERFINALS. Every battle I ruled against him. It's not that he's bad. Quite the opposite. But HE LACKED THIS YEAR. HOW?! WHY?! And I do think Yaswede🇧🇪 won against Raje🇮🇳.
Crew was entertaining. Not because I was laughing with them, I was laughing at them. Grand Final was so fucking stupid, I loved it😂.
Producer was yet again, amazing. Seeding was alright? But battles... holy shit KBA🇩🇰 and Antrix🇩🇪 were so damn brutal. Loved it so damn much.
I do argue a lot about this year, but I still enjoyed this year. Really fun.
So personally, the GBB's rank like this for me.
1. GBB 2021
2. GBB 2024
3. GBBB 2018
4. GBB 2023
5. GBB 2019
Now, this IS my OPINION. You don't have to agree. If yoy want to talk in the replies, I would be more than happy to do so. But I ask to please be civilized and peacful. Anyways, imma go have breakfast now. Been typing for an hour😅. Peace.
Also, I understand I just some person on the internet, not a professional with understanding of beatboxing who can say they're a judge.

Look at all this I ain’t reading this
If all gbb21’s video is uploaded, it’s the best one.
For me 2024 was the best one. No recency bias.
Is it me or there is less to no camera shots from behind participants like catching beatboxer/looper from behind with crowd with cameraman running around stage. I really liked those shots in 19' and 21'
In my honesty (and I respect you a lot) bring back the weekly shout-outs instead of these video's.
This video only brings more controversy in my opinion, and bringing the shout-outs back is what we really need.
Before 2020 was different
4:17 it's 2024 ABOICE not 2023, correct the typo if u can pls
As a listener, I really enjoyed 2021 too.
It is worse at least after Colaps won. After that everything is just going downhill, it feels like the participant just doesn't prepared that much.
I still miss gbb 2022 😢
GBB21>>>>
And yes it is progressively getting worse year by year, they NEED to stop hosting it in Japan!!1
Should make top 16 battle or something. Instead of most of it being decided in eliminations
think 2018 is highest competitive
2019 was the BEST and, will remain the BEST of all time!
I thought d-low's elim in 2018 was 1st place
Beatbox died after GBB21.
The time when D-Low,Audical,Tomazacre,Napom,Codfish,Has,hiss,Big Man,Show Go. On the show...
The answer: Depends
I thought D-low's elimination was 1st place in 2018. Am I wrong?
I checked, 5th place
2024 audio is shiiiiit
To best represent each GBBs level you should judge it by the winners compilations and not the 1st place elims
2024 > 2023 enjoyment-wise, but top level was higher 2023 arguably
I love 2019. The diversity of style was just right for me. I think now the skills are so improved but too complicated as battle.
i love the last part of Napom :))
2018,2019 was the best gbb's of all time.
BBX is for sure trying their best to psy-op us.
Gbb 18/19 best era 🔥🔥
Abo Ice was 2024 not 2023. In beginning it showed 2023. I know simple mistake and Im just pointing it out.
1. Gbb18 and Gbb21
2. Gbb23
3. Gbb19 and Gbb17
4. Gbb24
5. Gbb20
Between 2019 and 2021
Yes
I think this idea of GBB ranking is very good, but I don't think judging them only by 1st place elims is kind of underwhelming. Maybe next time do overall comparison with solo and loopstation. IMO, GBB is going downfall and nobody seems to talk about the issues, the best beatboxers and loopers are not competing, or trying anymore. Something has to be going wrong with the event nowadays.
Can't believe that nobody is mentioning gbb2017.. Best one in my opinion.
I like solo, crew level has gone down, but the winners "without spoilers" were pretty good, the rest ehhh, tag team pretty decent, downgrade but also winners were pretty sick, loopstation has become better produced music but i dont like what loopstation has become. The 2019 kind of battle is what ive been missing where you can digest what's happening.
For me it will be gbb 2019 since that was my first ever gbb and i found my favourite beatboxer Tomazacre at that time.(I aint saying artist deal with it)
21 was my first live one and it was just awesome so of course I'm biased 😅❤
