I came across your video while googling 'is it enough to stay 3 night ls at an all inclusive resort?'. Our family of 4 is planning to visit Puerto Vallarta for 3 nights 3 noches for my husband's and my 40th birthday, our birthdays are just 10 days apart. Unfortunately, we will be arriving 5pm on the first day so that will eat up most of our day BUT we are not going to do any excursions and just stay in the resort the whole time. Our flight leaves at 5pm on the last day. This will be our first time in Mexico so we have no idea! My question is, do you think it's worth it to take this short trip with 2 kids (age 10 and 3)? The reason why only 3 nights because this time-off is what we can only use for our vacation, we are saving the rest of our vacation time for a 3 week holiday early next year. Hi! I’m so glad this video came up for you! We usually do Cancun because we can get there so early in the first day!! But you will have a blast! If you can leave the kids home even better 🤣🤣. Since it’s a short time someone wouldn’t have to watch them as long! But you can bring them for sure but it will def be a lot more work and won’t feel like a vacation as much.
Hi! Great videos with amazing tips. Who do your normally book your travels with? I normally use Expedia because of the bundle (package) deals. I find it to be more pricey of I book hotel and flights separate. Can you also explain how or what upgrade do you do for the resort you stay in. You mention you get free hydrotherapy session when you upgrade. Can you explain to me how you upgrade. Do you upgrade your room when you check-in?

Actually we’ve gotten away from booking with Expedia because it’s hard to make changes and upgrades so now we usually go through the hotel directly and the prices are usually similar. But will def price compare and if it’s a big savings we do Expedia. Sometimes we do United Vacation. For upgrades there’s not a fool proof method that I’ve found. If I really want the upgrade I book it ahead of time and usually it’s a little more. If I don’t care I try to wait until I check in to see what discounts they have. Hydrotherapy is almost always included in the upgrade. If not it’s usually only like $40-50. Again I really appreciate you watching our videos!! Let me know!

I just came back from Playa Del Carmen this past Halloween weekend in celebration of my b-day and guess how many nights and days I stayed there?? Yes! 3 Days 3 Noches! I stayed at Reef 28. So every time I try to book separately, I always get a higher price than doing a package deal with Expedia (Hotel + flight). Something to think about just FYI. I also fallowed your advice in contacting Nacho for transportation but no luck because I arrived at airport 1205AM Friday. Someone did answer but they told me all the drivers were unavailable during the night. Anyway, Ill try to fallow your advice on the upgrade through the hotel next time. The only thing is that I have experience at some hotels is that they are more hesitant to upgrade you if you booked the room through a third party company such as Expedia. @@3Days3Noches Hi! Yes the Reef 28 was awesome. Great staff, restaurants, drinks and the rooms were very nice. The staff was very attentive and sweet. I would definitively stay there again. Where and when are you guys traveling again? I am also limited on vacation because I work 5 days a week and can't work remotely.

( we did reviews on both) We are going to Le Blanc on Sunday and will be doing a review of that too! That mentality is what keeps people home and NOT traveling. Sometimes 3 days is all people have including myself so I’d rather see what I can see rather then sit home!

What would you say the typical cost of sunscreen (Etc) is in Cancun? I don't like to bring it along.
