Special tool to reinsert the crimp punch? Also I have the sizemaster 410 conversion die set. What is the little round steel hat 🎩 looking piece that’s about 1/4” tall with about a 1/4” hole through it for?
Hey can we use this setup for loading slugs I took everything apart with out thinking It had some rust so took apart to clean Never doing this before..it seems complicated..until I get things figured out and comfortable with process
I would suggest suggest buying either the 600 Jr or single stage machines and purchase the 410 short kit. The short kit allows you to reload 2.5 410 shells and if you take the kit off you can load 3 in. Very easy and you don't have to touch the dies.
@@MECOutdoors I have found no problems with my shells sticking from the repriming operation. My issue is I have to use the stripper clip on the resizer as every hull sticks in the resizer die.
@@stackbarrelmike Thanks for commenting! The deprime punch #519410 will need to be lowered further. The lower the punch is set then the further it will eject the shell out of the resizing ring. If you have any further questions, please contact us at reloadersales@mecoutdoors.com
Great information, thanks.
Why not make a hex on the punches that you used vise grips on. Vise grips can ruin things real quick.

+MEC ShootingSports thank you very much
@@MECOutdoors Do you have a video on how to convert from 3 to 2.5 with the kit?
Good Lord! Bunch of rigamorol! I just went ahead and bought a 3" 600JR. Much simpler. Lol
What is the purpose of the stripper clip over the reprimer pad?
It is to pull the shell off the deprime punch otherwise the shell tends to stick on the deprime punch and you will have a hard time getting it off.

yall make a 410 kit for the grabber?
Hi Tyler, Thank you for commenting. We manufacture the Grabber in a 410 bore but do not make conversion kits to convert a Grabber to 410.
Can I buy a stripper clip over the phone? Don't have one and for years used a wood yoke I made. Might be good for me to join this century.
Thank you for commenting. Yes, the 410 stripper kit number 8545 can be ordered through MEC by calling us at 800-7976-4632.
