I agree. Like most folks dealing with a chronic ilnees Ive spent thousands of dollars on doctors visits, two different brain retraining programs, hbot, supplements, etc. All have helped in their own way but none was a cure. I truly believe the cure is within us and I do feel like Im making progress after 19 months of LC. Raelans page has been incredibly helpful and hopeful. Thanks for being a light in thendarkness.❤

I am also at 2 years post covid. I woke up having my very first panic attack and had no idea what was happening. I couldn't catch a full breath which was the worse. I had a terrible 5-6 months of light sensitivity, sounds and food sensitivities as well. I was an athlete before this. Fatigue hit me as well. My nervous system was a wreck and i felt like my body was on high alert! I developed chronic anxiety which was hellish. It was like i had died. I had to let go of the old me and fight to get some of my wonderful life back. I started brain retraining and it helped me right off. Our brains are amazing! I seen a lung specialist who tried to tell me i had covid asthma, which I didn't, i was having panic attacks! At the 6 month mark i developed the off balance, feeling like i was on a boat and it was horrible. I went to PT for it and she started crainial therapy. It gave me some relief. Its been a long journey that is almost at its end. I still have some symptoms but i am healing! Your videos and others have been so helpful in my recovery. Thank you for all your hard work.

Another Long Covid case here, jumpstarted also by vacuuming! In my case I was up on a ladder vacuuming cobwebs off the ceiling... 🙄Why did I think this was a good idea? 🤷🏼‍♀Anyway, it took about 2 1/2 years to finally feel that I was more or less normal again and actually could walk around without carrying a folding stool with me everywhere I went. Even now, 3 1/2 years later, I can get triggered by stress (vertigo, headaches, exhaustion) but I recover much more quickly. I'm very lucky in that I was already retired and that my husband is a great cook!

Diet, sleep, meditation ( or whatever floats your boat to relax) sunlight, nature, what we are saying to ourselves ,daily, how we let others affect us, people pleasing, setting boundaries, general self care, all of this and your wonderful channel of inspirational stories and interviews can go a long way to help. I got covid back in March of 2020 and then developed long covid. I thought exercise was benefial since that's what you think you should do, but that was a bad idea. I couldn't lift anything heavy or overdo it without being hit with heavy fatigue for a week. The first year was the worst of all symptoms and I saw every doctor you could think of. In year 2 I basically just rested and tried not to overdo it and I felt closer to normal with some lingering symptoms. Then this year figuring I was past all this I had 2 replases due to stress. So even though I can do more physical activities I have to watch my stress levels as that's a big trigger. I don't think I'll ever get back to normal, but we just have to be more aware of our bodies capabilities and have a good mindset too like mentioned in the video.

Thank you this has been very enlightening. I have has Fibromyalgia for about twenty years about four years ago I noticed that my stamina was decreasing. When I looked back over time I realized that I was unable to cope with travel as I had. Then at home my coma sleeps as I call then were happening after any exertion. Along with this my pain level was much higher.
I have searched the internet for information and some was insightful but not helpful. Tonight I saw your interview with names gone sorry English doctor and it started to make sence my councilor had spoken of mind body but only now did it make more sense. I watched Michelle's story and though she did not mention whole body pain I felt some hope.

I became ill after the vaccine too but am now half way better. If it helps to know, first I ruled out other possibilities as my doctor refused to talk about vaccines ie blood tests and ct scan re MS, neck etc problems. I’ve taken a lot of supplements but think now, besides vit d and k2, others weren’t necessary, I got into minimalism videos ie minimal mom on RUclips and found the videos relaxing and informative, whenever I could I decluttered to make my home even more manageable, I got a cleaner and still have her, I got someone to do meal prep as I couldn’t lift pans etc. I have recently done mind body connection sessions with Alice Bowley, (who Raelan has interviewed). I left Facebook groups that were negative. I recently watched a film re dr sarno and TMS. I understand the advice is to follow one path but I have found it fascinating to read and see the overlaps in what different people are saying about mind and body connections, it has also helped me find even more inspiring stories on RUclips. I also changed my diet to paleo. I had a terrible diet before. I’ve lost fifty pounds. I also loved a book called cured which really spoke to me as due to feeling the vaccine had caused the problem but also wondering if it had started earlier, cured talks about the four pillars of health physical and mental, (apologies the book expresses this better!) and I gained comfort from knowing I had done what I could to check physical, sort diet etc and that now I was free to investigate nervous system etc causes. You say you are at peace so this maybe of no interest to you but I wanted to share in case something lights up and attracts you as an idea to play with. Take care.
