Its not the darkness I fear its the people in it.
I’d like to believe ‘most’ ppl are ok & that a regular person/ppl wouldn’t hassle tent or van campers. However there are some strange ppl around & some things can’t be explained
That's total bs lol you obviously never been out there by yourself in the woods in pitch black
Tip #1 - Try gear out long before going back to a place, even more so to a place that you're uncomfortable in. Your situational awareness isn't great (which is fine, really) but to rely on brand new gear for your own safety - bad idea. Use heavy duty black string (100-200 metres) very cheap, tie to base of outer trees flanking your camp area, then attach small bells to it at intervals. Tie string 60cm above base of tree/s. This is old school alarm - much better than some of the gear you had gifted to you. The black string is virtually impossible to spot in low light.
Tip #2 - Take someone else! This is basic stuff and to guarantee your own safety and to return back to your family, in one piece. Who will your son buy choc treats for?
Tip #3 - Never, never, never set up camp to a dark entry/exit to any forest - this provides easy exit for anyone wishing to mess with you.
Tip #4 - Do not under any circumstances use white lights/lanterns for nighttime videos - green ones will hide you much better. If you're woken by an event/disturbed - tossing cyalume light sticks in the direction of the issue - will deter them/it 100%.
Tip #5 - Do not under any circumstances risk your shit for likes/views on this medium. If you feel pressure to go back to a bad spot - ask your family what they'd do.
Tip #6 - Be safe man.
What koba fern said.!! 100%
Wooooo, clear as day as that handprint, clear as a summers day, no doubt about it mqn👀👀🖐️
it'd be quite difficult for a thermal camera to catch a handprint in that very colld weather, wouldnt be hot enough, even on purpose
I really don't like when you panned over the tree that had no handprint then a few seconds later there was. It was sure a big roller-coaster of emotions from cute critters to ghoul hands.
You’ve met the forest people, Sasquatch, Sabe. They’re global. Fair play for going back.
Fair play to you going back, bloody freaky the hand prints. Someone used your last video on a scary camping video, strange that I watched it today, Stay Safe.
Cheers buddy. Who was it that used it?

FEAR FANATICS. Your second on the list.
Would have been real easy to hold your hand next to the hand prints on the night. Same size, probably the same hands that made them. Shame you didnt get that shot. Maybe next time. I would recomend getting back to basics, cotton with bells on, hear the bell, point the camera, simple.
Personally i still think its all a setup, enjoying the content though.
How exciting! Another great video, very enjoyable. That IR camera looked awesome. More trail cams hidden around to see if you can find more stuff!
I may go back again. I did quite enjoy thst one 👍
Kudos to you for going back out to a place that had previously weirded you out. That takes balls, well done.

sasquatch use to mimic owls apparently and just like you say that it was extending way beyond what an owl's capability is is what use to give them away according to researchers. The barred owl is what use to get mimicked and the lung capacity sound way off.
Yeah it was way too long for an owl but sounded close.
Strange how it's the nearest tree to you!🤦♂️
Very
Our Siberian Husky has never howled like that. Having trained in thermal imaging those were very fresh handprints, you should have heard whoever left them in the forest duff as they moved.
If you seriously want to camp there again I'd more than happily come with you.
Cheers Si. The howls were wierd and I know there's no wolves anywhere but there's got to be some kind of domestic dog that makes similar noises? Maybe 🤷🏼♂️ the hand marks were odd. I heard one noise once and nothing else. There was no one around and they'd show up like a firework on that camera so god knows
@@NoviceWildCamper🤥🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It is near infrared, not thermal imaging. Those hand print could be caused by a l ot of dyestuffs or optical brighteners (wich would be hard see with the eye).
My camera was thermal not infrared. The trail cams are infrared. The phone one is thermal. Picks up heat.
I would say a Northern Inuit dog but ours has a really loud deep bark and our Huskey does a howling speaking voice so it does sound like a wolf.
Really enjoying your videos. Always superb content. Those woods are certainly very eerie, but something makes me think that the locals could be up to no good here 🤔
God knows. I'm sure I would have seen someone with that thermal camera though 🤷🏼♂️
I love watching people become less and less skeptical of strange phenomena. People like me experience strange phenomena on the weekly. ❤
Weekly I'd get worried about 😬
Indeed me too. The less skeptical one is - the safer they become. Skepticism breeds danger if you take a sec and think about it. You're safer off being paranoid than you are being skeptical
Ditto.
ive done that spooky hand trick using my thermal scope. id put my hands on the hood of my jeep for a second, and then touch a bench or a stump. the thermal lasts for longer than youd think.
Good upload. Thanks for the camera tips too. Been looking for an infrared camera, so will check that out. Cheers. 🙌🏼
Cheers buddy. It's a cool piece of kit 👌
Watched part 1 and 2 back to back. Very odd area isn't it. Those were definately handprints my Friend, but whose? 😵💫 The Thermal cam is awesome. Got to save up and get myself one of those for a mess around next time i'm camping in my local Woods. The only thing i got disturbed by, was at about half one in the Morning, i was asleep in me Tent and...."BARK!!" Ten feet from me. Bloomin' Roe Deer are a menace. 😂 Love it really. Heard it during the Night just laid in my Tent all cosy with a big grin on my face listening to it having a kind of conversation with an Owl. 😂👍
I love listening to the wildlife at night from my tent or hammock. It's amazing when you first hear certain things the mind plays tricks but after years if experience you get to know what they all are. Muntjac are one of the weirdest I've found but it's nice to hear the nighttime creatures 👍
it is important to return to a place where you had a strange encounter for closure...I have returned back to place where I had my bear encounter in the middle of the night and I am glad I did now I have gone back a couple of more times and it is good medicine!
Aside from the hand prints it had a way better feel about it
I play wolves howling on my Amazon echo, it shuts the naigbours dog up from barking
🤣
Surely fake 😂 your reaction seems out of proportion for someone who’s just seen human hand prints on a tree in a woods with no one around haha 😂 like who just double hand palms a tree anyway - good content but all in the name of entertainment
I did think that but didn’t want to ruin the illusion lol.

@@NoviceWildCamperYou found the Woodwose.
Possibly
Weird locals. Maybe a narrow gene pool.
Tbh we didn't believe in bigfoot/Yowie/quinkin etc but then the other day we were 4x4ing in one of the state forests in Alpine shire of Victoria. We came around a bend and to our left standing in the bush were these 2 very tall, blackish brown, cone head shaped, long ass arms hairy human apes. The one behind the other one moved back but the one in front locked eyes on my daughter who was sitting in the front passenger seat. She said it bent forward and picked up a large rock from the ground and made several large steps towards our moving vehicle. We got to the end of the track then realised we'd have to drive back in the same direction. Didn't see anything else again but it definitely scared the help out of us both! Makes you question solo camping sometimes 😂
I don't disbelieve i them just don't think that the uk could support them. USA or Canada maybe as plenty of remote large woodlands but here we're too overpopulated and not enough remote areas.
Thing with the howling is it got closer, so if being walked by its owner it wouldn’t be howling for him/her (calling to his pack essentially) so perhaps a stray or lost dog? The hand prints are inexplicable though aside from someone sneaking around in the woods in the dark which is rather nefarious. It would be great if you’d go out at a similar temperature and made some yourself. Maybe take note of how long they’d be there to create a glow that bright and long lasting. The second set faded quickly so we’re obviously touching only briefly as not much heat residue behind. There is no bioluminescent fungi or whatever that would leave such an obvious hand print like that. I think decomposition might generate a bit of warmth on the ground but nothing I can think of would leave a perfect hand print except a dodgy person. I hope you have the means to defend yourself if you go back on your own (not sure if tasers are legal in the UK or would work through winter layers or not) or take a buddy along to see if you can simulate what was seen. That warmth behind the bush would perhaps be someone hiding behind there crouched down but didn’t seem intense enough. Certainly super interesting. I went camping in remote Colorado mountains and something BIG was walking around our site. We had our stuff up in a tree in a bear bag. The breathing sounded like a bear but I could have sworn at the time it was the human step pattern. It was so cold my water bottle froze solid overnight and I was so cold I really wasn’t moving, no matter how curious I was to see a bear for myself or whatever it was. Regret it now. Camping is simply amazing. But we had bear spray and a firearm as grizzlies about, not really anything self defence wise like that here.
Ive just watched these 2 vids, most enjoyable. I hope you will post more disturbing camping endeavours soon 😁
🤣 hopefully not tbh 😬
The hand prints definitely scared me & there’s only one explanation for them plus the unidentified howls very creepy!😮
Yeah very odd but didn't have the threatened feeling of the last time I was there
Load of bull, ain’t it
Thanks for watching
If the hand prints were true you would have been gone quicker than the first time left your stuff and never gone back lol, and if you did go back you would definitely had checked them out at daylight, or in your case you would have checked them out soon as you woke up
Cheers to you and nice to see one of the few Western men left with a true sense of adventure, discovery, initiative and some balls! (Lol sync, with your "Western Front" reference, I tend to write my comments while I watch and I wrote that sentence before I heard you say it. 😄) Sorry about your friends, I would have gone if it wasn't freezing lol! I've been camping overnight when it was in the 40s, about froze to death, but I soldiered through. It's not easy and you need the right gear! My "friend" failed to tell me that. 🙄
Anyway, this is the next frontier. It's all about pushing the boundaries of science and discovery. I've been looking into the "unexplained" most of my life. Shame that so much is being hidden from the public and keeping us from advancing as a species. You are one of the rebels challenging that and I thank you. And I gave you a like simply for going back. Bravery is attractive. All those cameras will probably keep what you're seeking away, just more evidence that it's something supernatural. Those things usually disappear when cameras are recording. They are aware of them, especially bright blinking lights, that's a dead giveaway. But on the flip side, they will also keep you safer from them. 😉
Thinking about subbing ☺
Very wise of you to look up the tree with the thermal. I would've had a blast with that camera. I love wildlife and it would be so easy to spot them. Do you guys have hamsters in the UK because it looks just like one on the FLIR lol. I kept seeing that light on the periphery of the camera too, I just thought it was your flashlight or just how the camera registered. I noticed it was doing that also when you moved the camera down. I think, at least most of it, was just the camera.
You have nerves of steel! I would have been freaking out seeing those hand prints! Those were 100% hand prints and that's the logical explanation. How they got there is another question. Sasquatch are known to cloak themselves to appear invisible to us so that would be my guess. Also sasquatch often mimic owls. You'll hear an owl call, but it just sounds off in whatever way.
Glad you didn't get eaten by a werewolf! I'm seeing everyone in the comments saying the howls were recordings. It's common for cryptids to be reported like that, but more-so skinwalkers and the like. They mimic things and it sounds like a recording or like an old record and it's just really creepy. I mean, what locals are really going to go to all the trouble of walking in the pitch black and frigid cold just to mess with some rando? Not many. And why? What really would you get out of it to make it worth your while for any length of time? Plus they'd be stumbling and making all kinds of noise, breaking sticks, even if they knew the terrain, you can't memorize every single tree, bush, rock and ankle-breaking divet in the ground, even if you had a thermal, esp with shoes, humans are very noisy creatures in the woods. The theory that it's locals is not logical to me.
Metallic bangs can be portals. But also metallic bangs can be a lot of things lol.
Welcome to the world of the supernatural, my friend from across the pond. I hope your scope of reality just got a bit wider! 👍💚🐺🏕
@SorrowfulBeauty cheers buddy. On the previous video I was saying all along that if it was a human you'd see them with lights or they'd need to have nvg which is a bit extreme on a rainy night for no reason. Was certainly weird that's for sure. Atb 👍
It looks like someone is trying to scare you of from that area. That sounded like a wolf but we do not have wolves in England.
I even checked the nearest zoo. 10 miles away. They have wolves but the are maned wolves and don't howl.
You may want to carry a 900-mile laser pen pointer & a survival 6" blade knife to your hiking/camper kit as a defensive weapon. Tie your knife to a medium-sized tree branch about 4-5 feet long and you have a spare toward of any danger. The laser can blind any beast and be used for signaling.
So your mates did come in the end ! 😂
Eh?
I'm guessing your not convinced either.

I have a few questions. Cant remember if it was the first video or this one. You made the remark it stinks can you describe the smell? Also is this the only place these weird happenings occur? Or have weird things started happening since like items not where you know you left them? or they arent there then they are after you give up looking?
The smell was like dead rotting bodies. I remember when I was young digging in the garden once and I burst open a sealed ice cream tub. The stench that came out nearly made me sick. It was a dead guinea pig that had been buried but only decomposed inside the tub as it was airtight. I've had a couple of wierd experiences elsewhere but nothing like this. Only footsteps around my hammock and once the sound of a big cat close to the tent.

You using infrared light based camera (infrared led flashlight + phone camera does the same job) infrared light reflects the liquid (all living things have moisture) but sometimes (liquid-moisture) can stay for a long long time! Infrared light invisible to human eyes, but can be captured by any camera 😊 Many UFO hunters use DIY infrared flashlight+phone

Its very unrealistic for an infrared camera to capture handprints during cold temperatures. Also why is there a cut in the editing before you found them ?
It's a heat sensor camera not infrared so picks up heat which ONLY works in cold temperatures. And there's no cut. You can see I tap the top right screen beforehand and accidentally change the mode setting hence it looks like a cut.

I think you were camping near someone's hidden camp. I think the structure you kept going back to that had the weird glow was his hidden camp. The two glowing rectangles that became just one...if you really look as the two became one you can see the top triangle turn to the right and what appeared and the legs of a girl suit moving away. I think he was filming you back. A moment after that you heard a noise and panned right. He was standing there in his gilly suit completely still looking at you. When I say a panning direction I am referring to the point of view as I watch it on the TV. Hand prints were real. He scared you away the first time. Second time he watched you. That's what I saw.
@@kathrynjones5858 it was weird whatever it was. And why would you camp in a ghillie suit 🤷🏼♂️
@@NoviceWildCamper I don't think he was "camping". I think he has a bunker, probably underground, where he lives. It explains one of the heat signatures in your video. When someone camps too close and he feels afraid he'll be found, he dons his gilly suit. He recons, trys to scare you off, or observes the intruder- You. I believe he did all those things to you over the two trips. I am sure he set at least one camera on you. I also think he just stood still and blended into surroundings when you caught him on camera. He probably pulled his equipment after he felt safe while you were asleep. Clever little minx.
@@kathrynjones5858 A gillie suit will do very little to hide your thermal signature, they are a optical means of camouflage not a thermal barrier. So if as you said someone was hiding in a ghillie suit they would have been visible on his night vision, ghillie suit or not.

I saw somewhere that DNA tests proved a big cat was in the UK wild, there are so many stories of people seeing a black panther looking cat too. Some footage but hard to verify exactly when/where taken. The dna is real though, it was found on a sheep carcass in unusual shape (a fox couldn’t maul it that way etc). So a very good reason to take some kind of precaution like bear spray or something just in case. It’s highly avoidant of humans though and no reports of even getting close to people let alone hurting them. Still very interesting. ruclips.net/video/Ymv2Euhl8AE/видео.htmlsi=SFdzZ1WgLtijPtrE
@LillyJacob-l6r wild cats were released into the wild by private welwthy owners who had them as pets but the law changed so it became illegal and they let a lot of them loose. This was back in the 70s. There's been so many sightings you have to take some as real plus, yes dna was found on a carcass and proven to be either puma or panther I believe. That video you sent was close to where I was however experts have studied it and believe it is actually a black cow bent around licking itself and the protrusion is actually it's leg. Personally if I was filming that I'd have stayed and watched it walk away to show what it really was which does make you think if they just chose the clip that made it look like a panther.

Cheers buddy 👍
Great video Mike.. keep em coming
Cheers buddy 👍
His own thermal hand prints (for views) the howls are from a speaker.
@@British_Gaz of course. You are the Oracle
plenty of wild big cats creeping about since the laws on keeping them were installed in uk. Instead of telling owners to give them to zoos or get them put down the government did nowt, so you can imagine what happened... owners just set them loose
That was my thoughts after watching this video back

Clear footage what ca.era where u using...looks 4k
Dji pocket 3. 4k 👍
@@NoviceWildCamper I have the 1 in that...that little camera shoots amazing video nice an sharp
Yeah I love it 👍
Definitely looked like something moving behind the tree at 18:26. Then I kept thinking I saw "alien" faces in the trees - must be pareidolia
I'm sure there was something moving behind that tree 😬
In the beginning of this video, starting at around 2:39, off in the distance (to your right) there is a dark figure that looks like a person. Maybe its just a tree stump or something, but it kind of looks like it moves though.
Oh yeah. Looks like one of those blurry bigfoot sightings 😬
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAAH!!!!!!!!!!!! Fake!!!!!!!!!
I hope you are not camping on Hamstead heath? I hear alot of people go camping on Hamstead heath?
Thats someone on the windup mate you need to catch em and give em a good kickin.lol!
God knows but can't see how they can do that though 🤷🏼♂️
Hi ......the hand prints OMG......respect for going back. I new you were the right stuff.
It's not over though, is it.
Great viewing......
More please.😎☯️🌱
@@jonathanmarkbotterell1926 I might head back another time 👍
@@NoviceWildCamper ...top man☯️
Very good Mike, some great tech as well, is there any zoos near there ? I know when i was based down in devon and cornwall, they were a couple of zoos like paignton amd newquay that had timber wolves ? Wonder if they couldve been a animal sanctuary or zoo within a few miles of you ?
Paignton Zoo is 13 miles away and the nearest but it doesn't have any wolves other than the maned wolf (I'm not that intelligent to know that off the top of my head I just searched 😂) and it doesn't howl 😬🤷🏼♂️
I believe this is legit and the previous camping video. Glad you had the cameras this time.
I only went back because of requests, i don't generally do scary videos
anomaly on the tree ?? that was pretty clearly someone doing that. also that crazy eplf sound is probably..v.likely, someones playing it off their device ! obviously, we dont have wolves ! also, it looked like someone crouching or something, behind tree
There was some weird stuff to be sure 😬
This is why I never tell anyone when or where I’m wild camping because people will come and mess with you .. I also know no one would be this calm seeing hand prints and there’s no wolfs here but stop gd to watch
My mates didn't know when or where I was camping. They never got that far 🤣
@@NoviceWildCamper 3 pals of mine let me down on a camp they came at 2am and scared the living shit of me I left my stuff and went back to my car then I noticed my friends car in the carpark so I let his tires down and went home .. bless them they packed my stuff away for me
🤣 I was going to do that to some mates once who asked me to meet them and I said I couldn't make it but was so tempted to just go there at like 2am and mess with them 🤣
I once saw a documentary about how sloths sleep for hours on a tree and when they wake up they mistake their own arm for a branch, try to hang from it and fall into the void and die, it was the stupidest thing I had ever seen, until I saw this video.
@@sicapon thanks for watching
Very spooky 😮you have to go back we need part 3 x
I'll see what I can do 👍
No, you'll endanger your life. If you have to, bring a partner AND a dog. FCOL..
If there was someone there all they'd see is this guys face lit up by the phone screen.......
Yeh thermal that good would pick anyone up mate
Has anyone considered.......
Stig!
He might have been taking the dog for a piss 🤔
@stoif76 odd to drive your dog for a piss. He had only just got out of his car.
The wolf sound was over a loud speaker you have been had or this is a total hoax.proberly your mates doing it
They didn't know I was there. It didn't sound like a speaker 🤷🏼♂️
@27;36 very phony wolf imitation
