Also worth mentioning - its recommended you trim your rock rails if you've got em. I took about and inch off the rear. Thanks for watching!
Very informative content, and great selection on all your accessories! I must admit, that I've almost mirrored your car with mine... I wish I had watched this video before I bought my 32" KO2's, otherwise I would've done the same as you. Keep the videos coming!! Greetings from Mexico.
Wow great to hear, really appreciate it! Thanks for watching 👋
Great video, brother! You covered it all. Thanks for taking the time!
Thanks for watching!
How did you fit 315’s on the factory rims? Isn’t that 315’s requires minimum of 8” in width and factory rims is 7” - 7.5” at the most?
ACD and Me stock wheels are 7.5” wide. That is out of spec according to most , if not all tire mfg’s. A lot of tire places will mount them , some won’t. I had 35x12.5x 17’s mounted on the stock Recon wheels, No problems. I think they look better with the slight sidewall bulge.
Excellent production quality. What gear are you using to film with?
For this video an old Nikon dslr. Just recently upgraded to a Sony mirrorless that I'll be using in the next video 👍 can't wait
Great video!...very informative...I have an 08 JKU rubicon and torn between the 285 and 315 ko2 tires..I also want to use factory rims...any issues with gearing etc?...thx again
I'd go 315! No issues with gearing at all 👌
I have a 2018 JKUR Recon edition and i know i can put the 35" no problem but i want better shocks and springs. I want to beef it up and just want the basics for now, without going to far into it. What would you recommend?
I just installed teraflex's st3 kit and love it! Did a video on it if you're interested. If you don't want to go that extreme, you can also get kits with just their falcon 2.1 shocks and springs.
Excellent video, very informative!
Thanks Jared!
Will it rub the front bumper if you install the side ends of the bumper? I want to run 35's, but I'll hate if i have take them off because of rubbing, thanks!
Good question, I haven't had the caps on to test but I don't see it being an issue
Great videos! Keep it up man!
Thanks so much, will do 😁
Do you find the get up slow with the 35s and your gearing. I’ve got a Rubicon with 4.10 gears. I want to step up to 35s just worried it’ll be sluggish. Thanks!
Nope, I don't find it sluggish over here
Great video. Just to be clear, set of 4 1.5” spacers correct?
Yeah! That's what I'm running here 👍 thanks for watching
Great video ... Love the KO2s on my other vehicles. Which load rating did you go with for the 315/70/17?
Load range E over here!
I am getting 315/70r17 bfg ko2 in c rating today!
@@RubiconUnlimited we went with the C ... almost $70 cheaper. Now, just need to avoid those sharp, hard rocks!
@@AZ-JKUR-HR Nice! You won't be disappointed!
Enjoy em!
What are the biggest tire I can fit on a wrangler with kit a lift
what's the L/100km with ther 35s?
I've been floating around 16.5 with a good mix of city and highway. Thanks for watching!
Love he build. Does she clear at full flex?
Very minor rubbing, will be sorted with bump stop extensions
And thanks! 😁
@@RubiconUnlimited Where does she rub? I am considering a Low center of gravity build myself, as break over angle doesn't really matter much to me
Just in the rear, near the front of the inner fender. The bushwacker liner is wearing a bit
@@RubiconUnlimited Gotcha! If you need a content idea, Im sure im not the only one who would like to see that rub, and how you mitigate that! Thanks for replying!
what size lift do you have and great video.
Just the teraflex 1.5" levelling kit. Thanks for watching
What gearing? 3.21?
Rubicons have either 3.73 or 4.10s.
What psi do you run with the 35s stock rim for daily driving
Great question. I find 30 psi has been a good balance for me. Lower and you get a bit of side wall roll, higher and the tread bulges a little with the narrow rim.
What about airing down with the narrow wheels?
No problems with this rim width, it's probably the max you could go. They don't call it the poor man's beadlock for nothing 😂

Your tires aren't 35's They measure less than 34 inches installed...
On paper 35. They measure 33 3/4. Thanks
@@RubiconUnlimited Looks good tho.. Good set up for the snow using the stock wheels.
Thank you sir! It's been great so far
