I cannot wait for this release :) about to examine a nightly build. I don't hate Eagle, quite the contrary, I love it. However, I cannot afford the new subscription model considering all of my work is open and free. KiCAD is the future for us at Tin Cans And Duct Tape. The hierarchical schematics are a beautiful thing. Library management needs a lot of improvement - currently, I build my KiCAD libraries in a text editor. For the price - you cannot beat KiCAD.

In the features of version 6 I only want to suggest add a Panelizing tool or make a video tutorial of how you can do that.

Regarding pad shapes, can it be possible to add teardrop shapes?
When I type kicad.org it redirects to https version of kicad-pcb.org and it says: Unable to connect.
Kick Eagles ass! And AutoCad also.
