  • Alumni induction: In celebration of excellence and achievement, Secondary Schoool hosted an Alumni Induction ceremony on the 7th of March recognizing the graduating class of 2024. The ceremony radiated nostalgia and beaming pride as the senior school's leading faculty welcomed the class of 2024 as school alumni for the first time. The ceremony began with loud applause upon their entrance and welcoming the class with traditional tikkas and Pathways signature wristbands. To further acknowledge the batch’s accomplishments during their IB DP journey, the school director Ms. Sonya Ghandy Mehta and the senior school principal Ms. Manjula Shenoi addressed the gathering and passed on a heartfelt message to the students of DP2. The event also consisted of students from PYP and DP1 expressing their feelings for the class through poems and spoken messages.
Graduation ceremony: Next, on the 9th of March, the class of 2024 donned their caps and gowns to celebrate the culmination of their IBDP journey. The achievements, successes and memories of this class were celebrated as students were recognized for their contribution to various disciplines. The event opened with the graduation walk, signifying the final steps of the graduates in their school life. This was followed by honoring the faculty members who have been a pillar of support for the graduating class. After the lighting of the lamp and a mesmerizing invocation dance, students were awarded across various categories. As graduates bid farewell to their alma mater, they carry with them not only knowledge and skills but also cherished memories forged during their time at Pathways.
Fringe festival: On 11th March, Twenty-five Pathwaysians took the stage at the Adelaide Fringe Fest 24 in Australia, presenting 'Rhythmic India,' a production curated by Kirandeep Manocha & Anshuman Gangopadhyay, highlighting India’s rich musical and dance traditions. The performance, featuring live music and theatrical dance presentations, captivated audiences. With approximately 2.7 million attendees, the festival ranks as the world's second-largest art festival. Our team also enjoyed exploring various street shows, comedy acts, and cultural attractions, interacting with artists worldwide. Two performances drew crowds of around 200 each, receiving widespread appreciation. It was an immersive experience that left our PWS students proud and filled with cherished memories.
Prague: Finally, on the 15th of march a group of 29 DP1 students embarked on the Prague Spring 2024 CAS trip. The trip's itinerary was carefully crafted to provide a comprehensive overview of the three CAS strands, featuring a blend of challenging activities and enjoyable evenings. Participants were organized into three groups, each consisting of students from India, Mexico, and Japan, fostering cultural exchange and interaction.  The activities were diverse and engaging, ranging from Urban Farming at a local Prague farm to a meaningful tour of the city's Homeless lanes coupled with meal preparation for them. Other highlights included a hip-hop workshop, a captivating street art session exploring the city's cultural facets, and more.
