I love rooms with attention to detail. Heavily furnished spaces, beautiful woodworking, blending of patterns, textures, colors, gorgeous paintings. It’s character, interest. Cold, minimalistic, monochromatic designs leave me cold. In my opinion they show a lack of imagination and courage.

I only dream now but one day my home will be completely furnished with RL furnishing. I started out buying one piece at a time & sometime still do. I also ware his brand & have some of his clothes, shoes & knee high boots. Plus I'm in love with his perfumes. My motto is "never give up". Thank God my daughter's love his brand as well, I still have 2 cashmere sweaters I bought on sale 1979 at Nieman Marcus in Fort Worth Tx...thank God I was able to make one of my bedrooms into a closet. I'm like most women my weight is like a yo yo. I have my clothes in categories, colors & sizes. I'm 82 & have my very 1st item I bought that was a gift back when I turned 40yrs old.

Continued: the first item was a gift (a loose cushion couch & a large square coffee table, both items are made from solid Oak & weigh a ton. I've had 2 new king size extra long "Serta" mattresses & thinking about a new one as I write this. "God bless You & Prayers For Good Health" if you took the time to read this. A video was made by a professional photographer just last week for insurance purposes & to add to our Genelogy bind for our future & present
GrandChildren. At present 8/21/23 time we have
2 daughter's, 6 grandchildren, 17 greatgrands & 14 greatgreatgrands. So hopefully when my husband & I go someone wants what we've collected, my husband collects old cars & pick-ups that actually run on the highway & each one has new "tuck & roll" leather seat covers, plus all are insured & they stay in their own garage. Pick-ups: 1 1949 Ford, 198? Dodge Hemi. Cars: 1957 Chev. Impala, 1955 Ford & 19?? Ford Bronco 4x4. All vehicles have fresh paint, tagged & run good. My husband is 88yrs old I'm 82 yrs old & we both have good health as of today. We're very active, we're Christians belong to the Methodists Church & still have friends from high-school that we go out to eat with, cook out with. Go to car shows nearly every weekend during the summer & Las Vegas twice during the winter. Our daughters & their husband's haul the cars where ever we go locally. El Paso has about 6 big shows during the year. The Vegas shows James & I fly out & sometime we ride ride back with the kids & enjoy our trip back.

Lovely to read your lovely history.
A video narrator described one of RL homes using the phrase - quiet wealth. Such a notable thing to say, I thought.
Also, in the home there were pops of colouful tartan. Grand for my Scottish Highland eyes to see. My mother, now 92 years, old worked in a woollen mill, Johnsons of Elgin, world renowned for it's tartan and cashmere. She met many Prime Ministers, Royalty, Lords and Ladies,
and world famous actors etc. Her bosses, the owners, retired. The couple lived happily until they were 100 plus. 🎉
